Are You The Kind Of Friend That Job Had?

Are You The Kind Of Friend That Job Had?

 Are you the kind of friend that Job had, when they couldn't understand;
Why such heartache and sickness fell his way; one unexpected day?
Are you the one to judge when you do not know the half of it, nor will;
While upon the one you have cast your judgment, is not mentioned when you pray?

So easy it is to think you know them ole so well;
As you wait nearby in hopes that they will utterly fail.
"Let's write a little poem and say a word or two;" You say.
Cause you do not believe them when they say,  "I'm not feeling well. "

Be very careful, you may not know, as much as you think you do;
Before you throw your darts of knowledge, with a heart of doubt, contempt.
When the one you judge may be learning something just before you do;
So they will have compassion when it's your turn to learn it too.

See, those little insinuations, those little hurtful taunts, could be;
Just what satan needs to cause someone already hurt more grief.
Without love you are nothing and your voice will not be heard;
Because you are just a noise without love, but so full of words.

 1 Corinthians 13:1
Though I speak with the tongues of men
and of angels, and have not charity, I am
become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Job is pronounced Jobe
in the Bible

Job was sick and lost his family but never cursed God.
His friends felt he must had done something
wrong to be going through his suffering and great loss.
His friends added to his grief by casting judgement.

What Would Love Do?

What Would Love Do?
Part 1

   I asked my neighbor if she minded me telling this story about their garden.  I wasn't trying to make anything happen in order to come up with some good story,  as a matter fact I have never tried to make something  happen in order to come up with a good example.  I wanted her to know my motives were not selfish at all, but my motives were genuine.

I noticed her husband poisoning the grass in their yard, but at that time I didn't know it was because he was planning on putting in a raised garden.  Then I noticed them planting the garden.  It was then that I realized he'd be planting food there. I became concerned whether or not it would be safe to eat.  I thought in my heart should I tell them what I think?  Then I decided I was just being a worry wart and that I should mind my own business.  They could of been using something, I was unaware of, to kill the grass that was safe and usable in a vegetable garden.

I guess a few weeks went by and the plants were growing.  Once again I was concerned the food might make them sick or kill them even.  I decided to look for information whether or not using "Round Up"  on the ground, when building a raise garden bed, was safe.  According to the information I read, using  poison like "Round Up" is not a safe thing to use when planting food.  I struggled with the idea of saying anything.  I didn't want to cause any problems with my neighbors.

Then I had to ask myself, "What would love do?"  "Would love just keep silent, if  it meant something could hurt our neighbors?  The bible says, "Perfect love casteth out all fear."  I decided the right thing to do was to share my concerns with my neighbor, because love would warn them.

 When the opportunity came I asked my neighbor if I could ask her a question?  I made it clear that I wasn't trying to be a nosey neighbor, but the reason I was asking the question is because I care about them.  I was concerned for their health and well being.  I then proceeded to ask what kind of poison they used on the grass.  She told me they used Round Up.  I told her what I believed to be true, that the food might not be safe to eat.

I didn't have to tell them, but how could I live with myself knowing something could hurt them and not say anything.  To find out later that one of them or both of them were to become sick or die.  I would grieve miserably.  The same way spiritually, I could just stand by, never tell them that there is danger for the person who dies without Jesus.  That there is a heaven and a hell and we will go one of two places when we die.  There's no turning back then.

Though these words might not be exactly the words that I used, this was pretty much the gist of what I said...  I asked if she would at least go online and check things out for herself and she said that she would.

Colossians 1:28
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Jesus Is My Greatest Treasure

Jesus Is My Greatest Treasure

Jesus is my greatest treasure;
For nothing compares in measure;
To the joy that He gives to me;

He's my hope and my salvation;
He's my heart's illumination.
He's more than anything (more than anything) to me.

He's  the comfort through my sorrow;
He's my today and my tomorrow.
Jesus is, my eternity.

There's no doubt because it's true;
He loves me and he loves you too.
Because His love flows from sea to sea.

He gave his life, laughed at and scorned,
Beaten, died , tormented and torn,
He shed His blood willingly.

He's God's only begotten son
Precious, perfect, Holy one.
He arose and has saved me.

Jesus is my greatest treasure;
For nothing compares in measure;
To the kind of love He gave to me.

He's God's only begotten son
Precious, perfect, Holy one.
Spotless lamb God of Calvary.

1 Peter 1:18-21
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

It's Because Of God's Love

It's Because Of God's Love

Out of envy, out of hatred, Jesus was torn;
He was beaten, betrayed, mocked and rejected.
Hurt beyond words, He was unrecognizable;
God's only begotten Son - was not accepted.

The crowds in unison chanted, Crucify Him!
Crucify Him!  Crucify Him! the hateful roared.
He suffered, He bled, and they jeered, as He died.
But the power of hell was broken by our Lord.

Tears mingled in His blood at the foot of the cross;
But a miracle from heaven was on its way;
Salvation was born on that Resurrection day;
Hallelujah, Jesus came to seek and to save.

All hell could not defeat Him,  death could not keep him;
For Jesus our Saviour was God in human flesh.
It's because of God's love, His salvation is known;
Now under His wings is comfort and perfect rest.

 John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Ephesians 2:1-9

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.  But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ,
 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

It Is You Jesus, Who I Want To Please

It Is You Jesus, Who  I Want To Please

The blessing of Lord shall abide;
When we live to please and honor Him.
Like dew  from heaven  refreshing the earth;
Like fruit hanging from a healthful limb.

The blessing of the Lord shall remain;
When we remain faithful  and true in Christ.
Even though sometimes it's hard to see;
I remember His great sacrifice.
---------
The greatest blessing is you Jesus;
The greatest gift I've ever received .
And your blessing still abides on me;
It is you Jesus, who  I want to please.

You gave us the waters that flow free;
You gave the hope of eternity.
You  gave us the grace to face each day;
And all the blessing we find in thee.

Our lives are  in your hands each moment;
Our trust in your promised provision.
When we call upon your name  and pray;
You give us much needed attention.
--------
You give us strength, when we have no strength.
You restore our faith, when we need faith;
You give us joy when we have no joy;
You lead us in all your righteous ways.

The greatest blessing is you Jesus;
The greatest gift I've ever received .
And your blessing still abides on me;
It is you Jesus, who  I want to please.

 1 Thessalonians 4:1
Furthermore then we
beseech you, brethren,
 and exhort you
by the Lord Jesus,
that as ye have received
 of us how ye ought to walk
and to please God, so ye
would abound
more and more.

Inconveniences and Problems - Devotional

 Inconveniences and Problems

Sometimes things happen in our lives because God has something He wants us to learn in life.  One time years ago,  I went with a friend  to visit her parents.  On the way home, the car had over heated and we were able to get the problem resolved before we actually left her hometown.  I made this comment,  "Thank the Lord, this happened here before we got on the highway or we wouldn't be able to find water or a phone." At that time not many people had cell phones.  We certainly did not have one.
     While on the highway with no gas station or help in sight, the car overheated again and we started to pray because we thought we would be stranded.  We had to stop because the car was steaming.   Then was when I recalled my own words, "Thank the Lord this happened here before we got on the highway or we wouldn't be able to find water or a phone."
     We prayed not knowing exactly what we were going to do.  We were far away from home.  While we were looking around a car passed by and the person offered us the use their cell phone.  Then rejoicing, we noticed a puddle of fresh rainwater nearby.  We were able to find both a phone and water.
    I guess that God wanted me to know that He can supply our need wherever we are.. whether out in the middle of nowhere or right in our own backyard.
   God sometimes allows inconvenient things to happen in our lives so that we may receive a blessing from God's people.  Sometimes our inconvenience is the avenue in which God will shower his love upon the one who needs help, by the giving love of brothers and sisters in Christ.  God will love us through them.   Our inconvenience is sometimes a way for God to be glorified.
    One thing that I've learned through the years is to praise God even through difficult times and inconveniences.  While waiting upon the Lord, I've learned to praise him through the asking for help and provisions.  Choosing to be content is choosing to remain joyful while waiting for the Lord to answer our prayers and supply our need.  Sometimes God will use a person who has no idea there being used by God.  In this way God is also glorified.  It is in those times God will give an opportunity to speak to someone of God's grace.
     Many times inconveniences and problems are avenues in which God teaches us something wonderful about His love for us and also teaches us to love and rest in Him.

A Joyful Salvation Prayer Song

A Joyful Salvation Prayer Song

Let the stars cry out with joy, hallelujah;
Let the moon sing forth your praises oh, Lord.
Let the sun and galaxy, sing in harmony;
And all creation shine forth your glory.

May the angels on this very night;
Sing with joy of a soul that has seen your light.
Who has found by grace your great salvation;
Finding your Son your only Son,  Jesus Christ.

Open the eyes Lord of the blind in the darkness;
Open the ears of the deaf that cannot hear.
Heal the sinner lost in His sin sickness;
Even if he's been lost for many years.

Open the mouth of the preacher with boldness;
Fill him with your spirit, may he walk in your love.
That the lost may be found,  by the old gospel sound.
And revival will call from heaven above.

May your children adhere to your wisdom and fear;
Living for you in spirit and truth.
In a wayward world, keep us faithful Lord;
As we with joyful gladness give others the good news.

May he hear your still small voice and rejoice;
That you have given life, in a desert night.
For the first time cause his ears to really hear;
Open His heart to the power of your light;

Open the eyes Lord of the blind in the darkness;
Open the ears of the deaf that cannot hear.
Heal the sinner, lost in His sin sickness;
Even if he's been lost for many years.

Let the stars cry out with joy, hallelujah;
Let the moon sing forth your praises oh, Lord.
Let the sun and galaxy, sing in harmony;
And all creation shine forth your glory.

May the angels on this very night;
Sing with joy of a soul that has seen your light.
Who has found by grace your great salvation;
Finding your Son your only Son,  Jesus Christ.

I Renamed This Song And Made A Couple Changes - April 25th, 2016

---------

A friend of mine has a very sick dad who
recently almost died of  pneumonia.
He has been praying
for his dad  for many years to be saved.
He told me last night that his dad
has recovered from the  pneumonia.
He felt so well that he decided to go on a nature
 type get away.  My friend told me his dad will
just probably set and look over
 the lake in a peaceful location.
 My friend filled his dad's tanks and saw
 him off with some friends.  He felt happy his dad
felt well enough to go, but my friend still has
a sad burden that his dad has not been saved.
After I talked to him, God gave
 me this prayer song for his dad.

Pray with me that His dad's eyes will
be opened to salvation.

If You're Feelin' Downhearted

If You're Feelin' Downhearted

If your feelin' downhearted;
Just feelin' downright sad.
Life has given you lemons;
And your face is lookin'  mad.

It seems like nobody cares;
And you just don't know why.
Your lookin' down at the ground;
Livin' life with a sigh.

Keep looking up to heaven;
Our promised  home above.
God has not forsaken you;
Nor turned from you His love.

He is ready to comfort;
When you call on His name.
He gives power to praise;
He takes away the pain.

He helps you survive each day;
By finding hope in Him.
He encourages our soul.
When we put our trust in Him.

His compassions are faithful;
His love is more than real.
He is aware each moment;
Of how you really feel.

The Lord is good unto us;
His mercies have not failed.
More than conquerors we are;
In Him we shall prevail.

Live your life in His presence;
Let His Word speak to you.
He will heal your brokenness;
And make each day brand new.

Lamentations 3:22
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

His Love For Us

His Love For Us

God knows we are empty without him.
He knows we don't understand;
He sent us his light, to light up our lives;
And he offers his life saving hands.

See the nail scars in his opened hands?
They were scared for sinful man.
To redeem us with his precious blood;
See the love that drew salvation's plan?

See the scars upon his faithful feet?
They were scared to lead the Way.
To lead us into his righteousness;
And to heaven one bright day.

His side was pierced, his blood flowed free;
The scar is still there to see.
His love for us, bid him die for us;
Oh, the love of Calvary.

His blood was shed, as he hung his head;
The mockers did not perceive.
That God himself, gave himself for us;
He will save all who believe.

They took his torn body from the cross;
On that woeful day of doom.
But glory hallelujah;
He arose from that dark tomb.

The light appeared in that cold dark place;
Where Jesus stood at the door....
Today he offers his nail scared hand;
To be saved forever more.

And  as a new day sun arises;
As new flowers of spring bloom.
So do our hearts in his redeeming;
The day we give him room.

He Is Near

HE IS NEAR

He is near;
always near;
Justifier of my soul.

His presence;
ever near.
His great love has made me whole.

While this world;
In it's grief.
tries our faith, our belief.

When He speaks;
It is sweet;
because I know He loves me.

Many tears;
Through these years;
But so much more joy to tell.

Cause my Lord;
fills my heart
 with his love His Spirit dwells.

He is near;
always near;
Saviour of my soul.

Chorus: He Is Near
Susan Y Nikitenko
February 28th, 2016

This morning the Lord gave me a new Chorus.  He Is Near.  When we are children of God, On the day we were saved He came to dwell in our hearts.  We were born again, made alive in Christ.  With Him we can find joy in times of sorrow  if we continue in faith, continue in the praising of Him.  His peace gives relief and rest for our souls.

Just a Little Note: Faith And Love

Just a Little Note:

Faith and Love

Not too long ago I met a young lady while I was out walking.  She was probably around 25 years old.  She's attending college in Washington State. She was visiting her parents who live just a few houses up from us.   She was out walking her mom's golden retriever.  She wanted to talk about politics, when I noticed she repeated something several times. Our conversation weaved in and out into the topic of politics, religion and Christianity.  She kept on repeating "killing for Christ".  I responded with "Killing for Christ?"  What?  I believe in fighting for freedom and protecting our Country as a nation.  But killing for Christ? No.

We went on in our conversation, She said that she was a Christian but that she was confused.  She had been studying many other religious beliefs and had started doubting Gods Word.  I explained to her that if she was a Christian and was doubting God's Word she was already falling from the Faith.  I lovingly told her that anything that contradicts God's Word should not be trusted.

God has made His Word simple enough for a child to understand.  That's why Christ said let the little children come unto me.  God can open the eyes of a child that does not have allot of this worlds knowledge.  God wants us to come to Him as little children.  Trusting Him with a childlike faith.  Sometimes people can become so educated that they become deceived by this world's knowledge  and become blinded to
the things of God.

I've been busy trying to get my craft room organized.  I happened to see my scrapbook from years past.  I picked it up and looked at it noticed some things missing.  I noticed an article I put in it as a young teen.  The headline said... "Killing For Christ".  I didn't read it but I immediately thought of that young woman repeating those words to me, as though awaiting my response. I can't remember why I put the article into my scrapbook, nor do I know what it says at this time.  I haven't taken the time to read it.

The other thing that stood out about our conversation was when I mentioned that God hates sin.  She responded with, God doesn't hate because God is love.  God doesn't hate anything.

Normally when I talk about scripture. The scripture just pops up into my mind as needed.. I know the Lord hates sin, God has brought judgment upon nations and people because of sin.  I did not argue the point because for some reason even though I know the Scriptures needed, my mind drew a blank.

When I was at home I remembered the verses.

Proverbs 6:16 -19
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

God is Love, but He still hates sin, which we are all guilty of in one way or another.
God doesn't not want us living in sin. He wants us to repent.  He wants us to turn to Him and trust Him.  He wants us to do these things because he loves us.
The Bible teaches us that God is love, but it also teaches that He hates sin and will judge sin.
Romans 6:1 -2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Just remember without faith we cannot please God.
Unbelief is one sure way never to be saved, never to see heaven,
 never to know real hope or joy.

I Love You So Much, My Valentine

Listen To The Song Here:

Good Morning Everybody. This Morning The Lord Gave Me This Love Song. The Song Is About God's Love For His Church, The Bride Of Christ. The Bible Teaches Husbands To Love Their Wives As Christ Loved The Church And Gave His Life For It.

I Love You So Much, My Valentine

I Love You So Much, My Valentine;
Can't You See That You Are For Me.
Everything I Came To Do, I Thought Of You;
Even On The Cross Of Calvary.

I Knew I Had To Come To Save You;
I Knew You Could Not Save Yourself.
So I Laid Down My Life In Sacrifice;
So You Know, I Gave To You Myself.

I Love You So Much, My Valentine;
Can't You See That You Are For Me.
I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know;
Please Put Your Love And Trust In Me.

I Knew I Had To Come To Save You;
I Knew You Could Not Save Yourself.
So I Laid Down My Life In Sacrifice;
So You Know, I Gave To You Myself.

 Ephesians 5:25
 Husbands, love your wives,
 even as Christ also loved the
church, and gave himself for it;

 And I John saw the holy city,
 new Jerusalem, coming down
from God out of heaven, prepared
 as a bride adorned
 for her husband.

With Love You Called

With Love You Called

Oh Lamb of God, I Came To Thee;
Because You First Had Love For Me.
With Love You Called, I Heard Your Truth;
Just As I Am, You Rescued Me.

I Was Perishing In My Sin;
I Had No Place to Turn, No Friend.
With Love You Called, I Heard Your Voice;
You Have Paid The Debt Of My Sin.

Lord It's True, I Once Doubted You;
And  Wandered Into  A Dark Night.
Then Dread Fell Upon Me And Fear;
I Found No Comfort, Nor Joy In Sight.

I Remembered Your Forgiveness:
Just At The Calling Of Your Name.
Then I Cried "Lord Jesus, Save Me".
Just As I Am, You Rescued Me.

I Remember Now To Thank-You;
For Your Great Work At Calvary.
Your  Blood Shed, The Price You Paid;
Oh God, What Love You Have For Me.

Matthew 14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

Through The Seasons - Corrected

Through The Seasons

God made the seasons for you and for me;
Each one brings praise and to Him much glory.
We see the small snowflake with patterns so small;
Patterns unnumbered and different, them all.

Dancing, a snowflake, finds some place to land;
Then gently rests on a child's open hand.
Building a snowman that seems eight feet tall;
Winter's a season that kids understand.

All the sweet moments the seasons bring;
Like newly born robins learning to sing.
Bright tulips of pink, purples and reds;
Refreshing each morning of a brand new spring.

Beautiful flowers abloom in the trees;
All brown meadows turning to green.
Newly born babies of all nature's friends;
More than pleasant  God's creation of spring.

Then comes hot weather close to July;
Pastures of green and orange butterflies.
Flowers scattered throughout the grassy fields;
While the Sun beams fill an unclouded sky.

Summer grows hope in the vegetable blooms;
Green corn stalks grow tall, all flowing in a sway.
The green beans grow with vines up a bean pole;
God's blessing grows something new every day.

Thunder and rain on a hot summers night;
Brings new flowers and  a sunny new day.
Thank God for the blessings of the seasons;
They spell out love in a lovable way.

Another changing season now to see;
Colorful harvest, colorful leaves.
When trees seem to sing come look at me;
But they once again give Him the glory.

With each changing season, with each new day;
There comes reasons to praise our God again.
Just as God has loved us through the seasons;
With more than mere words let us love Him.

1 Timothy 6:17
Charge them that are rich in this world,
that they be not highminded, nor trust
 in uncertain riches, but in the living God,
who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

"I AM" Here

"I AM"  Here

She sat by her window one early morn;
She had lived in the silence too long.
Heartbroken, alone and on her own;
It just seemed everything had gone wrong.

But in the frost of the window appeared;
It seemed like a dream , but oh so true.
Like God himself had written with love;
The words "I AM"  in the drips of the dew.

Could it be He was  saying some wonderful thing?
Like,  "I Am"  your God and I'm here for you."
"Never alone, never alone , dear one;
I gave a reminder, here in the dew.'

"I Am" your God, "I Am' your best  friend;"
"I  Am" your heavenly Father  above."
"I  Am "  always here and hear your prayers;"
"I  AM" faithful, "I Am"  just,  "I Am" love."
-------------

Could it be in times of grief and sorrow;
God would comfort while we are comfortless?
When no human words or act could console;
The great "I Am" can speak great things to us.

Could it be, when it seems we've been forsaken;
That God himself would send a special hug:
Upon a frozen window dripping dew?
Just to say," I AM"  here and I love you?"

Hebrews 13:5b
I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

The  words "I Am" on the window story --- is the true life testimony of a lady from our church.

He's Busy Rearranging

He's Busy Rearranging

Praise the Lord,  God loves you and God loves me.
 He has a purpose for eternity.
 I believed, I received, by His grace;
He made a way and now I'm saved.

My God  is busy rearranging me;
Into the person  he wants me to be.
He's finishing the work he has begun;
Conforming  me  into the image of His Son.

When we trusted in Christ, we saw the light;
And In Jesus we have eternal life.
He paid the price for our sin with His blood;
Because Calvary was all about love.

He's busy rearranging you and me;
He's rearranging, doing the changing.
He has a plan and purpose for each one;
That our lives may glorify His Son.

When we obey, follow the narrow way;
And praise Him for each and every day.
He will lead through paths of righteousness.
By still waters we'll know His graciousness.

He will restore us,  He will uphold us;
Because His mercy is continuous.
His blessings reside again and again;
Upon all those, that put their trust in Him.

When we trusted in Christ, we saw the light;
And In Jesus we have eternal life.
He paid the price for our sin with His blood;
Because Calvary was all about love.

He's busy rearranging you and me;
He's rearranging, doing the changing.
He has a plan and purpose for each one;
That our lives may glorify His Son.

Hands Should Please God - Acrostic - Corrections

Hands Should Please God
(Acrostic)

Hands say allot about someone, by what they do each day.
Are they serving righteousness in the choices that are made?
Not using them to hurt or steal, to undermine God's will.
Do they serve others with God's love and  motives  that are real?
Sincerity often is seen in what our hands  are used to do.
Some showing acts of kindness or signing "I Love You".
Hands can be used to comfort, wiping away someones tear.
Or be slammed to a table causing confusion or fear.
Unruly they can be when anger rules within the heart.
Loud in their doings, guided by someone not thinking smart.
Digging deep the ditches of sin, living the devil's part.
People are given hands to serve the Lord, to build, to bless.
Loving with gentleness, encourage with thoughtfulness.
Ease the pain of others by aiding them in a time of need.
Always ready  to be extended, not moved by greed.
Somehow hands seem to speak without saying one single word;
Emotions, seem to be noticed and our hands can be heard.
Good works are often something hands can do so naturally.
Only if done for the Lord, will live eternally.
Do with hands the work of love, with joy and faithful be.
        Because hands were made to serve the Lord
            with love and dignity.

Proverbs 31:10-

[10] Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
[11] The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
[12] She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
[13] She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
[14] She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
[15] She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
[16] She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
[17] She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
[18] She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
[19] She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
[20] She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
[21] She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
[22] She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
[23] Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
[24] She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
[25] Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
[26] She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
[27] She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
[28] Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
[29] Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
[30] Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
[31] Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
