When You Believe November 12th 2018

Listen To The Tune.
This writing can be sung or read as a
dramatic reading.

Written November 12th 2018

James 1:6
 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

 Mark 9:23  Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
 John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
 Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
 John 17:20 ¶ Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
Matthew 17:18-21
 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
John 12:36
While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

God Is Not Finished With You

God Is Not Finished With You

Beautiful little sunbeam;
Walking, talking, growing knowing.
You are a  miracle child;
Everything about you , just sings.

A living prayer come true;
Someone said you would never walk.
Never say, never with God;
Cause He's greater than all our thoughts.

Bright shining little sunbeam;
Someone said you would never speak.
Walking talking miracle;
We now can hear your voice so sweet.

A Sunbeam, throughout it all;
God still has so much to do.
A smile, a beam, a light, a dream;
God is not finished with you.

Smoking Cigarettes June 25th, 2013

Smoking Cigarettes
Both of my parents were smokers and so were the majority of my family members.  I started smoking when I was a tween along with many other older teenagers.   I thought it was a very cool grownup thing to do.   I smoked until I was 27 years old.

When my baby was born I wouldn’t smoke in our house because I didn’t want my baby to be affected by breathing in cigarette smoke.  I went faithfully to church and even taught Sunday School as a smoker.  I smoked teaching only for about 6 months after I started teaching.   I was ashamed of smoking.  I tried hiding the fact that I smoked but it is something that is very hard to hide.  I didn’t lie about it I just didn’t tell anyone.
I remember praying numerous times to the Lord to help me stop, but still, I could not quit.  One day when my child became older she walked into the garage where I was smoking.  I knew that if I didn’t quit it would affect my child’s whole life.  That morning I prayed to the Lord. “ Lord, help me stop smoking because if you don’t Lord, I will smoke until the day I die.”   Like a miracle,  I never smoked again even to this day.  The one thing that helped me when I wanted a cigarette was the breathing exercises I learned from the birthing classes I attended before my daughter was born.   No one told me to do the breathing exercises to relieve the desire to smoke, I just did it and it helped.  I’ve shared with other people about this breathing exercise idea for helping smokers stop smoking for many years.   I know God delivered me from smoking but He also put in my heart to breathe if I felt an erg to smoke again.

A week after I was delivered from smoking I received a free carton of cigarettes in my mailbox.  I immediately ran water over the carton and threw it into the trashcan. I believed it was a temptation from satan.   That was over twenty years ago.

I thank God every day that I do not smoke because number one it stinks, number two it destroys belongings, and number three it makes people sick.  I can’t hardly tolerate being around smoking because it makes both me and my daughter feel sick and especially my daughter who sometimes has asthma attacks.

I Lift My Voice

I Lift My Voice

Susan Y Nikitenko
September 3rd, 2012

When I think of all the things you have done;
From the going down and rising of the sun.
When I behold the tiny miracles;
From the atoms to the largest animals.
I lift my voice in praises to your name;
To you my God, who's  love will never change.
A God who sees and knows my every thought;
Yet with your precious blood my soul you bought.
When I think of your forgiveness to me;
And how you've dealt with me most tenderly.
When I look upon my unworthiness;
My eyes look up with love and thankfulness.
I lift my voice in praises to your name;
To you my God, who's Word will never change.
You hold my very life within your hands;
And through my tears you always understand.
When I see the trees swaying on the hills;
And watch the clouds drift above the fields.
I listen to my heart that wants to sing;
It was love that made every living thing.
I lift my voice in praises to your name;
To you my God, who's love will never change.
I know your love and grace are more than real;
In knowing this, my heart hears peace be still.
When I think of  all the things you have done;
And meditate upon them one by one.
When I recall the greatest miracle;
How  your great love did the impossible.
I lift my voice in praises to your name;
I sing with joy, for you will never change.
You will never leave me nor forsake me;
You are my  purpose and my destiny.

Jesus, You Truly Are A Miracle

Jesus, You Truly Are A Miracle

Jesus, you truly are a miracle;
A miracle sent to earth.
A miracle, so wonderful and grand;
A Christmas miracle birth.

Though starlight is a miracle each night;
And the sunrise each new day.
Though laughter is a miracle of life;
Your voice, Miracles obey.

Though the wonder of the heavens rotate;
And new souls born each day.
Though pardon is a miracle of love;
You're the one that made the way.

Jesus, you truly are a miracle;
A miracle to be praised.
You made a way for sinners to be free;
From the bondage that enslaves.

Though all creation is a miracle;
Both here and galaxies blessed.
There's never been a greater miracle;
Than the day you conquered death.

Though we've seen miracles of answered pray'r;
And rejoice in them with awe.
It is your compassion bestowed upon us;
When miracles come to call.

Jesus, you truly are a miracle;
A glorious miracle.
The miracle that redeemed my heart and soul;
You change the unchangeable.

Jesus, you truly are a miracle;
A miracle to be praised.You made a way for sinners to be free;
From the bondage that enslaves.

When we've seen miracles of answered pray'r;
And rejoice in them with awe.
It is your compassion bestowed upon us;
When miracles come to call.

Keep The Spring In Your Step

Keep The Spring In Your Step

Springtime is just around the corner;
The birds are singing, hurray!
The days are growing  longer  now;
The flowers are on their way.
There is something about the Spring;
That brings refreshment and glee.
Everything is vibrant and alive;
As far as the eye can see.

God's grand and wonderful creation;
Gives us a new song to sing.
As we look up into the clouds;
And know God's  made everything.

Like the colorful tulips in bloom;
Let our love come shinin' through.
'Cause if Jesus is our number one
It will show in all we do.

Keep singin'  joyfully in song;
And keep the spring in your step.
Because Springtime is beautiful;
And so is a heart well kept.

Springtime has unnumbered treasures:
As does God's inspired Word.
Let our hearts be filled with revival;
Like the life in Springtime stirs.

Busy like a butterfly in flight;
Faithful like the birds that sing.
Let our hearts keep learning more of Him;
Faithful to our Lord and King.

Keep singin'  joyfully in song;
And keep the Spring in your step.
Because Springtime is beautiful;
And so is a heart well kept.

He'll Move Your Mountain

He'll Move Your Mountain

(song) By: Susan Y Nikitenko
April 12th, 2011
It's faith that moves mountains.
It's faith that will please;
Our Father in heaven;
Who witnesses these;

A child that will love Him;
Who prays ev'ry day.
A father, a mother;
Who teach God's true way.

A tongue that will speak truth;
A heart that is right;
A longing to serve Him;
With all of our might.

Faith is the victory;
The old Hymns proclaim.
Our God has moved mountains;
And He's still the same.

The God of the Bible;
Moves mountains today;
For those who will trust Him;
And humbly obey.

He will move your mountain.
He will part the sea.
He'll answer from heaven;
Providing your need.

He cares for His children;
And He hears their cry.
Our Father of mercy ;
No doubt, will supply.

So don't get discouraged;
And keep to the test.
Tell Jesus your problem;
And He'll do what is best.

I Am Amazed - Some Say

I Am Amazed

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
January 6th, 2012

He amazed the shepherds
On Christmas, long ago.
When a young married virgin;
Gently rocked Him to and fro.

She gave birth to the Savior;
The future risen Lord.
So then and forever;
He would amaze the world.

He amazed the lawyers;
When He taught the law.
When He was just a boy;
He astounded them all.

He amazed the grieving;
When He shouted, "Come Forth".
They witnessed His power;
Change an unchanging course.

Lazarus stood in rags;
As they watched and were amazed;
Their mouth stood open wide;
They glorified and praised.

He amazed His disciples;
In countless miracles.
Walking on the water;
And teaching in parables.

He amazed the children;
With His love and His care.
He taught them lovingly;
And was glad they were there.

They worshiped at His feet;
And listened intently.
With smiles at His stories;
Of love and liberty.

He amazed the world;
Because He healed lepers.
He loved without any fear;
The unwanted beggars.

He amazed the soldiers;
At His selfless Words so true;
Oh Father, forgive them.
They know not what they do.

He amazed the faithless;
When He arose that day.
For the tomb was empty
The stone was rolled away.

Thomas saw the nail prints;
And tears  were wiped away.
They truly were amazed.
On that first Easter day.

His children are amazed;
His children of today.
Because of  changeless love;
His grace has made away..

He loves the unlovable;
With a love that is grand.
He does the impossible.
And He numbers the sand.

I am amazed!

Some Say:
Some say a movie is amazing - but no movie really is that amazing.
Some say a person is amazing - but no person really is that amazing.
Some say a house is amazing - but no house really is that amazing.
Some say a car is amazing - but no car really is that amazing.
Some say a food is amazing - but no food really is that amazing.

Some say someone did an amazing thing - but nothing we do really is

that amazing.
-----

Our Savior Really--- Is ----Amazing!
Our Savior Really Did Do---- Amazing Things!
Our Savior Still Does Amazing Things!

Christmas Miracles

Christmas Miracles

White lace of winter;
Comes silently down.
Pine trees are decked with;
White all around.

Houses and fences;
Have wreaths and red bows.
Snowmen stand tall;
With coal eyes and a nose.

Pleasing the sweet sound;
The children at play.
Rolling and building;
In the snow all day.

Coa coa  and hot food;
Their mother prepared.
The house smells so good;
It's so pleasant there.

A blanket warming;
By the fireside.
The giggling children;
Cuddling side by side.

Christmas Eve, Joyful!
Fond memories made.
A home of comfort;
Christmas music played.

Evening has fallen;
The tree stands aglow.
Dancing to music;
A beautiful show.

By the fire side;
Their daddy tells them;
How Jesus was born;
And came to save them.

As they drift asleep;
He sings lovingly.
Of God's love for them;
Then sits silently.

The tree lights dancing;
A heart full of love;
A heart full of joy.
Blessings from above.

A loving family;
A quiver that's full.
The simple pleasures;
Christmas miracles.

"I love you daddy."
A voice could be heard.
Then he tucks them in;
Then nothing else stirs.
