Upon A Pile

Luke 12:7a
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Heaven and earth shall pass away;
Our God will judge this earth one day.
He sees the blood of innocent ones;
And with our Lord, it's not okay.

Each star up in the galaxies;
The sand within the restless seas;
Each hair which grows upon our heads.
Each child so small which is conceived.

He keeps in mind and keeps account;
He gives each one, a chosen name.
It's wrong to kill a tiny babe;
To smile a win? Oh, what a shame.

Oh, will they laugh? Will they cheer hurray?
Another baby's life is gone.
God hates the hands that kill the blameless;
How can we let this crime go on?
- - - -

Little baby, little life, Oh how sweet;
But no one loved you, nor did care.
Cast you aside, without one tear.
Upon a pile of bodies bare.

But God came down to hold you near;
Love carried you to heaven's shore.
Like trash, this world threw you away.
Now God's love holds you evermore.

God loves the children of this world.
Little ones, thrown upon a pile.
One great day! On that judgment day!
God shall stand for each aborted child.

Psalms 106:38
And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

An Unusual Dream I Had

An Unusual Dream I Had

I dreamed something unusual a couple of nights ago.  It helped me in a very important decision.
I felt as though God was telling me not to be afraid.

I dreamed I had to walk through all kinds of snakes, but they could not bite me.  I dreamed I walked past many dogs that were eating dead animals everywhere, but they could not bite me, I dreamed I found a rope and swung from the rope between two huge boulders and while swinging down between them, there were many spiders and webs.  The spiders could not bite me, nor did the webs hold me and I brushed them from my clothing.

I know that we are not supposed to trust in dreams, but it really did make me feel confident
that God was going to be with me.  God's word already tells us to be of good courage...

Sometimes in life, we go through difficult things and it's through these things our faith is tested,  It is these times we may become fearful, but faith will help us to continue and trust in God's power and provision.

Joshua  10:25 And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage.

My God's Love Was There

My God's Love Was There

His love lifted me;
From the sinking sands of sin.
I cried for His help;
I looked for a helping friend.

But none heard my cry;
Cared not if I lived or died.
There I took His hand;
Then He pulled me to His side.

His rescuing love;
Pulled me from the fire;
From the sinking mire;
God became my desire.

He led me, through truth;
His love healed my broken heart.
When this world of grief;
Wanted to tear my life apart.

But God's love was there;
In my grief, In my despair,
Just when I thought no one cared;
My God's love was there.

In the darkest night;
Where there was no shining light.
I'm so glad my God;
Pulled me from the devil's snare.

But God's love was there;
In my grief, In my despair.
There was His Hand.
God became my desire.

Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

Mathew 14:29 - 33
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
 Then they that were in the ship came and worshiped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Here Are Thoughts About Two Views: Salvation

Here Are Thoughts About Two Views:  Salvation

If someone were to ask me "How do people acquire salvation?," It would not be by living good enough.  People who never enter His rest, will do many good works, to earn their way to heaven.  They still will never live good enough. Though this is commendable, from a human standpoint.

God's word tells us, "Our righteousness is like filthy rags".
That's why God did everything for us at Calvary.  We simply need to trust that His love led Him to take care of it for us.  God sent his Son out of His great love.  He paid the price for us and that made all those that trust, believing upon Christ, good enough.  We can rest in knowing
that we are not good enough and will never be good enough, to make it into heaven on our own.
It's all about what Christ did at his death and at his resurrection.  He did the work required for salvation.  We never could pay our sin debt by ourselves. He paid our debt.  It was paid in full.
He justified us through faith by "His work" alone. He willingly laid down his life for us.

It only takes one sin.... No one can live that kind of perfect life.  The bible says, If we break one of the commandments, in one point, then we are guilty of breaking all.  That sin could even seem very small to us, but sin is sin.  We are all guilty until Christ declares us innocent through His shed blood, in that we become genuine born again believers.  Then the gift of salvation is applied base upon those terms.

I'm so glad Christ did not leave salvation up to my good works, though I do try to please Him with my life.  When he sees me, He sees someone His Son died for and accepted the gift of His salvation.  Then at the time of salvation, I became a Child of God, as all who will trust Him.  Our works will prove our faith, but our works will not save us.  All the credit will go to Christ for our salvation.  That's called giving Him glory and not our own works.

Father God,  There are some people who think they could never be saved because of some of the things they've done in life.  I think of Paul who actually persecuted and killed Christians, or the Woman at the well who had seven husbands, or the woman caught in adultery.   All of these people found your mercy and were saved at the moment of belief and trusted in you. I pray Lord you'll speak to hearts today and anyone wanting to accept your gift will call upon your name right now and receive you into their heart and life.

 The people from scriptures, I mentioned, They repented and turned to Christ for salvation.  He did not reject them but made them part of the family of God.  They turned from one life to a life living for God through Jesus Christ our Lord. You can do that too.

When God says something, He never lies.

 Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Let Our Hearts Be Right

Let Our Hearts Be Right

Let our hearts be right,
That in this world we might,
Make a difference;
In somebody's life.

Let our hearts be right,
That by grace we might;
Be the difference;
That brings somebody life.

Devotion and love;
For our God above.
Resistant of sin;
Surrendered to Him.

May our lips reply;
With joy from on high.
That Jesus still lives;
Still loves and forgives.

May amazing grace;
Keep us in God's ways.
Drawing close to Him
In rev'rence and praise.

Let our hearts be right,
As we fight the fight;
That makes a difference;
In somebody's life.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Make This A Diff'rence Year - Text

 Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
(KJV)

Make This A Diff'rence Year

I just want to say,
With love and with thought;
Have a happy New Year.

May God's blessings rest;
Upon you my friends.
That is my heartfelt prayer.

May you grow closer,
May you grow stronger;
In Jesus Christ our Lord.

May you be better:
And never be bitter;
In this troublesome world.

There are many things;
That could bring us down,
Cause us to wear a frown.

May we grow wiser;
Be happy, be bold;
In joy, never act old.

Everything we do,
Let us please the Lord:
Make this a diff'rence year.

May God's blessings rest;
Upon you my friends.
That is my heartfelt prayer.
-------

I just want to say,
With love and with thought;
Have a happy and blest New Year.
