Amazing Grace Baptist Church May 2026

e🌿 May Days of Prayer and Peac

Heavenly Father, As May unfolds in beauty and light, we lift our hearts to You in prayer. Bless our church family with unity, love, and steadfast faith. Strengthen the weary, comfort the lonely, and heal the sick with Your tender mercy. Let Your peace rest upon every home, every heart, and every burdened soul.

Guide our country, Lord, with wisdom and righteousness. Let truth and compassion lead our leaders and citizens alike. Make our church a beacon of hope — a place where Your Word is honored, Your Spirit is felt, and Your people grow strong in grace.

Help us to succeed not in numbers alone, but in love, service, and devotion. May every prayer we offer this month rise like sunshine before You, warming hearts, renewing faith, and drawing us closer to Your will.

In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

This Art for This Post

Here is a beautiful, elegant, heart‑stirring poem based on your phrase:

**🌿 May Prayers Bring Daily…

A Poem of Encouragement**

May prayers bring daily strength anew,
For hearts that bend but still push through;
May quiet whispers said in faith
Be met with mercy, love, and grace.

May prayers bring daily peace within,
A calm the world cannot begin;
A stillness only God can give,
A gentle courage just to live.

May prayers bring daily light to see
The path God shapes intentionally;
For every step, though small or slow,
Is guided by the One who knows.

May prayers bring daily hope that stays
Through shadowed nights and weary days;
A hope that blooms like morning sun
And warms the soul of everyone.

And as we lift our hearts each day,
God meets us in a tender way—
For every prayer, both small and great,
He answers and is never late.

🌿 “The Window of Prayer” — A May Devotional Story

The rain had been falling for days.
Anna sat by her kitchen window, watching the gray clouds roll across the sky. Her garden — once bright with tulips and daffodils — now looked weary and drenched. She sighed, feeling the same heaviness in her heart.

Life had been difficult lately. Her husband’s health was failing, her grown children were far away, and the quiet of the house seemed louder than ever. She whispered, “Lord, I don’t even know what to pray anymore.”

Just then, a small bird landed on the windowsill — soaked, trembling, but still singing. Its fragile voice pierced the silence, and Anna smiled through tears.
She realized that even the smallest creature still lifted its song in the storm.

She opened her Bible and her eyes fell on these words:

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
Philippians 4:6 (KJV)

The verse felt like sunlight breaking through the clouds.
Anna bowed her head and began to pray — not with perfect words, but with a heart that trusted. She prayed for her family, for her husband’s strength, for her own courage, and for her church family who carried burdens too.

As she prayed, the rain softened. The bird flew away, leaving behind a melody that lingered in her spirit.
Anna realized that prayer doesn’t always change the storm — sometimes it changes the heart within it.

Bible Reading

Philippians 4:4–7 (KJV)

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Reflection

When life feels heavy, prayer becomes the window through which God’s light enters.
Even when the rain falls, the heart that prays will find sunshine again.

⚓ Anchored in Faith — Even When Fearsome Trouble Rages

The waves may rise, the winds may roar, and the world may tremble — yet the heart anchored in Christ stands firm.
When fearsome trouble rages, faith becomes the rope that holds us steady, and prayer becomes the sail that catches Heaven’s breath.
He whispers peace into the storm and strength into the soul.
Through every trial, His Word remains our anchor — unbroken, unmovable, and everlasting.
Hebrews 6:19 (KJV)
That we stand together, steadfast in faith, radiant in love, and courageous in service —
anchored in Christ, even when the storm rages on.
Our hope is not in calm seas, but in the Captain who commands them.
“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast.”
Let this be our prayer as a church:

Valentine Sweet Valentine:

Jesus Gave You To Me.

To love and care for me.

Valentine Sweet Valentine;

All the goodness you've shown me.

I would just like to say---

I love you sweet valentine;

I know you love me too.

I just wanted to let you know;

I thank the Lord for you.

Love Of Our Souls

The Love Of Our Soul

Heaven sent a valentine;
To love you and me.
A valentine of love;
As true as could be.

Amazing love, the sweet song;
It's the melody;
That's singing in my heart;
There so cheerfully.

Just knowing that He loves us;
With such sacrifice.
We should always love Him;
He gave us HIS LIFE.

A beautiful valentine;
With grace made us whole.
Our Redeemer and Savior;
The love of our soul.

Heavens Valentine - Updated December 30th, 2012

Heaven's Valentine

One day on a hill long ago;
Within your design.
You gave us a precious gift;
Heavens valentine.

Oh Lord, thank-you for caring;
Thank-you for your love.
Thank-you for your salvation;
Your heart from above.

The most beautiful valentine;
Was written in red.
A selfless act of mercy;
And thorns on your head.

In great love you gave your life;
So that we could live.
In great love you sacrificed;
So that we could give.

Without your love and your grace;
Oh, where would I be.
Drowning in a pit of sin;
But you rescued me.

You reached down in pure love;
Because you are kind.
You are precious, you are true;
Heavens valentine.

Your love has lifted many;
From the pits of hell.
Your grace has soothed the wounded;
Yet no words can tell.

You reached down in pure love;
Because you are kind.
There is no one as loving;
Heavens valentine.

With your blood devine.
--------
Heavens valentine;
Precious valentine;
Thank-you for your love;
I'm so glad you're mine.

A Million Snowflakes

One Of His Beautiful Creations

     Though there are some very beautiful people in this world.  What matters is what's on the inside.  To God beauty is a far different thing than the world pictures.  God looks at the heart and His judgment is not on the outward appearance.   That does not mean we should neglect our appearance or make our appearance resemble a worldly way.   All people are unique and that is a beauty in its self, because no two are exactly the same.  It's true a face could look the same, but no one owns your particular face it is still your own and God knew you before you were born.  God loves you no matter what you look like on the outside. God created only one you...that makes you a work of art, one of His beautiful creations.
Look at yourself through His eyes.

A  Million Snowflakes

 Crystal white lace falling free;
Dancing along in the breeze.
Lining each limb on the trees;
Nothing has beauty like these.

A sea of wintery hills;
A scene that stands very still.
Pines stacked with wonderland thrills;
Speaks of a God that is real.

A million snowflakes fly down;
Not making a single sound.
Each one is beautifully crowned;
Treasures of love on the ground.

Each tiny flower of lace;
Has its own beautiful face.
Like people of every race;
Different and fashioned in place.

 Snowflakes are never the same;
But God knows us all by name.
Precious His love has proclaimed;
For It was for us that He came.

A million snowflakes fly down;
Not making a single sound.
Yet they teach wisdom profound;
Showing His love all around.

Your Love

Restored August 29th, 2014

Your Love

Your love out loves all earthly love.
Your love loves the unlovable.
Your love cries out to the sinner.
It’s done the unforgettable!

Words can not express your pure love.
Men can not comprehend your love,
Yet sinners can receive your love;
Comforted by your holy dove.

Your love shines of rarest beauty.
Your love was given at great cost.
Through Love, you shed your perfect blood;
And hung from that old rugged cross.

It was love that drove you to die;
and brought life to that cold dark grave.
Now, love is looking down from heaven;
Seeks the souls of the lost to save.

T’was awesome Love, wonderfully shown;
To helpless men lost in their sin.
No greater love, there’s ever been;
Than God came down to die for men.

Jesus Is My Valentine - Poem Poster

Jesus Is The Greatest Valentine

Jesus is the greatest Valentine;
His love will never cease to be.

His love is bigger than the world;

I'm so glad that Jesus loves me.

Jesus is the greatest Valentine;
His heart is bigger than the sea.
And He always fills my heart with joy;
I'm so glad that Jesus loves me.

Yes He is the greatest valentine;
I will rejoice eternally.

 I will lift my voice with all my heart;

I'm so glad that Jesus loves me.

Poetry ~ Musical Words

Poetry

 Poetry: beautiful, feeling,
written with grace.
Stirring others, bringing emotion;
to each heart and face.

Touching listening souls;
With pen and ink.
Causing each one reading;
To deeply feel and think.

What gift one has, to express;
every tear and care.
Giving gifts of love, to all,
the words, with which you share.

Moved with compassion,
filled with the Spirit.
Poetry, God’s poetry;
others will hear it.

Poetry, so wonder filled,
expressed with power.
 By God’s grace and hand;
will one day flower.

Poetry is our new song;
God told us to sing.
Offerings of praises;
love, given to our King.

So, write, write with all your heart;
your new song.
Dedicate it to Him,
for the week, for the strong.

To encourage, to love,
to teach, to preach,
to share, to care,
to move, to reach.

Musical words on paper;
Hungry souls to lift.
Poetry: your calling, your purpose,
your gift.

Psalms 96:1

 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD

 Ecclesiastes  9:10

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might

Hello And Good-bye

Hello Jesus;
Hello forgiveness.
Good-bye teardrops;
Good-bye, good-bye.

Hello mercy;

Good-bye, good-bye.

Hello blessings;
Hello peacefulness.
Good-bye guiltiness;
Good-bye, good-bye.

Hello sunshine:
Hello hopefulness.
Good-bye distain;
Good-bye, good-bye.

Hello heaven;
Hello forever.
