What Would You Do?

What Would You Do?

What would you do if:
1. A man refuses to put a leash on his dog in a public place?
2. If the dog made you feel threatened?
3. If the dog seems to be trained to scare, but not to hurt someone?
4. If a person's pet is used to discourage  someone from going to a public place?
5. Is it right that a dog should make someone fearful to go to a public place?
6. What if it seems to happen with more than one dog with various owners?  (As though it were planned)

7. Would this be considered harassment if a person was using his dog as a way of controlling another person's actions?

The Best Year Is Yet To Come

The Best Year Is Yet To Come

Here again, a brand new year;
A story not yet told.
Prepare for something wonderful:
Plant seeds of purest  gold.
Yield now to thoughts, reflect anew ;

Noise out with joy on time.
Entreat the Lord  to bless the new;
Waiting, the New Years  chime.

Year goodbye, but yet, hello;
Each day is precious time .
A t daybreak, the New Year reigns :
Ring forth  His Truth sublime.
----
Looking upon this New Year;
With a happy ending.
Saying goodbye to last year:
With a new beginning.

Wishing a happy new year:
Upon your family.
With Jesus at the center;
The best year it can be.

Noise out with joy on time.
Entreat the Lord  to bless the new;
Waiting, the New Years  chime.

 The BEST year is yet to come.
Make Jesus Number One.

God Sent Jesus For Christmas

God Sent Jesus For Christmas

May you have a Christmas filled with joy;
Please know God  loves you so.
When Jesus came from heaven's  throne;
A baby, come down, to grow.
So small, but yet mighty God in flesh;
Emanuel  His name.
Hands so tiny, but yet very great;
Created ev'ry thing.
Jesus  loves you so, your name, He knows;

God sent Jesus for Christmas,

He was born to bare the nails of scorn;
God  sent Him because of us.
May you find peace this year for Christmas;
By putting in Him your trust.
He was born to set the captive free;
From sin and it's poverty.
May you find hope in Jesus this year;
He was born because of us.
Jesus loves your so, your need, He knows.

God sent Jesus For Christmas.

He was born to shine in the darkness;
Cause the blinded eyes to see,
May you find truth for Christmas this year;
In the one who calms the sea.
He was born to a virgin mother:
And born to die for our sins.
We have hope because of what He did:
May you find His salvation this year.
Jesus loves you so, your faults, He knows.

God sent Jesus for Christmas.

Great Love Brought Him To Us

Great Love Brought Him To Us

Christmas is here, the presents are wrapped;
The house is decked with red and green.
The wreaths are hung, Christmas lights are strung.
It's  all ready for Christmas Eve.

Though long ago, no decorations hung;
Only a star guiding the way.
In a sky full of stars made by our God's hands.
And a stable, filled with love and hay.

Better a stable filled with the love of God;
Than houses of gold without love.
The only gift that truly satisfies:
Is Christ, who was born unto us.

Christmas is here, the tree is all trimmed;
Packages placed neatly with care.
Silently the lights shine in the darkness;
And  silently a falling tear.

As we think upon the light of the world;
In the darkness, His glory gleamed.
He came as a gift, one silent night;
Beauty it was,  though humble it seemed.

Beautiful was the face of Jesus;
One day to be bruised for the lost.
 Beautiful were His hands and his feet;
One day to be nailed to a cross.

Virgin with child from God upon high;
Beautiful was the birth of Jesus;
The most beautiful Christmas of all;
Because great love brought Him to us.

So we pause today, we bow to pray;
"Oh Thank-you God for Jesus.
The light of Christmas, ever to shine;
Because your love, brought Him to us."

Jesus Wants Us To Be Ready

Jesus Wants Us To Be Ready

 What if Jesus came back today?
Or on this coming Christmas eve?
Would we be thinking of Jesus?
Would He be happy, would He be pleased?

What if Jesus came back in the clouds?
Upon  this coming Christmas day?
Would He find us blessing His birth?
If He returned on His birthday?

If the trump would sound, all around?
Calling the dead in Christ, "Arise?
Would we be ready at our turn?
To take flight to heavenly skies?

What if Jesus came back this Christmas?
Would you be ready to leave this world?
Would you even hear the trumpet?
Be ready to meet with the Lord?

Jesus wants us to be ready:
Whether tomorrow or today.
While decking halls and tins'ling trees;
Don't forget it's HIS birthday.

While hanging lights, that are so bright;
While hanging the bright star in place.
Remember sweet  Jesus was born:
T'was love, t'was truth, t'was life, t'was grace.

While driving along, singing a song;
While wrapping packages with bows:
Remember the child , so meek and mild;
The first gift of Christmas to know.

Jesus wants us to be ready:
Whether tomorrow or today.
With hearts afire, our thoughts higher;
Don't forget it's HIS birthday.

It Will Be A Joyous Day

It Will Be A Joyous Day

Red, brown,  yellow, black and white.
God loves every color.
One day when the Lord comes back:
We'll leave with him together.

We'll be with him forever;
One day we will fly away.
Brothers, sisters in  the Lord;
It will be a joyous day.

Troublesome, sometimes this world;
Troublesome, sometimes the day.
But in heaven, my friend;
Every trouble will fade away.

No night, no fight, just the light;
His love his plan forever.
Beautiful  heavenly hosts;
We will all sing together.

With everlasting praising;
One accord, not like this world.
We will love one another;
While we serve our risen Lord.

We know Jesus is coming;
It could be most any day.
What will He find you doing,
On the day we fly away?

We'll be with him forever;
One day we will fly away.
Brothers, sisters in  the Lord;
It will be a joyous day.

Where We'll Never Cry Again

Where We'll Never Cry Again

 Let the little children pray unto the Lord.
Pray through the troubles of this hurtful world.
When we are children of the living God we know;
We can find the hope in one who loves us so.

Jesus brings hope, even when teardrops fall;
Jesus brings peace, when we can't find peace at all.
One day Jesus is coming again;
To take us where we'll never cry again.

Christians have the promise of heaven;
One day we will never fear or hurt  again.
In our hearts He lives, He abide with us;
The comforter will speak ,  as we trust.

As we praise Him, through the problems we face;
Our hearts can find strength, in His holy ways.
Do not let bitterness take hold of you;
Go forward, He will carry you through.

March towards that city, our heavenly home;
Even if we find we are all alone.
Soon we will be crossing  over the Jordan;
Where his children will never cry again.

Comfort One Another

1 Thessalonians 4:14-18

 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words

The Greatest Gift Is You

The Greatest Gift Is You

When I get up Christmas morning;
See the presents under the tree.
I'll remember to thank Jesus;
For the blessings He's given me.

Though Christmas is about giving;
Receiving's a blessing too.
Because we know the one who gives:
Is saying to us, " I love you."

Though our gifts cannot be compared;
With the greatest gift once given.
The gift wrapped in swaddling clothes;
The love of God sent from heaven.
---
The greatest gift, was you Jesus;
The greatest gift ever given.
You the Child, became our Savior;
Through your blood, our sins forgiven.

Each light that twinkles, each bead strung;
Every little thing we've done.
Each present wrapped dims because....
You, are the greatest  gift of all.

The greatest  gift, was you Jesus;
No greater love, has been given;
You are the light of the world.
The greatest gift came from heaven.

The greatest gift
The greatest gift
is YOU.

Born

Born

Born, born into this world;
that needed Him.
Born, born into this world:
To die for sin.
Born to give His life one day;
For you and me.
Oh the love of God how sweet;
A love story.
A Christmas story of love;
God sent His own.
His Son, a pure white dove;
From heaven’s throne.
Oh , glorious day it was;
On that bright morn.
Glory, glory Christmas day;
Jesus was born.

Hope was born.

1 John 4:9-10
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Thank-You Lord

Thank-You  Lord

 I have a Father in heaven above;
I have a table surrounded with love.
I have loved ones who care about me;
I have a country of liberty.

I have eyes to see the stars gleaming;
And ears to hear the river streaming.
A heart that longs to serve our living Lord.
And tears for a lost and dying world.

I have feet that  bring me one step closer;
To the place you have prepared for me.
Another hour, another day:
To love, to live, to follow your Way.

I have a mouth that can taste the snow;
White, clean,cascading, a crystallizing flow.
I can enjoy, knowing each snowflake is new
And everything wonderful came from you.

I can look upon a morning sunrise;
I can see your goodness with faith's eyes.
Look upon a mountain in a foggy view;
Knowing  nothing is impossible for you.

I can behold the colors of the setting sun;
I can see you in all the things you've done.
In the rain, in the rainbow , and here below.
So many blessings, so many to know.

I can smell the fragrance of a flower;
That little tiny hands have picked for me.
And know all the while both are miracles;
I find very, very precious to me.

I have a tongue, that can give Thanksgiving;
That can praise you  and with a new song sing.
Though lowly are we in a small, small, world.
Thank-you, Lord, Thank you, Lord, Thank-you Lord,

Noah And The Ark

Genesis 6: 8-9

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
These are the generations of Noah:
Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and
Noah walked with God

Genesis 7:5

Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

I would like to tell you a bible story today about somebody that was especially chosen for a very important job.
God had looked to and fro the whole earth to find anyone who was faithful.  The world had grown to be a very wicked sinful place and God was very grieved because of it.

Out of all the people God saw Noah, he probably stood out like a sore thumb to everyone else, because he loved God and feared him.  He wanted to please God with his life and family.  He was going about life as normal, when one day something happened.  God spoke to Noah.

God told Noah how He was angered by the wickedness of the people.  It made God wish he never made people.  We need to understand that God wants us to love him and fear him.  He hates sin and wants us to turn from it.  God has presented us with choices and as we see in this true story from scripture,  Noah chose to serve God and love Him even though the rest of the known world had chosen to serve sin.

God had a job for Noah, God had, had enough with the rebellion against Him.  He told Noah there was going to be a flood.  It was going to rain so much that the earth would be covered and people,  plant life, and animals would die.    He told him to build an ark.  An ark is a giant boat.     God even gave him the measurements  and told him how He wanted  it to be built.

What do you think?  Do you think Noah listened to God's instructions?  it was so important for Him to follow God's plan for the ark, because it was a matter of life or death.   If He had followed his own plan the boat would not survive  the storm.  It would break up in the waves  and all of creation would be lost.    God had laid out a plan for escaping the judgment of the flood and following his plan was the only plan that would work.  God provided the way of salvation And it was their choice to refuse or follow.

Noah was a preacher and He preached of the coming flood.  He told people to turn to God because God was going to bring judgment upon the world because of mans sin.

Day after day people who past by could hear the hammers of Noah and his sons, They could hear the saws, they could hear the echoes of building.  They pointed fingers at him, they laughed at him.  They made a big joke out of him and his family.

The people had never seen rain before because it had never rained from the time of creation.  He preached and warned people and offered a place of safety upon the ark. Each day they scoffed and refused stubbornly and turned their ears away from the warnings.   Noah preached for one hundred and twenty years  and still none would listen.

Do you think Noah and his family ever had a bad day?  Yes they did.  Sometimes they may have hit a finger  with the hammer but  they kept building.  They were made fun of and rejected, but they kept building.  People thought old Noah was crazy, but he and his family kept on building.  Nothing could stop them from building, because Noah loved and believed God and taught his family the same.

God told them to gather two of every kind of animal, two by two,  male and female.  Lions, tigers, donkeys, cats, bears, ....wow.  Every kind?  God has made seemingly unnumbered  kinds of animals.  We must remember God can do anything and we know God was with Noah and blessed him.  To gather every kind of animal would be a miracle in itself.  God had his hand in everything  they were doing, because if God tells us  to do something, better believe he will be right there beside us while we do it.

Then the  time came,  it was time to shut the windows and doors of the ark.  God said it was time and they heard something,  "Tap Tap,  hear that?  Tap Tap Tap." The rain had started.  People who refused  to believe were ready to listen, but the door was shut, it was too late.  People were banging on the doors, but suddenly only the storm and waves could be heard outside the ark.

God has provided us a way to escape judgment.  Jesus is our ark, so to speak, and God's plan for redemption.  God loves people but He hates sin.  The bible teaches us that we are all sinners and none of us are righteous or good outside of Christ.  Trusting Christ for our Salvation and what he did on the cross for our sins would be the equivalent  to Noah's family seeking refuge and safety upon the ark.  It was the only way of salvation.

Jesus is the only way of salvation, salvation from the judgment of everlasting hell.  God loves people and has offered a place of safety in Him but they must listen, believe and take heed to the gospel of Christ  by receiving Christ into their heart and life.  After death the doors will be closed it will be too late,
Trust the Lord Jesus Today as your Savior and friend.

Father God,
Speak to each one here today, If there's  anyone here who needs to trust you today, open there hearts and minds to your truth.  Let them see that you have opened your arms to them .  That you want them to come to you and trust you for salvation according to your plan.

If anyone here is having a hard time at school or home or anywhere, give them the strength they need  to keep trusting you. Help them to  keep living for you even if they have a bad day,  just as Noah and his family kept building the ark and loving you even when no one else did.

Sweet Little Boy

Sweet Little Boy

 How sweet your smile;
And little nose.
Your little hands;
Your little toes.

Each word you say;
Each thing you do.
Each time you learn;
Something  new.

I love to hear;
I love to know.
Your love to me;
Is like pure gold.

Each little laugh;
Each little noise.
You touch my heart;
Sweet little boy.

Broken Hearted

Broken Hearted

Broken hearted;
Weeping On;
Broken hearted;
Loved one gone.

Broken hearted;
Comfort no;
With empty arms;
Grieving  so.

Jesus healing;
Day by day.
Restoring joy;
As  heart sways.

Jesus healing;
Speaks so clear,
I know that His
Heart is near.

Jesus listens:
He is there.
Through the sorrow;
Jesus cares.

Jesus Loving:
Jesus healing:
Jesus listens:
When we're grieving.

He Is

He Is

He is the sunshine in my heart.
He is the twinkle in my eye.
He is the glow upon my face;
And He’s the friend, whom I rely.

He is the calmness in my trouble.
He is the peace that fills my soul.
He is the rose of sweet assurance;
And the one who makes me whole.

He is the song I love to sing.
He is the tune I love to play.
He is the reason that I live;
And He’s the joy that fills my day.

He is the hug, when comforts needed.
He is the place I rest my head.
He is the one who dries my tears;
While there, I’m grieving on my bed.

He is the answer to men’s longings.
He is the water for that thirst.
He satisfies that empty place;
He is the one we must put first.

He is the mercy that will pardon.
He is the hand that reaches out.
He forgives and He is calling.
He loves you, there’s no doubt.

He is waiting now for you to call;
He’s provided you, The Way.
He is listening for that humble cry;
Will you trust Him, now, today?

Will you trust Him, now, today?

Thanksgiving - Praise

Thanksgiving  - Praise

This day we want to thank you, Lord;
How excellent are your ways.
All glory shall be given;
None but you deserve our praise.
Kindling in our hearts your love;
Sincerely we lift your name.
Giving  thanks, this thanksgiving;
It is you we will proclaim.
Visible are many blessings;
In this world formed at your command.
No deeper  joy than to know our God,
Gives blessings  in measures of sand.

Thank- You God For All Your
Many Blessings
