An Easter Prayer

 Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

He Found Me

He Found Me

I can have peace because of Jesus;
I know I'm safe within His love.
I was lost, to and fro, I was tossed;
He found me, I trusted in His blood.

I can rest assure, forevermore;
He carries me when I'm not strong.
He is my strength and He is my shield;
He keeps and guides me along.

Just like a shepherd guiding his sheep;
Just like a bird watching her nest.
Just like a father holding His child;
I can find peace, I can find rest.

I trust in His perfect precious plan;
I have peace and security;
His love never fails, and all is well;
His love prevailed at Calvary.

His love has prevailed and all is well;
Jesus will ever shine in me.
Praise Him, Jesus, Is victorious;
I am saved and always will be.

I can rest assure, forevermore;
He carries me when I'm not strong.
He is my strength and He is my shield;
He keeps and guides me along.

Just like a shepherd guiding his sheep;
Just like a bird watching her nest.
Just like a father holding His child;
I can find peace, I can find rest.

Romans 8:38-39
 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ

With Love You Called

With Love You Called

Oh Lamb of God, I Came To Thee;
Because You First Had Love For Me.
With Love You Called, I Heard Your Truth;
Just As I Am, You Rescued Me.

I Was Perishing In My Sin;
I Had No Place to Turn, No Friend.
With Love You Called, I Heard Your Voice;
You Have Paid The Debt Of My Sin.

Lord It's True, I Once Doubted You;
And  Wandered Into  A Dark Night.
Then Dread Fell Upon Me And Fear;
I Found No Comfort, Nor Joy In Sight.

I Remembered Your Forgiveness:
Just At The Calling Of Your Name.
Then I Cried "Lord Jesus, Save Me".
Just As I Am, You Rescued Me.

I Remember Now To Thank-You;
For Your Great Work At Calvary.
Your  Blood Shed, The Price You Paid;
Oh God, What Love You Have For Me.

He's Busy Rearranging

He's Busy Rearranging

Praise the Lord,  God loves you and God loves me.
 He has a purpose for eternity.
 I believed, I received, by His grace;
He made a way and now I'm saved.

My God  is busy rearranging me;
Into the person  he wants me to be.
He's finishing the work he has begun;
Conforming  me  into the image of His Son.

When we trusted in Christ, we saw the light;
And In Jesus we have eternal life.
He paid the price for our sin with His blood;
Because Calvary was all about love.

He's busy rearranging you and me;
He's rearranging, doing the changing.
He has a plan and purpose for each one;
That our lives may glorify His Son.

When we obey, follow the narrow way;
And praise Him for each and every day.
He will lead through paths of righteousness.
By still waters we'll know His graciousness.

He will restore us,  He will uphold us;
Because His mercy is continuous.
His blessings reside again and again;
Upon all those, that put their trust in Him.

When we trusted in Christ, we saw the light;
And In Jesus we have eternal life.
He paid the price for our sin with His blood;
Because Calvary was all about love.

He's busy rearranging you and me;
He's rearranging, doing the changing.
He has a plan and purpose for each one;
That our lives may glorify His Son.

Oh, God's Glory Hallelujah, Shine On

Oh, God's Glory Hallelujah,  Shine On

Jesus gave His life on Calvary;
To save us from hell's fatality.
Our debt was paid on that cruel cross.
He came to give His life for you and me.

The sun was darkened when Jesus died.
The crowds of people were terrified.
The earth shook and quaked in it's  grieving.
As they watched the death of the King of kings.

Oh, God's glory hallelujah, shine on;
The stone at the tombs entrance was gone.
The sun came up Resurrection morn;
And it was like a new day was born.

Jesus triumphant, defeated death:
He defeated hell, and we are blest.
Glorious morning, Jesus lives;
And He lives forever to forgive.

Just as He has risen from the dead;
Just as he has bruised the devil's head.
He defeated the power of sin.
So you too can come alive in Him.

No longer lost, but found in Jesus;
Oh, the love, He has shed upon us.
Oh, God's glory hallelujah, shine on;
What a wonderful resurrection morn.

 Colossians 2:12
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
 Colossians 3:1
 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Worthy Only Because...

Worthy Only Because....

I'm worthy through the blood of Calvary;
Jesus Christ laid down his life for me.
Never once did I deserve such love;
The kind of love that fulfills and frees.

Worthy only because of what He did;
He gave me love that lasts forever.
Never once was I good enough to know;
A love that not even death could sever.

Worthy only because He's all He is;
Redeemer, Saviour, The lamb of God.
Never once without Him would I be;
Sealed and held in the arms of His love.

I'm worthy through the cross of Calvary;
Jesus gave himself to supply our need.
Never , No never, could I repay;
My precious Lord, for what He's done for me.

At The Beginning Of Grace

 Romans 6:14
 For sin shall not have dominion over you:
for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

At The Beginning Of Grace

 They mocked Him and they beat Him;
Slapped Him, Spit upon His face.
Scorned without mercy, they laughed.
Laying  upon Him disgrace.

He was stripped from His clothing;
And shoved, kicked, upon the ground.
Weeping and screaming was heard;
Violence the terr'ble sound.

They gave Him a robe of scarlet;
They platted a crown of thorns.
They placed it upon His head.
Then they laughed a King to scorn.

He could not be recognized;
His beard was plucked from His face.
They removed His royal robe;
In the sight of all debased.

Simon, a Cyrenian;
From the crowds became the cull.
 Followed Jesus with the cross;
Unto the place of the skull.

Then on  Calvary's Hill;
The nails were wedged in his hands.
And pounded into His feet.
His side pierced at hates command.

They sat back and they watch Him.
Then they walked by and scoffed Him;
Upon his dry thirsting lips;
They dabbed vinegar on them.

They nailed a sign of ridicule.
And sarcastically jeered Him.
Who Is This " King Of The Jews"?
Tell me now who will save him?

Father forgive them, he cried;
For they know not what they do.
It is finished, he proclaimed;
When He died for me and you.

Our Savior died amongst thieves;
But one believed and  found grace.
And awoke in paradise;
There beheld our Savior's face.

At the beginning of grace;
Everlasting life was met.
At the beginning of grace;
Our Savior paid our sin debt.

Like a sheep to the slaughter;
He willingly took our place.
On that day long, long ago;
At the beginning of grace.

Stop, Running From Love

Stop, Running From Love

Stop, running from love!
Stop, running from love!
The greatest love known;
The love of all loves.
He so loved the world;
He laid down His life.
He paid sins great price;
A pure sacrifice.
You can't hide from God;
He sees all your sin.
But you are washed clean;
When you come to Him.
Stop, running from love!
Stop, running from love!
A life changing love;
The love of all loves.
Forgiveness and peace;
Salvation secured.
A hope that will last;
A home that is sure.
A love that will change;
Your heart forever.
A love that will shine;
That none can sever.
Stop, running from love!
Stop, running from love!
God's most awesome love;
The love of all loves.
A love so wondrous;
A love so divine.
And so glorious;
And so very kind.
A love undeserved;
A love given free.
When He shed His blood;
On mount Calvary.
Stop, running from love!
Stop, running from love!
A most perfect love;
The love of all loves.

Jesus Was Forsaken - The Valentine of Hope

Jesus Was Forsaken

The  Valentine of Hope
---
Jesus asked why on His darkest day.
He suffered with pain our sins to pay.
He was forsaken on Calvary;
So you and I could be ever free.

He was forsaken for you and me;
That murderous day on Calvary.
His children will not be forsaken;
For His blood was shed for men's  sin.

A love gesture written in His blood;
Jesus forsaken, because of love.
The greatest act of love ever sown.
The greatest act of mercy ever shown.

In letters of love it's been written.
He died so we could be forgiven.
For God so loved the world that He gave;
The only answer for men to be saved.

Jesus, a merciful valentine;
True love, none so precious, none so kind.
Such goodness there has never been;
See His heart, see His love, see Him?

Jesus, a perfect white rose of grace;
Defeated the power of the grave.
The  valentine of hope for the world;
Our victorious risen Lord.

Jesus asked why on His darkest day.
He suffered in grief our sins to pay.
He was forsaken on Calvary.
T'was true love given for you and me.
---------

Perhaps Jesus asked Why -
So We Would Ask Why?
Jesus was forsaken -
So we would never be forsaken.

A mother could forsake her child, a husband could forsake his wife, a grown child could forsake his sickly parents, but God will not forsake his children.  Because Jesus took upon himself our sin.
Jesus was forsaken because of sin.

This Is Real Love
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

It Was Love, True Love

It Was Love, True Love

Why does The rainbow;
rejoice after a rain?
Why does the bluebird ;
sing a cheerful refrain?

Gifts from our Father;
In heaven above.
All beautiful ways;
To show man His love.

Why do the eagles;
Fly high in the sky?
Above the great storm;
With courage they fly.

Gifts from our Father;
Who calms all our fears.
All wonderful ways;
To show man He cares.

Why do the mountains;
Speak peace to the soul?
Why does the ocean;
Waves continually roll?

Gifts from our Father;
They constantly shine.
All given in love;
To all of mankind.

But greater than these;
The gift of great love.
When God gave His Son;
His perfect white dove.

Why did Jesus give;
His life for the lost?
Why was He willing;
To suffer the cost?

It was love, true love;
Provided that day.
God's marvelous love;
Provided the way.

God gave up His Son;
To die in despair.
The ultimate gift;
Our God did not spare.

It was love, true love;
A gift with a seal.
That came from heaven;
Amazing and real.
