I've Got A Cowboy - Valentine

I've Got A Cowboy

humorous valentine song

I'm just a ridin' along;
Singin' a song.
Waitin' for my honey;
To come along.

I've got a valentine;
I made for him.
Sayin'  how sweet he is;
My life time friend.

We've been ridin' along;
Along life's trail.
For a very long time;
And all is well.

A happy valentine;
Yes that is me.
Cause I've got a Valentine;
Who's in love with me.

A happy valentine;
Oh, yes it's true.
I'm a ridin' along;
Cause I love him too.

A happy valentine;
Yes that is me.
Cause I've got a cowboy;
And he loves me.

When God Says Let It Be

When God Says Let It Be

 God said, let there be light;
And there was light.
His light lit up a world;
That only knew night.

He said let there be stars;
And in an instant;
They were there shining;
in the firmament.

He brought life to a world;
That never had life.
God gave the world sunshine;
And hung the moon right.

He said let there be trees;
And there were trees.
Some with all kinds of nuts;
Some with fruits and leaves.

When He said  let it be;
It would come to be.
Fauna and the flower;
Many kinds to see.

He said let there be fish;
In the rolling sea.
And creatures of the deep;
Appeared instantly.

He created the beast;
And the bumblebee.
He created the birds;
And the chimpanzee

Happily here and there;
They were everywhere.
The cats, the dogs, the hogs;
The deer and bears.

The butterfly's a flying;
The beetles and bugs.
And all the moving things;
With a hum or buzz.

 From the dust of the ground;
He formed the first man.
Gave him the breath of life;
He came to a stand.

When He says  let it be;
It will come to be.
God, the God wonders;
He made you and me.

 He's the King of all kings;
Let's thank Him and sing.
God, God of creation:
Who created all things.

 Genesis 2:19
And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
Creation
Genesis 1:1-3
 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Isaiah 45:18
For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

Colossians 1:16

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Jesus Gave Me A Valentine -

Jesus Gave Me A Valentine

Jesus gave me a Valentine;
A valentine of love.
He said, He'd never leave me;
And in Him joy I'd find.

It wasn't pink with roses;
It hadn't any hearts.
But it is everlasting;
The message golden lined.

It had no pretty pictures;
Nor perfume sweet for me.
But it's Words are heavenly;
As true as they could be.

It's pages are worn and tattered,
As precious as could be,
And ev'ry time I read it;
It spells--- out love to me.

Thoughts About Humility And Love

Thoughts About Humility And Love

    King Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived.  Yet, he was not a good example everyday of his life, neither was David, or Moses, or Peter.  Not one living soul has not failed God in some way.  Not one single person has got through life without disappointing someone else.  Which means at one time or another we have all been hypocritical.  If someone would say to you they have never sinned they would be a liar, because the Bible says so in I John, as a matter a fact God has called us all liars. For one to point His boney finger at someone else for their failure in a sarcastic  judgmental way - without fearing God for their prideful assessment, may find themselves fallen into the a slop bucket of sin themselves.  That does not mean we should be silent about God's judgment and punishment upon his disobedient children,  but rather, we should ask God to keep us humble in the fear that we too could be overtaken in a fault.  We are all vulnerable in a world falling farther and farther away from sound biblical teaching.  God has told us to have compassion upon the fallen victim to sin, we should warn every man and teach every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus our Lord.  With a heart of compassion and prayer we should attempt to pull them back into right living.  Though if they refuse we are to withdraw, but ready as Christ himself, with open arms, in the case they return to a right relationship with Christ.

I know I'm not the smartest person in the world and sometimes I make mistakes on my spelling, but I'm no dumb head when it comes to some things.  I'm smart enough to know the day I can set back and ridicule other people ... is the day I better watch out for my own feet to be pulled out from under me.

If there is one thing I've learned throughout the years about God.  Sometimes when we wander away, He's simply is so good to us that it shames us back into a right fellowship with Him.  God can love us into getting right too, I know this first hand.  Other times we may need the biggest spanking of our lives.  I think it's very important to remember a little bit of love can make all the difference. Especially with our own children..sometimes love is the only answer, because anything else would drive them farther away.
God knows the heart and He knows the need.

If the wisest man that ever lived could fall into sin so could you or I, we must remember that if we are already crawling close to the ground, we will never fall because we are already down dodging bullets.

 Proverbs 24:16
 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
 Galatians 6:1
 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Follow The Heart Of Jesus

Follow The Heart Of Jesus

Song: Susan Y Nikitenko
 June 22nd, 2012

Follow!  follow the heart of Jesus;
Live by His Holy Word.
Rejoice!  Rejoice in Him forever;
Let your spirit be stirred.

Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Be a light in this world.
Reaching! reaching out in fervent love ;
Blessing our righteous Lord.

Follow in His goodness and His strength;
With hope and much respect.
Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Following in His steps.

Follow in His grace and His mercy;
His love will never part.
Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Holding Him near your heart.

Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Stay faithful and steadfast.
Look up! Look up! until His coming;
We will see Him at last.

Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Just follow in the Way.
Rejoice!  Rejoice in Him dear children;
Follow Him day to day.

Follow in His goodness and His strength
With hope and much respect.
Follow! follow the heart of Jesus
Following in His steps.

Follow in His grace and His mercy;
His love will never part.
Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Holding Him near your heart.

Follow!  follow the heart of Jesus.

Greater Than A Friend

Greater Than A Friend

I know that I'm nothing without you;
All life would be a bitter end.
You are the answer from heaven;
And your love greater than a friend.

You have held me close through heartaches;
And led me in your righteousness.
I trusted in your promises;
You  taught me through my wilderness;

You are healing my hurts day by day;
You have dried my tears with your grace.
As I go on in this life's journey;
I'll  long to see you face to face.

I know I have a home you've prepared;
A place along the golden streets.
This life is just a passing vapor;
Content in you, I am complete.

There Is No Valentine Like Jesus

There Is No Valentine Like Jesus

There is no Valentine like Jesus;
He's the fragrance of a sweet soul.
He's the roses blooming inside our hearts;
He's the one who makes lives whole.

He's the sweetest friend you'll ever know;
With warmth that warms the winter snow.
His love last for all eternity;
A love with joy that overflows.

There is no Valentine like Jesus;
With love that even changes me.
He is the sweetest Valentine I know;
His love is as real as it can be.

His  love is pure  like a waterfall;
That is given with liberty.
For whosoever will, can know;
The kind of love that sets you free.

A New Chapter

 A New Chapter

Sometimes it seems like the sunshine hides its smile;
And sometimes it seems like the rain will never go away.
Some find it easy to say, let it rain, let it pour;
But it's hard when the sunshine seems not to shine anymore.

Sometimes the Lord uses the rain to bring us  a rainbow;
Sometimes He teaches us patience through the storms rage.
To teach us to love more, to laugh more, and to live life;

By beginning a new chapter on a newly turned page.

A New Wing - Song

I'm in the midst of writing a story about a little boy named  Stanley.   In the story, Stanley dreams he is an angel in heaven with a broken wing.  The song you are about to read is a lullaby about God's provision and also the dream Stanley tells us about in the story.

Now we know that a real angel would never have a broken wing in heaven because there is never any suffering or sadness in heaven, so you need to think a little deeper as to what is being taught.  God wanted little angel to do something but little angel couldn't because He had a broken wing.   When God wants us to do something He will always provide a way and in this lullaby - God gives little angel a new wing.

A New Wing

A little angel sat alone on a cloud;
With broken wing, he could sing, but not fly.
All the other angels could do anything;
They could even touch the stars in the sky.

Music notes were floating around in heaven;
Happily moving to a music box sound.
Angels were writing a new song for Jesus;
The most beautiful music ever found.

Little angel stood up , to rejoice in the Lord;
With one glittering wing outstretched, in sway.
Then the Lord took His angel up in His arms;
Little angel got a new wing that day.

The choir of angels gathered all around;
And in harmony they began to sing.
Then little angel stood upon his cloud;
And began to sing upon his golden wings.

O how glorious the sound of the music;
From the heavens could be heard afar.
But off in the distance there could be seen;
One little angel out to touch a star.
