The Word Of God

Today I want to talk about the Word of God,

 2Timothy 3:16

 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: KJV

1.       The very first thing we need to know about the Word of God is that it is from God. God gave us the Word of God and because it’s from God it is powerful.  The Bible says in 1 John that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

2.       The Bible says that the scriptures were given to us through inspiration by God.  Miraculously Inspired beyond any inspiration we see today. I believe that God will give us a song to sing or an answer when we are not sure how to answer, if it’s truly from God, it will not disagree with what the Bible says already.

3.       Many people need to wake up, 600 or more different versions of the scriptures can not seriously be called the Word of Truth.  Many are revised each year and definitions are changing in our day and time.  The Bible clearly warns about people adding and taking away from His Word. It also warns in the end times people will try to turn the truth of God into a lie.  Though the word of God will never be a lie, they will simply be fooled into believing it’s not true.

4.       The safest version of the Bible for our day is the KJV 1611 version of the Bible.  If I can understand it surely anybody could if they really wanted to.  The devil is just so happy when people change God’s Word.

Just start out with what you do understand, do you understand “be ye kind to one another”?  Children can still understand the truth of God’s Word.  That’s why God said not to forbid them to come to him.

5.       The bible teaches us about love, it corrects us when our hearts are not where they should be, and it teaches us how to treat each other.  The Bible teaches us to live by faith and repent from our sins.  Romans 1:16 says the gospel (The Word) is the power of God unto salvation.

6.       The Bible gives us the way to be saved.  It clearly says Jesus is the only way to be saved, Jesus says in   “John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.”  Romans 10:9 says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  Romans 10:13 says,  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

7.       The Bible teaches us about heaven and Christ coming back to call his children up into the clouds. We call it the rapture.  The Bible warns us about many things and teaches us wisdom.

8.        The bible teaches us about heaven and hell.  The Bible tells us what is right and what is wrong.  It teaches us there are consequences when we choose other things over God.  It is truth and God never lies.  No matter what some people don’t like about it, even if they change it, God’s Word as He gave it, will always be true.

God's Way = Power To Become God's Child

Power To Become God's Child

Each person has a soul.
A soul lives forever.
When a person dies
His soul goes one of two places.
When we die, we either go to
heaven or hell. Hell is eternal
fire and suffering. It is a literal place.
People do not like to talk about it but it’s real.
People talk about getting real,
well, that’s about as real as it gets.
People that are in hell,
They refused to become God’s child,
they trusted in some other way of salvation.
 Some chose a false god or idol.
Some thought they could wait another day.
They wanted to do it their own way.
They rejected the Truth and believed the lie instead.
Without Christ
We are dead while we live.  Then we are dead
spiritually and we are dead to God.
If we are dead to God,
Then we are not his child. The good news
Is,  adoption
 is available to all who desire
to become His child.
That’s why Jesus came to die…
God hates sin and that sin from the beginning.
has separated us from God.
We could not be accepted as his child.
We are dead to God without
Jesus.  God set up the plan of salvation
because all people need to be saved.
He came to save us from our
sin and to give us the power
To become sons and daughters of God.
He wants you and all people to
become his children.  People can only
Be saved spiritually in the way that God has
communicated in His Incarnate
 Infallible Holy Word.

Desiring To Be Wise

Desiring To Be Wise

In many lessons we have already taught, we learn that wisdom is something we should desire.  We know the greatest wisdom is the wisdom which God gives us as we seek him and by asking Him to direct our path.
There are some people who want to follow their own devices, feeling that they know better than the council of the Bible. I myself, do not think of myself as wise but feel that I have learned some wise things in which I have applied to my life.  All those who follow the truths of the Biblical Proverbs have chosen to be wise by following the precepts that are taught to us.  None of us have arrived in the learning of wisdom, but are becoming wiser as we seek God and His wisdom from above.
There are those who think they know it all and think they could never fall.  Just this attitude itself shows
a fracture in the wisdom they possess.
We know that if we fear the Lord, then is when we start to learn what wisdom is.  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
I once was accused, of thinking, I was being wise in my own eyes, but if they really knew me they would know I had to take a step of faith, by being willing to fail.  I was always afraid of failure and oftentimes would let that fear stop me from even trying.  I was always afraid of being made a fool out of, but I became willing to look foolish in order to overcome everything inside myself- that kept me from teaching.  I no longer looked at the failures of my past as a reason to resist being what God wanted me to be.  Instead, I looked at His forgiveness and put my confidence in what He would do through me, simply by taking a step of faith in the right direction.

I've never claimed to be perfect, never claimed to be wise, but instead have sought to become better and to be wiser.  I think this is a worthy goal for any Christian.  If we are living in obedience to Christ and are seeking His will for our lives...then we know we are on the path of wisdom.

Proverbs 2:3-5
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;  If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God

Right Is Always Right

Doing Right Is Always Right

Have you ever felt tempted?
Have you ever felt tried?
Have you ever felt threatened?
And of your rights denied?

Have you ever faced a giant?
Who's much bigger than you?
Too big for you to handle?
Then what do you do?

When you're in a dilemma;
That is confusing you.
When you're walking in the dark;
Trusting who knows who.

Do you have to make a choice;
Between right and wrong?
Then it's time to stand for right;
Then it's time to fight.

I may be but nothing to you;
But I'm something to God.
He hold's the stars in His hands;
And controls lightning rods.

He's bigger than the Giants;
That occupy the land.
They may not even know it;
But their life is in God's hands.

When David bravely stood strong;
In the name of the Lord.
Godly courage filled His soul;
And he won in that war.
---------
Queen Esther had to be strong;
She prayed both day and night.
Because of persecution;
She had to bring forth light.

She approached the golden scepter;
That was in the Kings hand.
Easter knew she could die;
At the voice of His command.

She found a way to entreat;
To keep the Jews alive..
She confessed she was Hebrew;
His love was then realized.

Angered by the evil plot;
And betrayed by a friend;
The persecuted found love
The enemy, His end.

For the noose that was built up;
By Haman's authority.
Ended up on His own neck.
Love won the victory.
----------
Courageous people stand for right;
Even if it means to die.
To lose their reputation;
Or even be denied.

To be humiliated;
Threatened, laughed to scorn.
Or mocked, or brought to shame;
And sometimes take the blame.

When you have to take a stand;
When you have to do what's right;
For our country and for truth;
Doing right is always right.

Psalms 106:7-12
Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

God Is Still Great!

God Is Still Great

God is greater than any sea;
Than high mountains of majesty.
Greater far than heavenly stars;
Greater than all mankind is He.

God is greater than the blue sky;
Or any invention that we try.
Greater than the riches of earth;
Or even a tiny child's birth.

Chorus:
Greater than any obstacle;
Or anything impossible.
Through Christ alone our greatest fate;
God is still good,  God is still great.
greater than great, God is still great

God is greater than you or I;
Or any problem that makes us cry.
Greater far than our greatest foe;
There is nothing He doesn't know.

God is greater than creation;
More than our imagination;
Fashioned by his creative hands;
Great wonders here and other lands.

Chorus:
Greater than any obstacle;
Or anything impossible.
Through Christ alone our greatest fate;
God is still good,  God is still great.
 greater than great!

God is still good,  God is still great!

God is greater than great!

I sang this song just for the purpose of letting you know and showing you that this song can be sung. I never claimed to be a wonderful singer and I’m definitely not showing off as you well know. The message of this song is to communicate that there is nothing or no one greater than God. I have been willing to make a fool out of myself to help you know that this is a song.

Psalms 95:3
For the LORD is a great
God, and a great
King above all gods.

Day By Day (Prayer)

Day By Day
(Prayer)

Like The Buds Of The Trees;
Like The Blooms Of The Spring;
Let Your Love, Let Your Joy;
Ever Bloom From My Soul-
 Day By Day.

Like The Deer By The Pond;
Like The Breeze In The Sun.
Let Your Light, Let Your Ways
Ever Shine From My Life-
 Day By Day.

Like The Rocks And The Sky;
Like The Moon Upon High;
Let  Your Strength, Let Your Grace;
Be Walking Here With Me-
 Day By Day.

Like The Night Turn To Day;
Like The Child On The Way;
Let  Your Hand, Let Your Word;
Ever Guide In My Life-
Day By Day.

Jesus Is Life's Greatest Treasure

Jesus is Life's Greatest Treasure

The greatest treasures of this life;
Are not the artifacts of old.
Not treasures hid deep in oceans wide;
Not treasures of silver or gold.

The greatest treasures of this life;
Are not found in houses or lands.
Not found in an education:
Magnificent  ideas or plans.

We treasure and enjoy nature:
Along the garden paths and streams.
Love the view of a setting sun:
Breathing  in the fragrance of spring:

Yes, all these things are treasures;
Each creature, each flower, each tree.
And each mind boggling wonder.
From sparkling sea, to sparkling sea.

Each person is a treasure to Christ;
That's why He died for you and me.
Like precious stones mined  from the rocks;
But worth more than it's treasury.

Though children are cherished treasure:
More than mere words could really say.
Though we treasure and love our spouse:
And precious time with them each day.

Jesus is life's greatest treasure:
Without Him all treasure is lost.
Eternal treasure will remain:
Because Jesus has paid the cost.

Jesus is life's greatest treasure:
Without Him all hell would break forth.
All would be lost and hope be not:
Eternal damnation our course.

Jesus  is unfolding treasure;
Hope everlasting, life anew.
If you would believe upon him;
A treasure forever in you.

1Peter 1:18-21
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Sing a New Song To Jesus - By: Susan Y Nikitenko

Sing A New Song To Jesus

Sing a new song to Jesus;
Fall to your knees and pray.
Tell Him how much you love Him;
And get your heart right today.

Sing a new song of worship;
Open your Bible and praise.
Make mention to others of Cal'vry;
And walk in His wonderful ways.
----
Chorus:
Sing, sing, sing a new song;
Sing when it seems all has gone wrong.
Sing from the valley of tears---
Sing to the Lord a new song.

Sing, sing, sing a new song;
Then have your friends sing along.
Sing from the fountain of joy---
Sing to the Lord a new song.

Sing anew song to Jesus;
With heart and soul and voice.
Lift up your voice with honor;
Remember His love and rejoice.

Sing a new song of gladness;
Sing of His excellent ways.
Sing with a heart that is grateful;
For the blessings He gives us each day.
----
Chorus:
Sing, sing, sing a new song;
Sing when it seems all has gone wrong.
Sing from the valley of tears---
Sing to the Lord a new song.

Sing, sing, sing a new song;
Then have your friends sing along.
Sing from the fountain of joy---
Sing to the Lord a new song.
