Thee And Only Thee

Thee and Only Thee

Lord, fill  my heart with your presence;
Holy Word penetrate my essence.
Take away my anxiety;
Speak, for I'm attentive unto thee.

Put a song upon my heartstrings;
Oh what peace, what joy, your Spirit brings.
When we seek thee, when we love thee;
When we worship thee and only thee.

Within this world's tempestuous sea;
Help us keep eyes of faith on thee.
This world is hateful,  unfaithful;
But you dear God,  are unchangeable.

Praise your name your Holy name, dear Lord;
You're still the same, You're still the same.
Put a song upon my heartstrings;
Bring you glory to your holy name.

Lord, fill my heart with your blessing;
As I yield my being, confessing.
You are our strength and you are our stay;
That's why we can rejoice in you each day.

Put a song upon my heartstrings;
Oh what peace, and comfort, your Spirit brings.
When we seek thee, when we love thee;
When we worship thee and only thee.

Lord, You See Each Heart

Lord, You See Each Heart

I praise the Lord, my God, today;
With heart, with joy, with song.
I know there’s sorrows all around;
In you, I can be strong.

The darkness has grown darker now;
With hate, with doubt, with pride.
You seem to be the only friend;
In which I will confide.

Oh, Lord, you see inside each heart;
Just fill mine with much faith.
I know I’m far from perfect, Lord.
I’m grateful for your grace.

I have no other place of strength;
No other place of peace.
In you I’ve put my faith and trust;
It’s you I want to please.

I know at times I’ve felt angry;
Abandoned and unloved.
But forgiveness is part of you;
You are a snow white dove.

I praise the Lord, my God, today;
With heart, with joy, with song.
For though this world
brings grief and tears;
Your presence makes me strong.

My God's Love Was There

My God's Love Was There

His love lifted me;
From the sinking sands of sin.
I cried for His help;
I looked for a helping friend.

But none heard my cry;
Cared not if I lived or died.
There I took His hand;
Then He pulled me to His side.

His rescuing love;
Pulled me from the fire;
From the sinking mire;
God became my desire.

He led me, through truth;
His love healed my broken heart.
When this world of grief;
Wanted to tear my life apart.

But God's love was there;
In my grief, In my despair,
Just when I thought no one cared;
My God's love was there.

In the darkest night;
Where there was no shining light.
I'm so glad my God;
Pulled me from the devil's snare.

But God's love was there;
In my grief, In my despair.
There was His Hand.
God became my desire.

A Song About Salvation

January 14th, 2017

Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

Mathew 14:29 - 33
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
 Then they that were in the ship came and worshiped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

The Kind Of Love That Will Never End

The Kind Of Love That Will Never End

When thorns tore through his sweaty brow;
When with faces, they jeered with hateful growls.
Beating Him beyond recognition;
Submitting to God, He was being our friend.

He was willing to pay the price;
It was love, true love, there was no other way.
No greater love, no greater friend;
The kind of love, that will never end.

 When the first nail was pounded down,
When the first drop of blood fell to the ground;
When His hands stretched from end to end;
When He was dying  there for our sin.

He was willing to pay the price;
It was love, true love, when he gave his life.
No greater love, no greater friend;
The kind of love, that will never end.

When the spear was thrust into His side;
When the Son of God began to die.
He lifted himself upon wounded hands;
Father forgive them was His cry.

He was willing to pay the price;
It was love, true love, love more than kind.
No greater love, no greater friend;
The kind of love, from God's Valentine.

Jesus Is The Peacefulness

Jesus Is The Peacefulness

Jesus is the peacefulness:
That  lives in my heart.
And if I seem to get worried:
I know where to start.

Down on my knees a prayin'
And askin' the Lord.
To give me the faith I need;
To survive this world.

Jesus is the peacefulness:
That  lives in my heart.
When I start to feel anxious:
I know where to start.

Singing a song to Jesus:
And praisin' his name.
For the hope that He giveth:
That He's still the same.

Jesus is the peacefulness:
That keeps me going on
Jesus brings me joy somehow;
 When seems hope is gone.

Jesus is the peacefulness:
That  lives in my heart.
And when I feel fearful:
I know where to start.

Remember God's faithfulness;
Through scriptures been read.
How he can move mountains;
Raise sick from their bed.

His love has sustained me;
Though I've felt apart.
Jesus is the peacefulness;
That  lives in my heart.

Even In September

Even In September

September has the beginnings of death;
But also new beginnings of life.
Many September flowers fade away.
But many are the new sprouts of life.
And if winter holds off long enough;
We will see new blooms again.
Even in September.
-------------------------
Life is always changing and people too.
Some things come to an end.
But God always brings to us something new.
A thought, a goal, a friend.
Sometimes the things we once knew fade away;
And then new things grow.
Hopes and dreams of tomorrow's sunshine;
And more of life to know.
Even in September.

Jesus Is The Greatest Treasure

Jesus Is The Greatest Treasure

Jesus is the greatest treasure;
A heart and life could know.
Within our heart He will abide;
Then treasures, there will grow.

Bright jewels of love and gentleness;
His love and patience too.
A joy that fills our heart with song;
And strength to get us through.

Jesus is the greatest treasure;
A heart and life could know.
He gave His life on Calvary;
To wash us white as snow.

We know Jesus is our treasure;
When we trust Him and obey.
Then  jewels of peace and kindness;
Will fill our life each day.

Harvest the jewels of His goodness;
Resist a life of sin.
He gives us spiritual treasures ;
When we put our trust Him.

Follow The Heart Of Jesus

Follow The Heart Of Jesus

Song: Susan Y Nikitenko
 June 22nd, 2012

Follow!  follow the heart of Jesus;
Live by His Holy Word.
Rejoice!  Rejoice in Him forever;
Let your spirit be stirred.

Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Be a light in this world.
Reaching! reaching out in fervent love ;
Blessing our righteous Lord.

Follow in His goodness and His strength;
With hope and much respect.
Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Following in His steps.

Follow in His grace and His mercy;
His love will never part.
Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Holding Him near your heart.

Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Stay faithful and steadfast.
Look up! Look up! until His coming;
We will see Him at last.

Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Just follow in the Way.
Rejoice!  Rejoice in Him dear children;
Follow Him day to day.

Follow in His goodness and His strength
With hope and much respect.
Follow! follow the heart of Jesus
Following in His steps.

Follow in His grace and His mercy;
His love will never part.
Follow! follow the heart of Jesus;
Holding Him near your heart.

Follow!  follow the heart of Jesus.

Show Me Your Will

Treasure Box ~ Knowing Gods Will

Show Me Your Will

By: Susan Y Nikitenko

October 2nd, 2011

God says it plain;   As plain as day;
To follow truth and live His way.

Keep your heart clean, send forth the Light.
Live for Jesus;   Choose what is right.

Surely God grieves;   When He looks down.
In each little;   City and town.

Seeing laws passed;   That break our world.
It must anger;   Our Holy Lord.

What can I do?   I ask today.
I don't know how.   But I can pray.

Little babies;   Are thrown away.
In this evil;   Most wicked day.

Men and women;   Profess to love.
But will not serve;   Our God above.

One man, one wife;   Gods family plan.
Has been attacked ;   By evil man.

Oh, the children;   That suffer so.
That have no place;   No place to go.

No mothers care;   There's no one there.
To hold, to love;   To calm the fear.

A homeless man;   Upon the streets.
Begging mercy;   With tear stained cheeks.
Many faces;   I see them now.
Lord, why can't I;   Help them somehow?

What can I do?   What can I say?
Oh, guide me Lord;   Please, right away.

Show me your will;   Where should I be?
What is your plan;   Your plan for me?

Open the doors;   Show me the way.
I don't know how;   But I can pray.

** THE WILL OF GOD **

The will of God will never take you,
Where the grace of God cannot keep you.
Where the arms of God cannot support you,
Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs,
Where the power of God cannot endow you.

The will of God will never take you,
Where the spirit of God cannot work through you,
Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you,
Where the army of God cannot protect you,
Where the hands of God cannot mold you.

The will of God will never take you,
Where the love of God cannot enfold you,
Where the mercies of God cannot sustain you,
Where the peace of God cannot calm your fears,
Where the authority of God cannot overrule for you.

The will of God will never take you,
Where the comfort of God cannot dry your tears,
Where the Word of God cannot feed you,
Where the miracles of God cannot be done for you,
Where the omnipresence of God cannot find you.

Creations New Birth

Creations New Birth

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
(rewritten February 27th 2011)

Gardening is certainly;
A fav'rite thing to do;
Because I spend so much time,
thinking about you. (God)

Spring flowers blooming;
Each bird and honey bee;
Shows your love around us,
Oh so, naturally.

Winter snow is heaping now;
But soon it will be done.
All the snow will melt away,
and then creations fun.

The butterfly, the tulips;
Will colorize the scene.
And as the air grows warmer;
The trees and ground grow green.

The sweet smell of the flowers;
Freshen the new born world;
Reminding me of New Life,
Found in Christ our Lord.

A heart that's cold and lonely,
Dead and gone astray;
But when you shine in,Dear Lord ,
It's a brand new day.

When you gave us winter, Lord;
You knew what you had done.
When spring time breaks to new birth;
It’s a picture of your Son.

For when your Son shines in;
New Life forever blooms.
A new creature in Christ;
Where death no longer looms.

The birds sing sweet harmony,
All nature joins right in.
I'll remember Jesus Christ,
And sing more praise to Him.

Because death was brought to life,
and New Life came to sprout.
I can tell a dying world,
What New Life’s all about.

Jesus Is My Favorite Valentine

Jesus Is My Favorite Valentine
Children's Song:

Jesus Is My Favorite Valentine;
He is with me ev'ry day -All the time.
I pray that He'll be the one who shines;
I'm so glad, So very glad,  He's mine.
I'm so glad, Jesus is  my Valentine.
I'm so glad, Jesus is  my Valentine.

Jesus Is My Favorite Valentine;
He's full of goodness,  so very kind.
And He is the best friend you'll ever find
I'm so glad, So very glad,  He's mine.
I'm so glad, Jesus is  my Valentine.
