It Pleases God When You Do

It Pleases God When You Do

And grab your broom.
Then go clean;
From room to room.

Dust the table;
Then dust the lamp.
Clean with a rag;
That's lightly damp.

Wash the dishes;
And counters too.
Until they shine;
like they are new.

Wash the tub;
Then wash the sink.
A dirty bathroom;
Always stinks.

Clean  the toilet;
Clean the spout.
Clean your house;
Inside and out.

Work until;
The job is through.
It pleases God;
When you do.

Don't You Hear Him Calling?

Deep in Thought

Don't You Hear Him Calling?

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
August 25th, 2011

God knows all your failures;
He witnessed all your sin.
But yet He still calls you;
To repent and come to Him.

His hand is reaching now;
Oh, won't you take His hand?
Jesus is the answer;
From sins destructive sands.

He's a merciful God;
Filled with love, life and peace.
For all those that love Him;
His blessings will not cease.

Will you trust in the Lord?
Will you turn from this world?
Give your life to Jesus;
You're so loved and adored.

Don't you hear Him calling?
Come to me! Come to me!
Oh, don't you know He loves you?
He longs to make you free.

He wants to heal your spirit;
That's been broken, my friend.
He will surely forgive;
Every sin you have sinned.

He'll cast it far away;
In the deepest deep sea.
Oh, don't you know He cares;
and loves you graciously?

God knows all your failures;
He witnessed all your sin.
But yet He still calls you;
To repent and come to Him.

His hand is reaching now;
His voice is calling, come!
Forgiveness is offered;
Through Jesus Christ, God's Son.

He wants to heal your spirit;
That's been broken, my friend.
He will surely forgive;
Every sin you have sinned.

Don't you hear Him calling?
Come to me! Come to me!
Oh, don't you know He loves you?
He longs to make you free.

One Of His Beautiful Creations

One Of His Beautiful Creations
     Though there are some very beautiful people in this world.  What matters is what's on the inside.  To God beauty is a far different thing than the world pictures.  God looks at the heart and His judgment is not on the outward appearance.    That does not mean we should neglect our appearance or make our appearance resemble a worldly way.   All people are unique and that is a beauty in its self, because no two are exactly the same.  It's true a face could look the same, but no one owns your particular face it is still your own and God knew you before you were born.  God loves you no matter what you look like on the outside. God created only one you...that makes you a work of art, one of His beautiful creations.
Look at yourself through His eyes.

An Easter Prayer

An Easter Prayer

 Oh, Lord you give a song in the night.
While my head is on my pillow;
Your Holy Word brings me comfort and light;
Such a gentle peaceful  billow.

Knowing your love is unchangable -

and knowing you are merciful.
Brings me to tears  of gratitude;
For a fountain so beautiful.

A fountain of love, a fountain of grace;

Your pardon  flowing from Calvary.
For wretched  poor sinners just like me;
A fountain flowing abundantly.

A fountain of life paid for in blood;

Holy blood, perfect  blood, Your blood.
You died a torturous death that day;
 Yet your lips still cried out in love.

A victorious fountain of hope;

Eternal life offered to mankind.
To the lowest of lowest  sinner;
A breaking of fetters that bind.

A resurrection to a new life;

A new hope, a new name, a new day.
And as you arose from deaths grave;
So is the soul for which you save.

A fountain, Easter's story unfolds;

Living water so pure and free;
The purpose for which you were born.
To die, to live and to redeem.

As I close my eyes in whispered prayer;

Oh, may I praise you the night long.
In both my heart and all my dreams;
May you be the theme of my song.

Blessings From Heaven Are Flowing

Blessings From Heaven Are Flowing

By: Susan y Nikitenko
January 18th, 2011

Blessings from heaven are flowing;
God's goodness is constantly showing.
In so many ways, He brightens our days;
His love and His grace He's bestowing.
Blessings from heaven are flowing.

Blessings, so many blessings to know;
Each day they continually grow.
Like flowers, like trees, like rivers and seas;
Like family, likes friends that love to the end.
Blessings from heaven are flowing.

Why see the bad, when His blessings are near?
Why live in darkness and why live in fear?
For He faithfully loves, and sees from above;
His children are blest and are promised sweet rest.
Blessings from heaven are flowing.

Blessings, so many blessings we see;
When we look past the grey in our day.
We are most awesomely blest, through ev'ry test;
If we trust His control, with our whole might and soul.
Blessings from heaven are flowing.

Easter

Easter

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
2011

Easter is a time of remembering;
All that Jesus Christ has done.
Sharing, caring and celebrating;
The vic'try that day, that was won.
Eternal Life was provided by Him;
"Rejoice! One and all, in God's Son."

Easter Is a time of remembering;
A risen Christ victorious.
Our Savior won over death and hell;
The thought of it is glorious.
Eternal love has conquered the curse;
"Rejoice!  For what he's done for us.

Easter Is...

Easter Is...
By: Susan Y. Nikitenko

More than just bunnies and Easter eggs;
More than the flowers of spring.
More than our gathering families;
More than the cheer that it brings.

Jesus arose victorious;
Over sin, hell and the grave.
He opened the door of life to all;
And longs for all to be saved.

Tulips and daffodils stand bright;
The birds build nests while they sing.
Children laughing with lighted smiles;
All these, are gifts from our King.

But Easter is a new beginning;
New hope for a hungry soul.
It stands for something amazing;
A broken life can be made whole.

\
John 6:35
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life:
he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

What A Day! - Easter Poem

What a Day!

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
2008

I’ll behold your wondrous face;
And thank-you for your loving grace.
I will hold your nail scarred hand;
In that bright and perfect land.

I’ll shout out praises to your name;
You saved my soul from hells hot flame.
So when I see the golden street;
I’ll fall down at your nail scarred feet.

When the day comes I have died;
I’ve seen the scar upon your side.
And my tears are wiped away;
Find myself in endless day.

Free from this worlds dark ugly sin;
Never looking back again.
What a day! What a day that will surely be;
When I’m with the one who died for me.

Love Rebuilds Again

Treasure Box ~
Rebuilding The Broken

Love Rebuilds Again

by: Susan Y Nikitenko

2009

Once a beauty, shiny, new;
A handsome lookin' ride.
Leather seats and fully loaded;
Smelt so good inside.

It's traveled far, has lots of miles;
Been through rain and snow.
It's been through sticky little hands;
And sometimes wouldn't go.

One day, a bashing crash;
Left it mangled, caved.
Brought it to a body shop;
In hopes it would be saved.

The specialist, worked and worked;
Until the job was through,
And now this "62" corvette;
Is sparklin', just like new.

God, He has a body shop.
Christians work for Him.
Our business is rebuilding lives;
Crushed and bashed by sin.

When we view an awful crash;
A brother, caught in sin.
Instead of judging, in our pride;
Love, rebuilds again.

A crash, could be a loss of faith;
Or sin, performed in haste.
A crash, could be, an angry heart;
In grief, some hurt now faced.

When life comes down, in a crash;
And life to them, its end.
That's the time, they need us most;
To be a Christian friend.

I wrote this after reading a sermon called
“ Rebuilding The Broken”

If I Could - Card Verses

If I Could
If I could take away your pain and your sorrow;
I would.
If I could bring you joy for all you tomorrows;
I would.
If I could walk with you along your hard road;
I would.
If I could be there to help carry your load;
I would.
If I could embrace you for a moment or two;
I would.
If I could be there to love and comfort you;
I would.
If I could speak words that soothed your sadness;
I would.
If somehow I could fill your world with gladness;
I would.
Though my curcumstances limit me from exspressing my care.
My heart is constantly lifting you in fervent prayer.
I love you. You mean the world to me.

Run, Run, Run to the Lord

Run, Run, Run to the Lord
(Song) By: Susan Y Nikitenko

Lost in the darkness of night;
Tired of the toil and fight.
Walking along in self’s night;
Longing for a life that is right.

I’ve traveled this world all alone;
Self destruction my stepping stone.
I want something different and new.
Today I’m trusting, today I’m trusting,
today I’m trusting in you.

Run, run, run to the Lord.
Turn, turn, turn from the world.
I've, raised, raised up my voice.
Today- I make Jesus my choice.

Sing, sing, sing out His praise
Walk, walk, walk in His ways.
Today I'm saved, I'm saved from my shame.
Washed now I’m never, washed now I’m never,
Washed now I’m never the same.

I Adore You

You are a ray of sunshine in my life;

Oh, How Much He Cares - Little Lost Lamb

Oh, How Much He Cares
By: Susan Nikitenko

2009

Little, stubborn straying lamb;
Come back to the fold.
Wolves are prowling all around;
And the night is cold.

Hear the shepherd far away;
Calling out your name?
Instead of wondering all about;
Cry out and exclaim.

See the Shepherd drawing near?
Now stuck, you’re in a snare.
He puts you in His loving arms;
And holds you tight with care.

Safe now, in His arms of love.
He’s joyful all the way.
Brings you safely to the fold;
Resting now you lay.

Are you wand’ring, are you weary;
Like the little lamb?
Are you caught and can’t break loose?
In a sinful jam?

Cry out now to Him above.
Rest upon His grace.
He’s drawing now so very near.
See now, His loving face?

See now, How much He loves you?
Oh, how much  He cares.
He journeyed out into the night;
To save you from deaths snare.

Luke !9:10
He came to seek and to save that which was lost.
