There Is Only One You

There Is Only One You

Susan Y Nikitenko
June 9th, 2012

If someone said you were not special;
This assertion is not true.
Though you must work with all your heart;
There is no one -  just like you.

You were planned and purposed by our maker;
Before you were ever born.
You are one of His unique creations;
In love and thought you were formed.

There is only one you..

Keep The Spring In Your Step

Keep The Spring In Your Step

Springtime is just around the corner;
The birds are singing, hurray!
The days are growing  longer  now;
The flowers are on their way.
There is something about the Spring;
That brings refreshment and glee.
Everything is vibrant and alive;
As far as the eye can see.

God's grand and wonderful creation;
Gives us a new song to sing.
As we look up into the clouds;
And know God's  made everything.

Like the colorful tulips in bloom;
Let our love come shinin' through.
'Cause if Jesus is our number one
It will show in all we do.

Keep singin'  joyfully in song;
And keep the spring in your step.
Because Springtime is beautiful;
And so is a heart well kept.

Springtime has unnumbered treasures:
As does God's inspired Word.
Let our hearts be filled with revival;
Like the life in Springtime stirs.

Busy like a butterfly in flight;
Faithful like the birds that sing.
Let our hearts keep learning more of Him;
Faithful to our Lord and King.

Keep singin'  joyfully in song;
And keep the Spring in your step.
Because Springtime is beautiful;
And so is a heart well kept.

Creations New Birth

Creations New Birth

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
(rewritten February 27th 2011)

Gardening is certainly;
A fav'rite thing to do;
Because I spend so much time,
thinking about you. (God)

Spring flowers blooming;
Each bird and honey bee;
Shows your love around us,
Oh so, naturally.

Winter snow is heaping now;
But soon it will be done.
All the snow will melt away,
and then creations fun.

The butterfly, the tulips;
Will colorize the scene.
And as the air grows warmer;
The trees and ground grow green.

The sweet smell of the flowers;
Freshen the new born world;
Reminding me of New Life,
Found in Christ our Lord.

A heart that's cold and lonely,
Dead and gone astray;
But when you shine in,Dear Lord ,
It's a brand new day.

When you gave us winter, Lord;
You knew what you had done.
When spring time breaks to new birth;
It’s a picture of your Son.

For when your Son shines in;
New Life forever blooms.
A new creature in Christ;
Where death no longer looms.

The birds sing sweet harmony,
All nature joins right in.
I'll remember Jesus Christ,
And sing more praise to Him.

Because death was brought to life,
and New Life came to sprout.
I can tell a dying world,
What New Life’s all about.

How Can One Question ?

How Can One Question ?

A Poem About the Existence Of God
By: Susan Y Nikitenko
February 19th ,2011

Gods celestial creations beautifully shine.
How awe-inspiring the earth's grand design.
So remarkable it causes, tears to fall.
How can one question the maker of all?

He spoke and the worlds existed with grace;
He brought life to the world and a form to each
face.
So awesome our God, our creator and King
How can one question God's creation of things?

ln order we see all the seasonal wonders;
Spring tulips in bloom and the hot summer
thunders.
Fall's colorful array and winter's fresh snow;
How can one question? I really don't know.

Great mountains and forests scented with pine;
The sound of mountain waters flowing divine.
These peaceful retreats of splendorous shade;
Can one not see that these gifts are God made?

The waves of the ocean come crashing in time;
While all of the seagulls sing along in a chime.
The sands of enjoyment and the fresh ocean
breeze;
How can one question with blessings like
these?

The sun rises each morning with a new day;
It sets in the evening , while star glitter plays.
Morning and evening both start with a song;
To question our maker is just simply wrong.

Stand Still

Stand Still!

Stand Still.

Oh, children of God.
See the work of His hands;
Amazing creations and lands.

Stand Still!

And know He is God.
Consider the heavens above.
In awe consider His love.

Stand Still!

Know you are heaven made.
Your hands, your eyes,
Your mind, your heart,
You, His miracle, human art.

Stand Still!

See how wonderful He is.
Perfect, Holy Lord;
Deliverer of the world.

Stand Still!

Worship and adore Him;
Our Redeemer, our Friend,
The Beginning, the End.

I now stand still.

I see you Lord.
I love you Lord.
I need you Lord.

In Worship;
I stand still.

Autumn's Song Is The Harvest Song

Autumn's Song Is The Harvest Song

The garden leaves fall to the ground:
My face looks up while they fall down.
Without making one single sound;
Like flowers they lay all around.

Leaves whisking here and whipping there;
While Autumn winds sing Autumn's  song.
God's creatures they must sing along;
While they're gathering all day long.

The Summer  flowers are faded now;
The gardens need much love and care.
Winter knocks at the door of fall;
"Gather the Harvest!  Gather it All!"

Autumn's song is the harvest song;
Can you hear the warning winds?
Calling now for you to repent:
Before the Autumn season ends.

Jesus is coming to gather;
He calls to the wandering ones.
The winds of harvest are changing
The will of the Father be done.

O come reap the harvest of hope;
A bountiful harvest of love.
Jesus our Saviors is coming;
To take us to our home above.

"Gather the harvest Lord, gather it all;"
The trumpet of heaven leads this call.
The leaves are falling, heavens  calling;
"Gather the harvest , gather it all."

We've worked, we've sown and we've grown;
The garden is ready to glean.
And now winter cries out,  Prepare!
Jesus is very, very near.
Jesus is very, very near.
Winter cries out,  Prepare!

 I Thessalonians  4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

 Matthew 24:36

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

 Mark 13:32

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

While I Sing Here In My Swing

fantasy Pictures, Images and Photos

While I Sing Here In My Swing

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
August 21st, 2011

O Lord you see the stars on high;
You decorated the night time sky.
With shining lights that sing a tune;
And then you finished it with the moon.

Sitting in my swing this night;
I enjoy these evening sights.
The sounds and smells of restful winds;
And the peace I feel within.

You see the creatures here below;
There's nothing Lord, that you don't know.
Yet, still you reach with love and care;
And save the lost and hear our prayer.

A tear falls down my cheek tonight;
Because your love has given light.
To a dark world that could not see
And that dear Lord, included me.

My heart is full of praise , Oh King;
Your comforts like a lullaby.
Like the crickets soothing cry;
Your love brings peace and satisfies.

My heart is full and blest tonight;
For you have given life and sight.
Exuberant, my soul is worshiping;
While I sing here in my swing.

You Are More Than Amazing

You Are More Than Amazing

I have heard it sung again and again;
Just how truly amazing you are.
And it is so true, it's all about you;
Oh, beautiful, glorious day star.

You arise in the heart of believers;
You reflect through the lives of your own.
And your Word has power to change even....
The vilest of men, warped with a heart of stone.

Chorus:
You are more, more than amazing Lord.
You are more, more than worth praising, Lord.
Holy and Just , You loved men, made from dust;
And gave your life to save a sinful world. ...2X through

----

You are more than amazing, oh Lord;
You are much more than wonderful.
Your glory is more than glorious, Lord;
While your love is above bountiful.

No words could ever describe your greatness;
No song sung could ever explain your love.
No wonder on earth shows your full glory;
Nor all the goodness you consist of.

Chorus:
You are more, more than amazing Lord.
You are more, more than worth praising, Lord.
Holy and Just , You loved men made from dust;
And gave your life to save a sinful world. ...2X through

His Mercy Is Calling

His Mercy Is Calling

God is a faithful God;
His love never ends.
God is a faithful God;
His mercy extends.

Patient and kind is He;
His Word stands so true.
He's constant to help us;
His grace always new.

His awesome creation;
continually glows.
That like a new morning;
His faithfulness shows.

As the new moon rises;
And the sun rays beam.
We know that His mercy;
Gives love and redeems.

As the waves crash forward;
From the sea to land.
We know that His mercy;
Has reached for our hand.

Come to me He bacons;
To the soul that cries.
His mercy is calling;
With love in His eyes.

Turn now to the Savoir;
Today is the day.
His mercy provides you;
Deliverance today.

God Owns Miracles

God Owns Miracles

By : Susan Y Nikitenko
July 17th 2011

God owns the rivers:
That flow musically.
He owns the sunshine:
That beams 'cross the sea.

He owns the colors;
That cheer up our day.
He owns the power;
That moves when we pray.

He owns the mountains;
That echo His love.
And fountains of blessing;
That stream from above.

He owns the tree tops;
That flutter with song.
He owns all nature;
The week and the strong.

Chorus:

God owns miracles;
We enjoy each day.
Natures peaceful song;
And our children at play.

Miracles of strength;
When all strength has failed.
Miracles of comfort;
When heartache prevails.

God owns forever;
His love will endure.
He owns forgiveness;
He stands at the door.

God owns miracles;
Each amazing one.
Let us be thankful;
For all He has done.
----

He owns the angels; (creatures)
With most stunning wings.
He owns the song bird;
Each morning that sings.

He owns the starlight;
A twinkling repose.
He owns all knowledge;
And He owns the rose.

He owns the rainbow;
A promise He keeps.
And the strange creatures;
That reside in the deep.

He owns salvation;
That's offered to all.
And is attentive;
To each one that calls.

He owns the vic'try;
The struggle is won.
He owns the answers;
All found in His Son.

He owns the glory;
The honor and praise.
And He owns the heart;
That trusts and obeys.

Chorus:

God owns miracles;
We enjoy each day;
Natures peaceful song,
And our children at play.

Miracles of strength;
When all strength has failed.
Miracles of comfort;
When heartache prevails.

God owns forever;
His love will endure.
He owns forgiveness;
He stands at the door.

God owns miracles;
Each amazing one.
Let us be thankful;
For all He has done.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I’m Here! - By: Susan Nikitenko

I’m Here!

By: Susan Nikitenko
2009

There are many blessing filled things in this world:
Each season brings a new wonder,
Each mountain a refreshing marvelous view,
The rainbow after the thunder.

Nature’s glory gleams differently in each land:
The peacocks expanded array,
A ripened wheat field in the winds gentle sway,
God’s creations shine everyday.

I’m in awe at how truly amazing they are;
Many treasures, loved and adored.
Miracle after, beautiful miracle;
On display in this fallen world.

Beauty shines from sun lit waters on the sea.
I enjoy these blessings from God.
From the beaming moon, to the bright stars afar;
And the flowers He’s spread abroad.

His face shines upon the hearts of saved men;
That have been redeemed by God’s grace.
Great beauty glows from actions of holiness;
A praying soul, firm in his place.

I see bit’s of heaven, here and there on earth:
A family that loves each other,
A child’s genuine affection and love,
Fervent prayer for a brother.

The list goes on, His grace can not be measured;
Gods blessings will ever shower.
They sing from the tree tops, they blow in the wind;
They surround us every hour.

As I watch my babies lift there arms to me,
When held in my husbands strong arms,
When I see, the birds fly past in the wide sky,
And all of natures splendorous charms,

I know my God is loving and generous.
All creation cries out “I’m Here!”
God’s gifts are present with undeserving men.
And are perfectly engineered.
