I Can Always Depend On You - Text
I Can Always Depend On You
I praise you because of the great love you have shown;
You gave your all, you gave yourself.
Your love moved a mountain that could never be moved.
Your love to me is much more than wealth.
The world goes around without making a sound ;
The sky is blue and always new;
But still your love is the greatest gift I have found;
The greatest miracle is you.
The stars can sing, we see them twink-le-ing;
Upon a midnight dark and clear.
Hear the waterfall in forests thick, so tall.
But you are the greatest gift of all.
We can hear the hoot of a hoot owl call;
Nature's sounds of all creation.We can hear the wind, as it is whistling by;
Lord, you are my habitation.
When a storm passes by on a cold dark night;
I know I can find rest in you.
Because you are the rock of my salvation;
I can always depend on you.
The world goes around without making a sound ;
The sky is blue and always new;
But still your love is the greatest gift I have found;
The greatest miracle is you.
I can always depend on you.

Let Not My Branch Lay Barren Lord - Corrected

Autumn Poem Poster
Let Not My Branch Lay Barren Lord
Oh Lord, May I abide in you;
May my life bear lasting fruit.
Forgive my heart, let me not doubt;
I can do all things in you.
Like the joy of a summer morn;
A field filled with sweet new corn;
I know how joyful we will be.
If we will abide in thee.
There's faith that makes the weakest strong;
Like a mustard seed so small.
In Christ, we grow and learn and be;
While abiding constantly.
Let not my branch lay barren Lord;
Fill my baskets with your peace;
Fill my barns with fruits of blessing;
Your righteousness may increase.
I pray my fields do not lay waste;
My hands not labor in vain.
Fill my arms with fruit from the fields;
Lest my tears fall like Autumn rains.
No greater love we've ever known;
Then the love you've gladly shown.
Like a vine filled with pleasant blooms;
Show me how to love like you.

No greater love, no greater love, than we have ever known.
No greater love than the love you've gladly shown.

If Our Hearts Were A Garden
If Our Hearts Were A Garden
If our hearts were a garden;
For everyone to see.
There is nothing more beautiful;
Than a garden of peace.
Not a garden of hatefulness;
Not a garden of strife.
Not a garden of jealousy;
But a prayerful life.
If our hearts were a garden;
Would they see Jesus there.
As they walked amongst the harvest;
Would they see the Lord's care.
Bless-ed are the peacemakers;
Who seek to please the Lord.
Who's garden has blessed many;
In this God forsaken world.
If our hearts were a garden;
For everyone to see.
I would pray they'd see Jesus;
Alive in you and in me.

What A Beautiful Musical Fall - Poem
What A Beautiful Musical Fall
The Autumn months bring pleasure and smiles;
As we remember, how God has blessed.
Both now and throughout our years gone by;
The wonderful things that we love best.
Baskets of apples, of wheat and the crops;
The apple cider that warms our chills.
All of the squirrels collecting for winter;
And the hayride through the pumpkin field .
With colorful leaves in colorful trees;
We thank-God, Give thanks for it all;
For the harvest, for the blessings so loved;
What a beautiful, musical fall.
Then coming down, like an orchestra sound;
The wind and the leaves dance together.
And the smell of baked bread catches our
nose;
The fall has such comforting weather.
The pleasantry's of Autumn seem endless;
The corn stalks standing tall in a row.
All the different pumpkins and gourds;
And the bright mums the harvesters grow.
Then comes a crisp day in the Autumn months
We gather together as night falls.
And sing songs around the bonfire;
What a beautiful, musical fall.
With family and friends who love and bless;
With laughter and life's sweet enjoyment,
Just to be around them brings our lives joy;
Feelings, better than any present.
We will enter His gates with thanksgiving
praise;
We will sing of His glory and his grace.
We will remember the goodness of God;
And rejoice in His glorious ways.
A friend plays his guitar and says "sing
along";
We sing along while the crickets call;
With the many sounds of Autumn's night;
What a beautiful, musical fall.

Returning To Our First Love - Jude 1:21, Thessalonians 3:3
Returning
To Our First Love
I was walking in the park and I was thinking about my heart
garden. This past year I've had to struggle with a decision that
I made last year. I planted some double
purple bell flowers in my garden knowing
very well that they tend to take over.
They are very beautiful and go so well with my firework primrose.
They are just such trouble makers though, I've had to work continuously
trying to keep them under control. They
just keep coming back no matter how hard I work. I still love them, I just don't want them
getting into everything. They tend to
kill the other plants around them because their roots take over.
I had to partially dig up my garden and plant new seed. My garden started blooming with tall orange
Cosmos flowers. They look very nice especially
because they are still blooming and they go well with the pumpkins and mums set out
for the fall season.
Sometimes in life we allow things into our hearts that we
shouldn't let in. Bitterness,
discontentment, or perhaps loving something more than we love God. The longer we leave it there, the more the
roots take over. This is why we need to
keep ourselves aware of what is growing in our hearts, or life or family, or
government, because all these areas of life can be overtaken by a silent enemy
and the enemy can seem very harmless and beautiful. If left alone to grow it will restrict any
other growth. Just as I had to start
again in the part of my heart garden that was taken over. Sometimes we have to start digging up the
problem, in order to replant in the damaged areas. This takes putting God first again, returning
to our first love. Some things died in
my heart garden, but with love and care my heart garden is blooming again.
My heart garden is going to need regular maintenance because the struggle will always be there. There will always be something trying to take over. Our lives and hearts need the same care and God gives us the instructions for all our maintenance needs in The Word Of God.
Jude 1:21
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of
our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Thessalonians 3:3
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

My Precious Friend
My Precious Friend
Praise You Lord;
For all your love.
All of You;
Oh Holy Dove.
For all your love.
All of You;
Oh Holy Dove.
Praise You Lord;
Forever more.
All my heart;
To you I pour.
Praise Your name;
Risen One.
Our loving Lord;
Perfect Son.
With my tears;
Upon your feet.
Thoughts of you;
Are only sweet.
Praise again;
And then again;
To You Lord;
My precious Friend.

Summer Soon Ends
Summer Soon Ends
By Susan Y Nikitenko
September 2009
Summer is beautiful, arrayed with the Black Eyed Susan,
shimmering, with seas of daisy fields.
It swarms with bees, bugs and butterflies that dance, swirl and spin;
And the cherry trees bring forth their yield.
The delicious smells of picnic cookouts fill the noon day;
Family’s reunions meet in the park.
Wonderful sounds of laughter can be heard from all around;
And the chime of horseshoes until dark.
Playfully children catch the evening hour fireflies;
The crickets cry out with songs of cheer.
One can hear a guitar playing on a neighbor’s front porch;
And the frogs deep croaking by the pier.
Summer soon comes to an end and life starts to fade away ;
The seasons come and the seasons go.
We have health and vitality for only a season;
To work the plow, to water, to grow.
For the season will soon end, health will soon fall away;
Like the colorful leaves in the fall.
So work the ground, be busy planting seed while there is time.
And extend your hand with truth to all.
Live summer, giving your youth to the cause of Christ our King
Your best years spent, your best years given,
In serving , in loving, in worshiping, in honoring;
Because by grace you are forgiven.

Soon Our Jesus Will Appear
Soon Our Jesus Will Appear
Autumn is a fanciful season;
The leaves a colorful glow.
The squirrels gather for winter;
Before the cold winter’s snow.
Pumpkins brighten grandmas front porch;
Scarecrows cheer each passerby.
Harvest cooking fills the autumn air;
Apple tarts and pumpkin pie.
The wooly bear forecasts the weather;
The flowers of summer fade.
Bringing forth life in a tiny seed;
A miracle that is heaven made.
Memories and laughter fill my heart;
When I think about it all.
The yearly hayride until dark;
And all the fun in the Fall.
I am reminded this time of year;
We must gather and prepare.
Because harvest time is ending soon;
Soon our Jesus will appear.
And though fall is beautifully designed;
And holds a place in my heart.
There’s nothing like my home awaiting;
Filled with God’s celestial art.
If we fill our lives with goodness;
And plant God’s seeds ‘long the way.
When the autumn of life has ended;
They will bloom a sweet bouquet.

The Fair
The Fair
a little humor
Gourds and pumpkins, apples too;
Gourds and pumpkins, apples too;
A fall festivity.
Corn and stalks, hay bale blocks;
Displays of artistry.
All around are fairground sounds;
And everywhere you go.
There are people wandering;
Enjoying rides and shows.
Venders treats and meats galore;
They're smells are in
the air.
Not to mention cows and sheep;
You'll find the barnyard there.
Aunt Betty's blue ribbon pie;
It won again this year.
Children from the 4H group;
Are running here and there.
Pens and pencils, paper pads;
mints and fingernail files.
Commercial booths, handouts;
It seems they go for miles.
Gifts and gadgets are for sale;
But some things are for free.
Just like the spinal screening;
That was offered to me.
Politicians shake your hand;
And give a pleasant grin.
Then you get a plastic bag;
To put your free stuff in.
High above the ground you see;
The giant ferris wheel .
And hear screaming from the rides;
That give your heart a thrill.
Cotton candy is the best;
But I've had to say no.
Though I really love it;
I just don't need to grow.
When I was a little girl;
Around seven or so.
I was given a small book;
A yellow smile aglow.
Though it was a little thing;
A seed was planted here.
I remember to this day;
That someone really cared.
You get tired at the fair;
Exhausted from the fun.
But you have fond memories;
When all is said and done.
September 4th, 2011
(Song)
(Song)
It's been a while since I've ridden any rides at the fair. The majority of my time is giving out the gospel message along with my family. But one of these days I'll go just for the rides and the
car derby.
car derby.
There is so much I could say about the fair. I can say, the most exciting thing about the fair is when I get to witness to others about Jesus. When you see the light come on in their eyes. When they understand for the first time how much Jesus really does love them. That's the best time ever. Because our hearts rejoice.
Question:
Someone told me the smile book has been around for fifty years or so. I just assumed they were right. I know the smile was there when I was little.
Does anyone know for sure how long Amazing Grace Missions has
been giving out those little books?

Autumn's Song Is The Harvest Song
Autumn's Song Is The Harvest Song
The garden leaves fall to the ground:
My face looks up while they fall down.
Without making one single sound;
Like flowers they lay all around.
Leaves whisking here and whipping there;
While Autumn winds sing Autumn's song.
God's creatures they must sing along;
While they're gathering all day long.
The Summer flowers are faded now;
The gardens need much love and care.
Winter knocks at the door of fall;
"Gather the Harvest! Gather it All!"
Autumn's song is the harvest song;
Can you hear the warning winds?
Calling now for you to repent:
Before the Autumn season ends.
Jesus is coming to gather;
He calls to the wandering ones.
The winds of harvest are changing
The will of the Father be done.
O come reap the harvest of hope;
A bountiful harvest of love.
Jesus our Saviors is coming;
To take us to our home above.
"Gather the harvest Lord, gather it all;"
The trumpet of heaven leads this call.
The leaves are falling, heavens calling;
"Gather the harvest , gather it all."
We've worked, we've sown and we've grown;
The garden is ready to glean.
And now winter cries out, Prepare!
Jesus is very, very near.
Jesus is very, very near.
Winter cries out, Prepare!

I Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mark 13:32
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Colors Of Blessing - By: Susan Y Nikitenko
Treasure Box ~ Blessings
Colors Of Blessing
By: Susan Y Nikitenko 2009
Revised 2010 - 2011
Could the angels have special jobs;
Like painting leaves of fall?
Can’t mighty God do anything?
He has created all.
Perhaps angels spread forth their wings;
To paint the swirls of fall.
Upon the trees of mountain tops;
And on the forests tall.
A swish of orange, a splash of gold;
A whirl of autumn red.
Every creature great and small;
I’m sure would lift their head.
From tree to tree each color grows;
and spreads across the land.
A gift from God to be enjoyed;
Made by his perfect hand.
Each angel flying here and there;
Spreading colors of joy.
And when leaves flutter to the ground;
It makes a rainbow toy.
Children jumping, children laughing;
In the colorful mounds.
Up pops a smiling little face;
With all the fun-filled sounds.
And like a child I too will laugh;
I’ll jump right in with glee.
And enjoy these lovely blessings;
He’s given you and me.
Orange leaves of family laughter;
Red leaves a promise of grace.
Yellow a golden forever;
In the arms of God's embrace
I’m not too old to play in leaves;
Too old to have some fun.
I’ll roll around and giggle too;
and I’ll have joy in God's Son.
For He fills my heart with laughter;
He is so good you see.
He’s painted this, a lovely world;
It is inside of me.
Jumping daily in His presence;
A colorful array.
Jump into Joy, Jump into peace;
By trusting Him every day.
Jump happily, into kindness;
Jump with glee into love.
Be content and be hopeful;
Looking to Him above.
Leave a lasting essence of hope;
Leave a lasting essence of hope;
To all eyes watching you.
A rainbow of blessing awaits;
Come, jump into it too.
( Let's Color Our Fall Coloring Pages To Raise Money.)

Today and All Days Are Days For Praising
Today and All Days Are Days For Praising
Today and all days are days for praising;
Praise on a sad day, for praise brings peace.
Praise on a day , you feel like not praising;
For praising heals and brings sweet release.
Praise in the sunset and in the storm;
Praising stunts the powers of evil.
Prepares the way for great miracles;
An abundant moving upheaval.
Our God reigns on high in majesty;
and nothing catches Him by surprise.
He knows all, sees all and directs all;
He knows all the where's and all the whys.
So praise and give Him thanks in all things ;
Sing songs of Calvary and rejoice.
He is worthy of both honor and praise;
Let us burst forth in harmonious voice.
Holy, righteous true, and forgiving;
Perfect, unfailing love He's bestowed.
Praise Him forever our Jesus, our love;
As we walk along this chosen road.
Today and all days are days for praising;
Praise on a glad day, To God up above.
Just praise, just keep praising each day;
our Father is listening with love.
