Blessed Sonshine

S NIKITENKO

Blessed Son-shine

In dawn’s first glow, the world awakes,
Soft petals drink the golden rays,
Mountains blush at morning’s grace,
And rivers gleam like sparkling praise.
Yet far more radiant lights my soul—
The Blessed Son-shine in my heart.

Like sunbeams glist'ning on the sea,
Each promise flickers hope anew;
In every whisper of the breeze,
I sense Your Spirit’s gentle clue.
Creation’s wonders bow and sing,
To honor what Your love imparts.

The sunflower lifts its cheerful face,
In humble faith it yearns for light,
Same, in my weakness, You give strength,
Morning dusk turning dark to bright.
Each seed you plant of joy and peace
Blossoms beneath Your sovereign art.

When storms roll in with mounting winds,
And shadows stretch across the land,
Your promise stands—steadfastly true,
Casting out fear, we trust in you.
No mountain high, no valley low,
Can hide the power of Your heart.

O Blessed Son-shine, touch my life.
With blessings only You bestow.
That I may always reflect Your light,
In ev'ry step following you.
For though your love paints skies so grand,
Your Spirit’s blessing guides my heart.

 John8:12
 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
I am the light of the world: he that followeth me
 shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Morning Prayer Poem/Song

Morning Joy Poem

A Devotional Poem Inspired by Psalm 30:5 “...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

Tears may fall like evening rain, Soft and silent, full of pain. Hearts may ache and voices hush, As sorrow paints the world in blush.

But morning breaks with golden light, A whisper chasing off the night. The sun ascends with gentle grace, And joy begins to take its place.

Not fleeting fun or worldly cheer, But peace that draws the Spirit near. A holy gladness, deep and wide, That walks with us and will abide.

For some, the night is long and cold, A story heavy, grief retold. A sister lost, a mother gone, A prayer repeated till the dawn.

Yet even then, through tear-stained eyes, God’s comfort like a blanket lies. He holds our hearts, He hears our cries, And lifts our gaze toward morning skies.

Joy is not a perfect day, But knowing Christ is here to stay. It’s hope that sings when words are few, A quiet strength that carries through.

So let the morning rise again, With healing light and soft Amen. For in the hush of breaking day, God’s love will never drift away.

And when the final morning comes, With heaven’s light and trumpet drums, No more tears, no more goodbye— Just Morning Joy that fills the sky.

Reflection: Morning Joy isn’t just a poetic phrase—it’s a promise. In seasons of sorrow, God’s presence brings renewal. This poem reminds us that joy isn’t the absence of pain, but the presence of Christ in the midst of it. May this morning bring you peace, hope, and the quiet assurance that you are held.

Thee And Only Thee

Thee and Only Thee

Lord, fill  my heart with your presence;
Holy Word penetrate my essence.
Take away my anxiety;
Speak, for I'm attentive unto thee.

Put a song upon my heartstrings;
Oh what peace, what joy, your Spirit brings.
When we seek thee, when we love thee;
When we worship thee and only thee.

Within this world's tempestuous sea;
Help us keep eyes of faith on thee.
This world is hateful,  unfaithful;
But you dear God,  are unchangeable.

Praise your name your Holy name, dear Lord;
You're still the same, You're still the same.
Put a song upon my heartstrings;
Bring you glory to your holy name.

Lord, fill my heart with your blessing;
As I yield my being, confessing.
You are our strength and you are our stay;
That's why we can rejoice in you each day.

Put a song upon my heartstrings;
Oh what peace, and comfort, your Spirit brings.
When we seek thee, when we love thee;
When we worship thee and only thee.

Let Us Seek The Saviour

Let Us Seek the Saviour

The wise men were wise men because they followed the light.
They traveled in the night time, then day after day.
They traveled from afar in the light of a bright new star.
An adventure as they followed in the way.

The wise men were wise men because they followed the way;
Seeking Jesus, Son of God, Saviour of the World.
A new born King foretold in the pages of scripture.
An infant, born of a virgin, like never before.

The wise men were wise men  because they were led by God.
God sent worshipers with gifts to the Saviour.
They were scholars' of astrology, educated;
Perhaps, answers to Mary and Joseph's prayers.

They, examples,  for us today  to follow the light;
for  we know that the light of the world is Jesus.
 The light of the Word is the Truth of the Word.
As we follow in it's wisdom , it's light leads us.

As we look at the book, it is the star, that leads us;
Leads us to the Saviour! To the King of kings!
The Lord of Lords! The Way! The Truth! The Life!
Christmas child!  Emanuel! To whom angels sing!

And as they sought to worship and adore the Christ child.
Let us seek the Saviour, and worship Him each day.
Let the Christ of Christmas bring joyfulness to our hearts.
Knowing He is the Gift that gave us Christmas day.

A Reading

Psalms 119:2
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
Acts 17:27
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

God Is Still Great!

God Is Still Great

God is greater than any sea;
Than high mountains of majesty.
Greater far than heavenly stars;
Greater than all mankind is He.

God is greater than the blue sky;
Or any invention that we try.
Greater than the riches of earth;
Or even a tiny child's birth.

Chorus:
Greater than any obstacle;
Or anything impossible.
Through Christ alone our greatest fate;
God is still good,  God is still great.
greater than great, God is still great

God is greater than you or I;
Or any problem that makes us cry.
Greater far than our greatest foe;
There is nothing He doesn't know.

God is greater than creation;
More than our imagination;
Fashioned by his creative hands;
Great wonders here and other lands.

Chorus:
Greater than any obstacle;
Or anything impossible.
Through Christ alone our greatest fate;
God is still good,  God is still great.
 greater than great!

God is still good,  God is still great!

God is greater than great!

I sang this song just for the purpose of letting you know and showing you that this song can be sung. I never claimed to be a wonderful singer and I’m definitely not showing off as you well know. The message of this song is to communicate that there is nothing or no one greater than God. I have been willing to make a fool out of myself to help you know that this is a song.

Psalms 95:3
For the LORD is a great
God, and a great
King above all gods.

I Am So Thankful

I Am So Thankful

I Am So Thankful;
That God's Ways Never Change.
He Is Still Faithful;
In A World Rearranged.

I Am So Thankful;
He Gives Grace To His Own.
Though Great Grows the Darkness.
His Light Ever Shines On.

I Am So Thankful;
That When Life Gives Us Grief.
That You Will Restore;
Beyond Hopes And Belief.

I  Am So Thankful;
That Your Peace Can Be Known.
Though This World May Fall;
We Will One Day Be Home.

Forward Into Victory - Changes

Forward Into Victory

Courage moves us forward into victory;
Even through life's toughest times.
Sometimes when tempted to despair, in our cares;
To God's  blessings, we are blind.

Sometimes we feel we've been defeated;
Seems like the devil has won.
I've learned the only thing that seems to help me through.
Is giving praise to God's Son.

Take time to thank Him in the battles of faith;
In any hardship life brings.
Life if more bearable, in Jesus our Lord.
When we trust him in all things.

Giving God the highest place in our hearts;
Each day, in the way, of truth.
Knowing when He died, He died for you and me;
In Him we can live brand new.

Just as He arose, like morning sunshine.
The Day Star was born in us.
He has given us power to overcome;
When by faith we learned to trust.

When things come to ashes , and things come to dust;
I pray His presence will show.
Enduring by His grace, each thing that we face;
That God's love, others may know.

Yes, we can do all things, we can endure all things;
Believeth all things in him.
We can hope all things, beareth all things, on eagle wings.
"Til  Jesus comes back again.

'Cause,  Hope Keeps Us Going;
'Cause, Faith Keeps Us Praising;
Courage Says "I Can":
I Can Do All Things -

I Can Do All Things Through Him.

'Cause Truth Keeps Us Knowing;
Courage Says" "Stand Tall."
I Can Do All Things -I Can Do All Things -I Can Do All Things -

Mothers

Mothers

Mothers show love in the many thing they do along life's way.
They bless our day, both bright or grey, and wipe each tear away.
Wiping the nose, cleaning the clothes, singing a little song.
Giving a hug, all nice and snug, consoling when things go wrong.
Mother's  know best, when life's a test, she always shows her care.
When grumpy or sad, feel sick or mad, Mom is always there.
She looks in your eyes, she's a surprise, she brings life a smile.
When she is asked, She does well each task, she goes the extra mile.
She gives her best, she'd do no less, even when she's ill.
She give's what she can, sticks to the plan, if she can she will.
Mother's a friend, we can depend, her love goes on and on.
Her influence, makes a difference even when she is gone.

Thank-You Mom

Time And Time And Time Again - New Poster

Time And Time And Time Again

Fill me with your goodness Lord;
Do  your loving through me.
Let others see your presence;
Even if they disagree.

Lead me in the words I say;
Guide me in the things I do.
Let my feet not stumble Lord;
Lest my life bring shame to you.

Sometimes I feel  very week;
I need your strength and power.
I love you and I need you;
Each moment and each hour.

It is your love that holds me;
It  is your grace that sustains me.
Through the valleys, through the storms;
You have embraced me constantly.

Words cannot express at all;
Just how  gracious you have been.
For your love has lifted me;
Time and time and time again.

Sometimes I feel  very week;
I need your strength and power.
I love you and I need you;
Each moment and each hour.

Words cannot express at all;
Just how  gracious you have been.
For your love has lifted me;
Time and time and time again.

Jesus Is Life's Greatest Treasure

Jesus is Life's Greatest Treasure

The greatest treasures of this life;
Are not the artifacts of old.
Not treasures hid deep in oceans wide;
Not treasures of silver or gold.

The greatest treasures of this life;
Are not found in houses or lands.
Not found in an education:
Magnificent  ideas or plans.

We treasure and enjoy nature:
Along the garden paths and streams.
Love the view of a setting sun:
Breathing  in the fragrance of spring:

Yes, all these things are treasures;
Each creature, each flower, each tree.
And each mind boggling wonder.
From sparkling sea, to sparkling sea.

Each person is a treasure to Christ;
That's why He died for you and me.
Like precious stones mined  from the rocks;
But worth more than it's treasury.

Though children are cherished treasure:
More than mere words could really say.
Though we treasure and love our spouse:
And precious time with them each day.

Jesus is life's greatest treasure:
Without Him all treasure is lost.
Eternal treasure will remain:
Because Jesus has paid the cost.

Jesus is life's greatest treasure:
Without Him all hell would break forth.
All would be lost and hope be not:
Eternal damnation our course.

Jesus  is unfolding treasure;
Hope everlasting, life anew.
If you would believe upon him;
A treasure forever in you.

1Peter 1:18-21
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

So Many Shadows Of Heaven

So Many Shadows Of Heaven

So many shadows of heaven;
Are everywhere to be found.
From orange red skies to butterflies;
From roses to forest stream sounds.

The powers of space and beyond;
The lights of the stars shining down.
The sun twinkling through the trees;
The spring flowers dancing around.

The rocks and riches of mountains;
The minerals of precious stones;
And beautiful flowing fountains.
Were created from heavens throne.

So many shadows of heaven;
Are created to bring Him praise.
The greatness of our God above;
Oh, how excellent, all His ways

The snowflakes and all their designs;
The fall leaves in colors displayed.
The spring bringing life once again;
The summers grand finally played.

So many shadows of heaven;
From wonder to wonders each day.
Like family and friendship too;
And God's Word leading us the way.

So many shadows of heaven;
Reminders of what's yet to be.
For those who trust in Christ alone;
The wonders of e-tern-it-y.

Praise The Lord For Springtime

Praise the Lord For Springtime

 It's time to praise the Lord for springtime:
And all the things that make it so.
Warmth of day, the children at play;
And the lovely flowers that grow.

The trees so happy, for their new leaves;
With pretty blooms across them strung.
The robin busy building her nest;
A place for the birth of her young.

A sun glow within a splashing stream;
With colorful growth on the shore.
Reflections of the clouds passing by:
The sound of the streams encore.

Everything new, springing again to life;
After the winter months have cleared.
Like the birth of a young speckled fawn;
And His mother holding him near.

I praise the Lord for the springtime;
And all of the life that it brings.
The fair white Lilly of the valley:
And the joy of the birds that sing.

I praise the Lord, praise the Lord;
For the miracles of spring born.
For gentle breezes of refreshment;
Reviving walks in early morn.

I Praise You, Lord;
Praise You, Lord.

No Other Answer

No Other Answer

There's no better love;
There's no better friend:
There's no better way;
For you to begin.

He's the King of kings;
He's the Lord of lord.
He will give you strength;
In this wayward world.

Friends will let you down;
Tears may fall like rain.
But God is faithful;
He brings hope again.

Don't go the wrong way;
Please don't fall away;
In His loving arms:
Is the place to stay.

Jesus is our joy;
He's for you to know.
            Give Him first place:
His love fills the soul.

No other answer;
In a temp'ral world.
The answer for hope?
Make Jesus your Lord.

Love No Sweeter

Love No Sweeter

 Hearts or roses;
Pedals or  posies.
Do not compare
To my Valentine.

Love much greater;
Than the stars that shine.
Love no sweeter;
Than my Valentine.

Like the honey:
From the honeycomb,
Like the water;
From a sparkling spring;

The love of God;
How precious, how calm.
Resting in love;
Under His wings.

Love much greater;
Than the stars that shine.
Love no sweeter;
Than my Valentine.

The Kind Of Love That Will Never End

The Kind Of Love That Will Never End

When thorns tore through his sweaty brow;
When with faces, they jeered with hateful growls.
Beating Him beyond recognition;
Submitting to God, He was being our friend.

He was willing to pay the price;
It was love, true love, there was no other way.
No greater love, no greater friend;
The kind of love, that will never end.

 When the first nail was pounded down,
When the first drop of blood fell to the ground;
When His hands stretched from end to end;
When He was dying  there for our sin.

He was willing to pay the price;
It was love, true love, when he gave his life.
No greater love, no greater friend;
The kind of love, that will never end.

When the spear was thrust into His side;
When the Son of God began to die.
He lifted himself upon wounded hands;
Father forgive them was His cry.

He was willing to pay the price;
It was love, true love, love more than kind.
No greater love, no greater friend;
The kind of love, from God's Valentine.
