The Beauty Of Spring

The Beauty Spring

Every little creature;
Every wondrous thing.
From evening skies to sunrise;
When all of nature sings.

Glory to the King of kings.

Glory to the King of kings;
Who formed each living thing.
Who gave us both night and day.
And the beauty of spring....
the beauty of spring.

The daffodils, yellow bright;
The hyacinth so blue.
The sweet scents of the springtime;
After winter is through.

Glory to the King of kings.

Glory to the King of kings;
Who formed each living thing.
Who gave each day a blessing;
And a reason, a wonderful reason,
 to sing.

The fluttering butterfly;
Upon its wings of gold.
The cascading of blossoms;
As they brightly unfold.

Glory to the King of kings.

Glory to the King of kings;
Who formed each living thing.
Who gave a smile from heaven;
When He gave us the spring....
beautiful spring.

Every little creature;
Ev'ry wondrous thing.
Glory to the King of kings;
Thank you God, Thank you God,
Thank you God,
for the spring.

Glory to the King of kings.

Spring Praise Song
Renamed Today 2021
----------

I thought about calling this poem
by a different name: Glory To The King Of Kings
or Splendorous Spring or Beautiful Spring

 1Choronicles
 23:5 Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith.
 25:3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.

2Chronicles
7:6 And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.
  20:19 And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high.
20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth
 29:30 Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

 Ezrah
3:10 And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel.

 Psalms
9:1  I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
  33:2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
 109:30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
  111:1 ¶ Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
 147:7 Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
147:20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
 31:7 For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

 Joel
 2:26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Sometimes

Sometimes

Sometimes joy’s river ceases to flow.
Sometimes dark clouds, loom down long and low.
Sometimes great storms, hold back the sun.
Sometimes you just want to hide or run.

Look onward to our heavenly home.
Remember His promise, you’re not alone.
Fly like a bird, on the winds of His grace.
Find sweet assurance in His embrace.

Sometimes life’s pains are hard to bear.
Sometimes our hearts groans deep in despair.
Sometimes shadows of death pass by.
Sometimes alone, we cry out, Why?

Take the hand of God’s merciful love;
Who calms the sea and sent His Dove.
The God of all that lives and breaths;
Who made the rocks, the winds, the seas,

Will lead you through your darkest night,
Will help you through the terrible fight.
He’ll hold you up and you will stand.
He’ll lead you through, hold tight His hand.

And as the rains and storm winds blow;
The peace of God will ease pains flow.
Hold fast to faith, the shield of power;
And know your God wants you to flower.

Sometimes, the greatest fruitful child;
Has suffered through the greatest test.
And though the pain takes time to heal;
Remember Child, God’s love is real.

All night will shine like a new day;
When storm clouds lift and drift away.
Through parting clouds light will appear;
Our God will ease our ev'ry fear.

His loving touch will brush our tears;
And heal all pain, from worldly years.
Forevermore sweet smiles will shine;
And all our cares be left behind.

The Butterfly
A man found a cocoon for a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through the little hole.
Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and could go no farther. Then the man decided to help the butterfly.
He took a pair of scissors and snipped the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily.
Something was strange. The butterfly had a swollen body and shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened. In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and deformed wings. It was never able to fly.
What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand, was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the small opening of the cocoon are God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life.
If God allowed us to go through all our life without any obstacles, that would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been.
Not only that, we could never fly.

Creations New Birth

Creations New Birth

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
(rewritten February 27th 2011)

Gardening is certainly;
A fav'rite thing to do;
Because I spend so much time,
thinking about you. (God)

Spring flowers blooming;
Each bird and honey bee;
Shows your love around us,
Oh so, naturally.

Winter snow is heaping now;
But soon it will be done.
All the snow will melt away,
and then creations fun.

The butterfly, the tulips;
Will colorize the scene.
And as the air grows warmer;
The trees and ground grow green.

The sweet smell of the flowers;
Freshen the new born world;
Reminding me of New Life,
Found in Christ our Lord.

A heart that's cold and lonely,
Dead and gone astray;
But when you shine in,Dear Lord ,
It's a brand new day.

When you gave us winter, Lord;
You knew what you had done.
When spring time breaks to new birth;
It’s a picture of your Son.

For when your Son shines in;
New Life forever blooms.
A new creature in Christ;
Where death no longer looms.

The birds sing sweet harmony,
All nature joins right in.
I'll remember Jesus Christ,
And sing more praise to Him.

Because death was brought to life,
and New Life came to sprout.
I can tell a dying world,
What New Life’s all about.

It's Simply by Mercy Alone - Corrected

It's Simply by Mercy Alone

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
August 8, 2010

It's simply by mercy alone;
God offers love from His throne;
To a world that's lost and blind.
He seeks to save, and yearns to find.

It's not of works, that one may boast;
Nor when one out gives the most.
He's calling now, come now to Him;
For ye must be born again.

Just like a new born butterfly;
Can see the world from the sky;
Your blinded eyes are opened wide;
When Jesus comes and lives inside.

It's simply by mercy alone;
He offered His Son to atone.
His blood was shed for humankind;
To break the curse of sin that binds.

It's not by Mary, nor by might;
Not baptism, not by sight.
He's calling now, come now to Him;
For ye must be born again.

Just like a new born butterfly;
Can see the world from the sky.
Your blinded eyes are opened wide;
When Jesus comes and lives inside.

It's simply by mercy alone;
Hellish pulls are overthrown.
For when you trust in Christ alone;
Salvation will become your own.

It's not by penance that one pays;
That keeps one safe on that great day.
He's calling now, come now to Him;
For ye must be born again.

Just like a new born butterfly;
Can see the world from the sky.
Your blinded eyes are opened wide;
When Jesus comes and lives inside.

It' s simply by mercy alone;
God blesses those who obey;.
Who make Him, their Lord and King;
And seeks His will for each day..

No need for some priestly father;
To forgive your deep dark sins.
for Jesus is the great high priest;
And lives within forgiven men.

Just like a new born butterfly;
Can see the world from the sky.
Your blinded eyes are opened wide;
When Jesus comes and lives inside.

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God

Eph 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Hebrews 4:14
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Mt 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Ps 13:5
But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
