Whispers Of Love

Bible Reading

. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.  I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
 My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.
 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors. {My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
 I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
 My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
 Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
 HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.
 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.  Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.
 Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.
 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.
 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
 So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
 The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.
I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.
 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
his I had, because I kept thy precepts.

Psalms 119:1-56

I Can Always Depend On You - Text

I Can Always Depend On You

I praise you because of the great love you have shown;
You gave your all, you gave yourself.
Your love moved a mountain that could never be moved.
Your love to me is much more than wealth.

The world goes around without making a sound ;
The sky is blue and always new;
But still your love is the greatest gift I have found;
The greatest miracle is you.

The stars can sing, we see them twink-le-ing;
Upon a midnight dark and clear.
Hear the waterfall in forests thick, so tall.
But you are the greatest gift of all.

We can hear the hoot of a hoot owl call;
Nature's sounds of all creation.We can hear the wind, as it is whistling by;
Lord, you are my habitation.

When a storm passes by on a cold dark night;
I know I can find rest in you.
Because you are the rock of my salvation;
I can always depend on you.

The world goes around without making a sound ;
The sky is blue and always new;
But still your love is the greatest gift I have found;
The greatest miracle is you.

I can always depend on you.

Through The Seasons - Corrected

Through The Seasons

God made the seasons for you and for me;
Each one brings praise and to Him much glory.
We see the small snowflake with patterns so small;
Patterns unnumbered and different, them all.

Dancing, a snowflake, finds some place to land;
Then gently rests on a child's open hand.
Building a snowman that seems eight feet tall;
Winter's a season that kids understand.

All the sweet moments the seasons bring;
Like newly born robins learning to sing.
Bright tulips of pink, purples and reds;
Refreshing each morning of a brand new spring.

Beautiful flowers abloom in the trees;
All brown meadows turning to green.
Newly born babies of all nature's friends;
More than pleasant  God's creation of spring.

Then comes hot weather close to July;
Pastures of green and orange butterflies.
Flowers scattered throughout the grassy fields;
While the Sun beams fill an unclouded sky.

Summer grows hope in the vegetable blooms;
Green corn stalks grow tall, all flowing in a sway.
The green beans grow with vines up a bean pole;
God's blessing grows something new every day.

Thunder and rain on a hot summers night;
Brings new flowers and  a sunny new day.
Thank God for the blessings of the seasons;
They spell out love in a lovable way.

Another changing season now to see;
Colorful harvest, colorful leaves.
When trees seem to sing come look at me;
But they once again give Him the glory.

With each changing season, with each new day;
There comes reasons to praise our God again.
Just as God has loved us through the seasons;
With more than mere words let us love Him.

Charge them that are rich in this world,
that they be not highminded, nor trust
 in uncertain riches, but in the living God,
who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

So Many Shadows Of Heaven

So Many Shadows Of Heaven

So many shadows of heaven;
Are everywhere to be found.
From orange red skies to butterflies;
From roses to forest stream sounds.

The powers of space and beyond;
The lights of the stars shining down.
The sun twinkling through the trees;
The spring flowers dancing around.

The rocks and riches of mountains;
The minerals of precious stones;
And beautiful flowing fountains.
Were created from heavens throne.

So many shadows of heaven;
Are created to bring Him praise.
The greatness of our God above;
Oh, how excellent, all His ways

The snowflakes and all their designs;
The fall leaves in colors displayed.
The spring bringing life once again;
The summers grand finally played.

So many shadows of heaven;
From wonder to wonders each day.
Like family and friendship too;
And God's Word leading us the way.

So many shadows of heaven;
Reminders of what's yet to be.
For those who trust in Christ alone;
The wonders of e-tern-it-y.

John 1:1-3

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Praise The Lord For Springtime

Praise the Lord For Springtime

 It's time to praise the Lord for springtime:
And all the things that make it so.
Warmth of day, the children at play;
And the lovely flowers that grow.

The trees so happy, for their new leaves;
With pretty blooms across them strung.
The robin busy building her nest;
A place for the birth of her young.

A sun glow within a splashing stream;
With colorful growth on the shore.
Reflections of the clouds passing by:
The sound of the streams encore.

Everything new, springing again to life;
After the winter months have cleared.
Like the birth of a young speckled fawn;
And His mother holding him near.

I praise the Lord for the springtime;
And all of the life that it brings.
The fair white Lilly of the valley:
And the joy of the birds that sing.

I praise the Lord, praise the Lord;
For the miracles of spring born.
For gentle breezes of refreshment;
Reviving walks in early morn.

I Praise You, Lord;
Praise You, Lord.

He Made All - Song June 30th, 2013

 He Made All

We know our maker planned each thing;
For He is God, creator King.
We know He's more than wonderful;
And we know He's more than able.

When the stars twinkle in the sky;
When the wind blows blissfully by.
When the raindrops come splashing down;
When this old world spins around.

When the morning birds sweetly sing;
When morning dew is glittering.
When the sunshine greets with a smile;
When towering trees stand a mile.

We know without a doubt He's God;
When blows the storms with lightning rods.
When infants sweet sway in our arms;
When love has sheltered them from harm.

We know our God is powerful;
Still He created the graceful;
Like twirling seeds that dance from trees;
Each time there is a tiny breeze.

Like poppies that are colorful;
With differences so beautiful.
Like dragonflies with wings that shine;
Upon the pond where frogs all line.

Our God is good, our God is great;
He's always perfect never late.
Our God so grand, in whom we trust.
He made all - including us.

How Can One Question ?

How Can One Question ?

A Poem About the Existence Of God
By: Susan Y Nikitenko
February 19th ,2011

Gods celestial creations beautifully shine.
How awe-inspiring the earth's grand design.
So remarkable it causes, tears to fall.
How can one question the maker of all?

He spoke and the worlds existed with grace;
He brought life to the world and a form to each
face.
So awesome our God, our creator and King
How can one question God's creation of things?

ln order we see all the seasonal wonders;
Spring tulips in bloom and the hot summer
thunders.
Fall's colorful array and winter's fresh snow;
How can one question? I really don't know.

Great mountains and forests scented with pine;
The sound of mountain waters flowing divine.
These peaceful retreats of splendorous shade;
Can one not see that these gifts are God made?

The waves of the ocean come crashing in time;
While all of the seagulls sing along in a chime.
The sands of enjoyment and the fresh ocean
breeze;
How can one question with blessings like
these?

The sun rises each morning with a new day;
It sets in the evening , while star glitter plays.
Morning and evening both start with a song;
To question our maker is just simply wrong.

Dear Jesus

Treasure Box ~ Jesus Our Friend

Dear Jesus
By: Susan Y Nikitenko
September 20th, 2011
********
Dear Jesus,  You're my best friend;
You're the song in my heart.
You're the reason I'm forgiven;
You won't let me fall apart.

Dear Jesus,  You're my captain;
You're the boat that I sail.
You're the reason that I'm living;
You've snatched my soul from hell.

Dear Jesus, You're my mountain;
You're faithfulness  endures.
I know I can trust your love;
I know I'm safe and secure.

Dear Jesus,  You're my blue sky;
You shine in my heart today.
Because when I worship you;
All the dark clouds roll away.

Dear Jesus,  You're the fountain;
That flows eternally.
All that drink of your  water.
Will  find faith and hope in thee.
 CHORUS:
You're my ocean,  that flows strong;
You're grace rides on the waves.
You're serene,  gives us a peace;
You are the power that saves.

Dear Jesus,  You're my best friend;
And the friend of all who trust you.
You are the reason for life;
I pray, I will always please you.
We can feel secure in knowing He has a greater plan even through suffering and difficulties.  God has a reason for the problems we face.  We can feel secure in that He said, " I will never leave thee."
We can feel secure in knowing that God never lies and that we can count on His promises.  We can feel secure in that nothing can pluck us out of His hand and that we have a home prepared for us.
He will not leave His children comfortless.   ~ Susan Nikitenko

It Was Love, True Love

It Was Love, True Love

Why does The rainbow;
rejoice after a rain?
Why does the bluebird ;
sing a cheerful refrain?

Gifts from our Father;
In heaven above.
All beautiful ways;
To show man His love.

Why do the eagles;
Fly high in the sky?
Above the great storm;
With courage they fly.

Gifts from our Father;
Who calms all our fears.
All wonderful ways;
To show man He cares.

Why do the mountains;
Speak peace to the soul?
Why does the ocean;
Waves continually roll?

Gifts from our Father;
They constantly shine.
All given in love;
To all of mankind.

But greater than these;
The gift of great love.
When God gave His Son;
His perfect white dove.

Why did Jesus give;
His life for the lost?
Why was He willing;
To suffer the cost?

It was love, true love;
Provided that day.
God's marvelous love;
Provided the way.

God gave up His Son;
To die in despair.
The ultimate gift;
Our God did not spare.

It was love, true love;
A gift with a seal.
That came from heaven;
Amazing and real.

Singing in the Daisies

Singing in the Daisies

Morning sounds all around.
The rooster cries good morn.
The dew a twinkling, on the grass.
A new day now is born.

Happy birds start singing;
Their lovely songs of love.
To our Heavenly Father,
Watching from above.

A prancing deer, seems in a rush;
He runs through nearby trees.
A busy little squirrel “chucks”,
And rustles through green leaves.

I’m walking through my garden;
At peace, I’m so content.
The breath, of it’s refreshment;
I know is heaven sent.

The sun is shining brightly;
It’s resting on my face.
It feels as though, I’m warmly hugged;
In loving arms, embrace.

Walking amongst God’s flowers;
Each a special, painted art.
I’m singing in the daisies;
The song, “How Great Thou Art”.

I lay, so happy, like a child;
Upon a patch of grass.
Watching fluffy clouds go by;
Winds blow and gently pass.

I love the coolness of the grass.
It feels good on my toes.
I pick a pretty flower;
And hold it to my nose.

Creation is a work of love;
A very special gift.
A little heaven, here on earth;
To comfort, speak, and lift.

It makes a heart, start praising;
And praying lips, to sing,
While observing such perfect art;
Created by our God and King.

So take time to smell the roses.
Run cool grass between your toes.
Take the time to praise the Lord.
Forget your world of earthly woes.

Sing amongst the daisies,
Sweet melodies of praise.
Our Lord, has richly blest us
In so many different ways.

God Owns Miracles

God Owns Miracles

By : Susan Y Nikitenko
July 17th 2011

God owns the rivers:
That flow musically.
He owns the sunshine:
That beams 'cross the sea.

He owns the colors;
That cheer up our day.
He owns the power;
That moves when we pray.

He owns the mountains;
That echo His love.
And fountains of blessing;
That stream from above.

He owns the tree tops;
That flutter with song.
He owns all nature;
The week and the strong.

Chorus:

God owns miracles;
We enjoy each day.
Natures peaceful song;
And our children at play.

Miracles of strength;
When all strength has failed.
Miracles of comfort;
When heartache prevails.

God owns forever;
His love will endure.
He owns forgiveness;
He stands at the door.

God owns miracles;
Each amazing one.
Let us be thankful;
For all He has done.
----

He owns the angels; (creatures)
With most stunning wings.
He owns the song bird;
Each morning that sings.

He owns the starlight;
A twinkling repose.
He owns all knowledge;
And He owns the rose.

He owns the rainbow;
A promise He keeps.
And the strange creatures;
That reside in the deep.

He owns salvation;
That's offered to all.
And is attentive;
To each one that calls.

He owns the vic'try;
The struggle is won.
He owns the answers;
All found in His Son.

He owns the glory;
The honor and praise.
And He owns the heart;
That trusts and obeys.

Chorus:

God owns miracles;
We enjoy each day;
Natures peaceful song,
And our children at play.

Miracles of strength;
When all strength has failed.
Miracles of comfort;
When heartache prevails.

God owns forever;
His love will endure.
He owns forgiveness;
He stands at the door.

God owns miracles;
Each amazing one.
Let us be thankful;
For all He has done.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
