There is no greater joy than living a life fully surrendered to Jesus Christ. But before we can truly give Him our whole heart, we must first know Him as our Savior. Without salvation, our hearts remain bound by sin, unable to fully embrace the love, grace, and truth of Christ.
The Word of God declares:
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" — Romans 3:23
We cannot cleanse ourselves, nor can we earn salvation through good works. It is only through the precious blood of Jesus Christ that we are redeemed.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." — John 3:16
To receive this gift of eternal life, we must follow the ABCs of Salvation:
A – Admit that you are a sinner.
Sin separates us from God, and we must acknowledge our need for a Savior.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" — Romans 3:23
B – Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again.
Salvation is found in Christ alone, through His sacrifice on the cross.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." — Romans 5:8
C – Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Salvation is a personal decision—one that requires faith and trust in Him.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." — Romans 10:9
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, today is the day of salvation. Surrender your heart to Him, knowing that only through Him can you truly live a life devoted to God.
The invitation is open, the Savior is calling—will you trust Him today?

This is a personal letter to you whoever you are. If you are reading it, it is for you. The Bible teaches us all the things that are in this note. They are just written into this song. The Bible says, that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. God deals with each one of us personally, When you know him as your Savior it is a personal relationship. That is why I used the word you. That personal relationship with God really begins when you believe in, his love for you. Can you believe in his forgiveness for you? When you believe that what he did at the cross was for you and that He arose from the dead, He will make you alive in Him. He conquered death, He conquered the curse of our sin. He definitely loves us so.
This is to prove to you this can be sung and help those playing an instrument by ear.

Why should Christ matter when the world seems to be falling apart? One, this world is not forever and the life we live here is not forever. Our life is just a small tip of a very small part of eternity. We all know we will all one day die. Some people do not like to hear about this, but we are faced with it more so as we hear each day of another death from the dreadful coronavirus.
The reason Christ should matter is, that the devil likes to keep this world preoccupied with problems. There are many issues that people argue about day after day. They are being preoccupied and frightened. They have been pulled from churches and life seems unstable. This may leave many young people without the light of the Lord. Christ needs to outshine every problem, every obstacle. Why! because life is not forever.
Though there are many important issues in life that need to be addressed. We can not forget Christ as the center of our being. We do not want to communicate to our children that problems and worldly issues should govern and demand our full attention. Christ is to be given the preeminence. All lives matter and they should be important enough for us to give the Good News of Christ. It is interesting to think about what is happening. The devil must be the happiest fellow. He sees churches closing their doors, people living in fear, and withdrawing from one another. He likes all the ruckus and trouble stirring. He likes all the hate and worry. The truth is, when death comes knocking at your door, you then will know what really mattered, but It will be too late. He knows how to keep you right where He wants you. Mad at somebody. Mad at the world, mad at politics, mad at God. Scared to death. He's happy you're making your kids mad at people, because when your mad it makes them mad too. Whatever it is, whether it's not liking the pastor or over color or race. He knows how to keep them in His grip. Whether it be outrage or whether it be deception. Whether it be pleasures of life or ever sorrowing depression. Anything just to keep them away from
Christ. That's what the devil likes. He wants to takes as many to hell with him as he can.
I remember an old Pastor I had, He's in heaven now. He read a line from a poem. "Only one life soon past, only what's done for Christ will last." We will face death, we are not promised tomorrow. Our bodies will die and our soul will live forever. This world will vanish to us. There will be a new existence.
Those that trusted Christ for salvation will live forever in heavenly places, ever to be with the Lord.
Those that forsook the Way of The Lord, those who rejected the Christ of our salvation, their eyes will be opened to understand, Christ mattered most of all.
Then will be too late to tell your children that Christ matters most of all. They've been taught He's not as important as other issues of life. They've learned a different way. They may never hear about THE WAY. This world is changing and it has darkened the hearts of many. There are many worthy things to fight for, and many are not. We need to be careful to give Christ first place in importance. We need to live in the fear of the Lord our God. He has power over death and hell.
We are facing death more than ever. Corona Virus has been used by the devil to take people before their time. I know one thing - they are aware of where they are right now. Some are thinking I want to go back and warn my kids. - but it will be too late. They are in hell and they are living in a torturous existence. Only God knows where they are. While we are alive there is hope.
This life matters but what matters most is what happens after we die. Our Bible teaches us we can know 100% sure when we die if we will go to heaven.
In 1 John 5:11-13 - Its words teach us that without Christ
(The Son Of God) we cannot have life. This is talking of eternal life. This only comes to those who believe upon the
Son of God. He's the only WAY of salvation. Not of works we have done, It is what He has done for us. In these verses, it tells us that we can know if we have eternal life. Eternal Life means we will go to heaven when we die. All this happens through belief and acceptance of His truth.
Christ lived a perfect life. Was crucified and died for us taking upon himself our punishment. He resurrected from the dead.
He has power over life and death. He came to this earth for the purpose of making a way. Making a way for you and me to become his child. If we do not accept Christ we do not have life and we are not his child. He has made salvation available to all but He wants you to call upon His name and ask for His gift of forgiveness to the saving of your soul.
Does Christ, matter? Forever Matters, knowing you and your family are safe in the arms of Christ Jesus - matters.
God does not discriminate or look at color - He wants you to believe upon the Son of God and repent from the things of this world. The Bible tells us, Our righteousness is as filthy rags, but Christ in us is righteous.
Will you believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ, friends. He loves you that's why He made a way. He doesn't want anyone to go to hell, He wants you to call upon Him and ask for the gift of his forgiveness to be applied to your life. His blood was shed for you. He took your place of punishment.
John 3:15-18
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Ask the Lord right now. He's Listening.
It is not too late for you.. any color, any age, any person. He saves sinners. Today is the day of salvation. This may be your last chance.
Christ matters most of all.

This Is Far From Perfect But It Gives You Some Idea
How It Goes.
He = The Only True God
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
1Thesalonians 1:9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

Psalms 119: 123- 176
Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.
Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name. Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.
Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.
. Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.
Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful. My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words. Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights. The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.
I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.
I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.
They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.
Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
. Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.
Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.
Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.
I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.
Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.
Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.
Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.
Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
1 John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
2 John 1:7
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Mark 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Heal the lame, let us exclaim, God still can.
For without Him, we are lame, we are blind.
We are broken, we are deaf, we are dead.
Until quickened by His truth, in heart and mind....
Made Alive In Christ.

January 14th, 2017 Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
Mathew 14:29 - 33
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
Then they that were in the ship came and worshiped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

If someone were to ask me "How do people acquire salvation?," It would not be by living good enough. People who never enter His rest, will do many good works, to earn their way to heaven. They still will never live good enough. Though this is commendable, from a human standpoint.
God's word tells us, "Our righteousness is like filthy rags".
That's why God did everything for us at Calvary. We simply need to trust that His love led Him to take care of it for us. God sent his Son out of His great love. He paid the price for us and that made all those that trust, believing upon Christ, good enough. We can rest in knowing
that we are not good enough and will never be good enough, to make it into heaven on our own.
It's all about what Christ did at his death and at his resurrection. He did the work required for salvation. We never could pay our sin debt by ourselves. He paid our debt. It was paid in full.
He justified us through faith by "His work" alone. He willingly laid down his life for us.
It only takes one sin.... No one can live that kind of perfect life. The bible says, If we break one of the commandments, in one point, then we are guilty of breaking all. That sin could even seem very small to us, but sin is sin. We are all guilty until Christ declares us innocent through His shed blood, in that we become genuine born again believers. Then the gift of salvation is applied base upon those terms.
I'm so glad Christ did not leave salvation up to my good works, though I do try to please Him with my life. When he sees me, He sees someone His Son died for and accepted the gift of His salvation. Then at the time of salvation, I became a Child of God, as all who will trust Him. Our works will prove our faith, but our works will not save us. All the credit will go to Christ for our salvation. That's called giving Him glory and not our own works.
Father God, There are some people who think they could never be saved because of some of the things they've done in life. I think of Paul who actually persecuted and killed Christians, or the Woman at the well who had seven husbands, or the woman caught in adultery. All of these people found your mercy and were saved at the moment of belief and trusted in you. I pray Lord you'll speak to hearts today and anyone wanting to accept your gift will call upon your name right now and receive you into their heart and life.
The people from scriptures, I mentioned, They repented and turned to Christ for salvation. He did not reject them but made them part of the family of God. They turned from one life to a life living for God through Jesus Christ our Lord. You can do that too.
When God says something, He never lies.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Malachi 1:11 (Prophecy Of Jesus As A Pure Sacrifice)
For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
As The Sun Shines Through
The last time I talked about sunflowers I told you how the sunflowers face the arising sun. This time I want to talk about the reflection of the light from behind the sunflower as the sun is setting. It's a most beautiful scene to see a field of sunflowers as the sun is setting in the distance. We can enjoy seeing the sunflowers as the reflection shines from the back of its pedals.
I am reminded that each setting of the sun is a reminder that Christ died and every arising of the sun is a reminder that Christ arose from the dead. All nature speaks of Christ and is a revelation of His majesty and power. I believe God gave us nature to enjoy and to love, but not to worship. Nature is another reason to praise Him, another way for us to explain to others how loving God is and how He operates in our lives. Every living thing, every moving power of nature and every rock formed all point back to God our creator.
One of the things God expresses to us in scripture is to let our light shine. He's talking about the light that He shines through us while we are trusting and living for Him. We cannot shine the light that Christ is talking about until we have trusted in the death of Christ for us and also in His resurrection. As I think about the setting and the arising of the sun, I think of the beautiful field full of sunflowers lit up by the light of the sun.
There are times in life as Christians we can feel alone even when there are many other Christians around us. There is one that we can always count on, one love we can always count on in life and in death. See Christ can light up our lives even when the world seems so dark around us. He can shine through us in our darkest moments. Sometimes our darkest moment is the very moment another sees the light shining from us the most.
I think of Steven at his stoning, his darkest moment. He never shined brighter than that
moment He cried out to God for those stoning him. He never shined brighter than the moments his eyes looked up to heaven right before he died. The Spirit of Christ shined from His life and also at his death.
The Bible teaches us, that those without Christ are living in darkness and their eyes are blinded. Once we know Christ, He comes into our hearts and lives and the light of Christ begins to shine from our lives as we follow Him. As we look to the light of His Word, seek the light of truth, and live in the light of His Word, Then His light reflects from us into a dark world. Just as the light reflects across the horizon as night falls and lights up a sunflower field.
Hopefully, God will open your eyes this very day to the light He is shining for you. God's desire is for you to come to the light. The light is this, Christ died for sinners like you and myself. We didn't deserve it, nor could we ever repay it, it is a gift from heaven above, given in His sweet, sweet, love for all mankind. He arose and now we know, He can bring light to our own hearts as we believe upon Him, as we trust Him as our Saviour, as the one who paid what we could not pay, the debt for our sin.
Let us look to the light as we seek Him each day and as we bow our heads each night to pray. That other people may see us shining in this dark, dark world and follow our Jesus as their Saviour and Lord. That they may find life in His marvelous light and be pulled from the powers of the unrighteous night.

1 Peter 1:8
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Psalms 5:3
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the
morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. (David may be bowing his head to pray but in
his heart he's looking up.)
Looking Towards The Morning Sun - Devotional
Our new neighbors planted some sunflowers in their garden this year. Some of them seem to be facing our house so I get to enjoy them. I love sunflowers, I decorate my kitchen with roosters, chickens and sunflowers.
Most of the flowers I plant do not face one way, but there is one in my garden that does. My neighbor's sunflowers face the morning sun, and my gladiolas do too. My "glads" didn't do so well this year, but when they do they face the morning sun. When I notice these flowers facing our house, I know it has nothing to do with our house, it has to do with what's behind us. The sun is behind us.
Sometimes I see the sunflowers bowing their heads as though they are praying.. but we do not have to bow our heads to pray we can pray to the Lord where ever we are. When we are looking towards Jesus in our hearts and following the light of his Word. We will seek the Lord in prayer.
Psalms 5:3
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. (David may be bowing his head to pray but in his heart he's looking up.)
The bible tells us to seek the Lord in the morning... When I see my "glads' facing the morning sun. I remember I should be glad in the Lord. Rejoicing and praising God as soon as possible and making my requests known is a very imporatant part of my day. Maybe God gave us flowers that face one way to tell us something. God created things the way they are for a reason. Maybe these are reminders that Jesus is the only place to look.
The bible teaches us that Jesus - IS The WAY, The TRUTH, The LIFE. and that no one can have a relationship with God without him. There are many religions in this world but Jesus is the only WAY to heaven according to the bible. God tells us not to worship other Gods because they are false and will lead you into death everlasting. Which is also called Hell.
I think it would be very strange to see a whole garden of sunflowers facing the sun, to see one turn it's back to the sun. When people consider other religions, other than the Truth Of God's Word. (They are looking the wrong WAY.)
Sometimes people are looking for happiness in lots of different places... some people go out and party, drinking alcohol, doing some drugs... anything their heart desires. (They are looking the wrong WAY.)
The bible teaches that sin brings pleasure for a season and it does, but soon the heart becomes grieved, bitter and trapped. Then you think God will never forgive you. Real happiness is not found in those things. It can bring an evil joy in your heart and also a love of sin, But God has a holy joy for us that causes us to rejoice over Him... We rejoice over God's Son...He is where to LOOK. He is the Way to joy unspeakable.
1Peter 1:8
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: (Looking To Him In Our Hearts.)
What if God's people were sunflowers? We would go to church on Sunday to look to God in our hearts. Looking at a preacher not because He's the preacher, but because He's speaking for the God who is behind Him. We are looking toward the Son of God. To lead us and direct our path. In agreement all looking the same direction in unity. But sometimes one or two might be looking the wrong way.
I remember something from years ago my daughter had shared with me. My daughter and her friend were out driving and they went out the wrong exit while leaving a store. A foreign lady rolled down her window and with broken English said these words, " Yourlll, going, the wrllllong way!" For weeks for some reason, I have no idea why, we would repeat what she said with the same accent. " Yourlll, going, the wrllllong way!"
Hopefully our motives as Christians are first to please God, looking to be led by God, and longing to be used by God. The only way for that to be a reality is to be going the right way.
There are those that have never looked Jesus' way. They only see what they have been taught and blind to the Truth. They are going the Wong Way. Our prayer today is that they will (Look towards the SON)...the Son of God. The hope of salvation to all who will believe and accept that Jesus is the only way of salvation. He is the WAY.

Fill him with your spirit, may he walk in your love.
That the lost may be found, by the old gospel sound.
And revival will call from heaven above.
May your children adhere to your wisdom and fear;
Living for you in spirit and truth.
In a wayward world, keep us faithful Lord;
As we with joyful gladness give others the good news.
May he hear your still small voice and rejoice;
That you have given life, in a desert night.
For the first time cause his ears to really hear;
Open His heart to the power of your light;
Open the eyes Lord of the blind in the darkness;
Open the ears of the deaf that cannot hear.
Heal the sinner, lost in His sin sickness;
Even if he's been lost for many years.
Let the stars cry out with joy, hallelujah;
Let the moon sing forth your praises oh, Lord.
Let the sun and galaxy, sing in harmony;
And all creation shine forth your glory.
May the angels on this very night;
Sing with joy of a soul that has seen your light.
Who has found by grace your great salvation;
Finding your Son your only Son, Jesus Christ.

Psalms 69:34
Let the heaven and earth praise him,
the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.
I Renamed This Song And Made A Couple Changes - April 25th, 2016
---------
A friend of mine has a very sick dad who
recently almost died of pneumonia.
He has been praying
for his dad for many years to be saved.
He told me last night that his dad
has recovered from the pneumonia.
He felt so well that he decided to go on a nature
type get away. My friend told me his dad will
just probably set and look over
the lake in a peaceful location.
My friend filled his dad's tanks and saw
him off with some friends. He felt happy his dad
felt well enough to go, but my friend still has
a sad burden that his dad has not been saved.
After I talked to him, God gave
me this prayer song for his dad.
Pray with me that His dad's eyes will
be opened to salvation.
