Things I Do Not Want To Forget

Things I Do Not Want To Forget

This past year I had some interesting injuries.  I was stung 13 times by yellow jackets while working in my garden.  I had absolutely no swelling.  It hurt when they stung me, I did not yell or scream or panic. I just quickly went into my home where one followed me and stung me on the hand.  All the effects of the stings were gone by the next day.  Though there was some itching for a very short time.

I burned myself while I was cooking.  I had a pretty bad burn on my hand.  I went to church with a bandage on my hand.  I told them about my week, about the bees and the burn on my hand.  There were some other things but I didn't talk about them.  I'm sure that they prayed for me.  I felt that my hand healed quicker than normal.  The bee stings were unusual only because they did not affect me.

Another injury that happened to my hand.  A heavy tote fell from the top of other totes while I was looking for something.  It hit my hand hard and left a cut across the little bones on the top of my right hand.  I was afraid my hand would be bruised very badly. I prayed and asked the Lord not to let my hand bruise and that it wouldn't do any damage to my hand.  My hand healed quicker than normal again.  It healed within a week and the wound was even gone.  It didn't even leave a scar.

Broken Hearted

Broken Hearted

Broken hearted;
Weeping On;
Broken hearted;
Loved one gone.

Broken hearted;
Comfort no;
With empty arms;
Grieving  so.

Jesus healing;
Day by day.
Restoring joy;
As  heart sways.

Jesus healing;
Speaks so clear,
I know that His
Heart is near.

Jesus listens:
He is there.
Through the sorrow;
Jesus cares.

Jesus Loving:
Jesus healing:
Jesus listens:
When we're grieving.

All Wrapped Up And Wounded

All Wrapped Up And Wounded

This will be the first year in the seven years of tending my gardens here,  that I have had several big spiders building beautiful webs.  I'm not sure what kind of spiders they are , so I've been very  cautious around them.

Though I  think spiders are highly interesting I would not want to be bit by one of them.  A grass spider looks like a brown recluse, so because I cannot tell the difference between the two,  I had to make a decision to kill any spiders that resemble a brown recluse.  I have never been afraid of spiders but have always been interested in learning about them.  God made them and I'm sure there are many things we could still learn and may even find uses for them that have never been  thought of.  Hopefully never the type of discoveries that cause regular people to turn into villains that resemble them.

Some spiders are very poisonous and a bite can turn into a serious wound or even kill a person.  So if a spider happens to be on my person, better believe there will be a reaction.

I think of the time our family was visiting my mother's home.  I was getting into the bathtub and when I sat down a giant spider jumped onto me and  I started screaming  and water was flying everywhere.  Don't worry I got out alive and unbitten, but the bathroom  was soaked  with water.  My husband managed to come in and kill the thing.  Since then I have been more cautious before getting into the bath tub while visiting my mother.

I love the different patterns of the webs the spider weaves.  They are especially beautiful in the morning light with a small amount of dew on the threads.  Some webs are more sticky than other webs.  It depends on the kind of spider the web belongs to.  I have watched  a  spider spin her web,  she stays busy until her masterpiece is done.  Then she sets in the middle and awaits for some unexpecting  fly or other insect to get caught into her sticky web.  Then she will run to wrap it up in her silky threads and there it is in a tomb of silk awaiting to be eaten.

The creepiest thing about  some spiders is that they don't like to eat the crunchy outside part of it's prey.  It likes to suck all the tender juices out of it's victims body and leaves the crunchy part like some people like to leave the crust on their bread.

I'm  reminded of sin when I think of a spider.  She spins a web that traps her victim and the only way out of her trap is by some miracle.  That's why we should never mess with sin.   If you start messing  with its threads,  you're  going to get stuck and it will suck you dry of your spiritual health and abilities.  You will be wounded and possibly not survive but will be all wrapped up in a life of sin.  A life in which  you may never find a way out of . All wrapped up and wounded.

If you have found yourself all wrapped  up in the trap Satan has spun for you and you cannot find a way out... your miracle lives.  Jesus is the miracle you need.  Christ has set many free from the bonds of sin.  God's desire for you is for you to be free from sins hold on your life and be transformed in your heart.  He has provided the way through Calvary.  He will bind your wounds. His Word is the doctor of your soul.  If you have wandered away repent and return to the arms of the Savior through repentance and re-dedication of your life to God.  God is the God of second chances and will be joyous at your return and will welcome you as did the father of the prodigal Son.  He never stopped loving him and never stopped wanting him to return home.

Luke.9:11
 And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.

Let Your Love Light My Way

Let Your Love Light My Way

With  humble heart my God, My King;
I know, I don't deserve a thing.
I don't deserve your love or care;
Nor any blessing that you share.

My trust is torn and my heart aches;
Heal my love for your dear sake.
For without love is emptiness'
                    So fill me with your healing kiss.       (blessing)\

I want my life to shine for you;
In my thoughts and all I do.
I want my life to bless you, Lord;
With my willingness outpoured.

My tears have come flowing down;
And they fall upon the ground.
My lips are silent, though I sing;
While to your love I tightly cling.

When will the answers be made clear?
When will the hurt disappear?
Guard my heart, and teach me to love;
Without a doubt, like your dove.

With  humble heart my God, My King;
I know, I don't deserve a thing.
In gratefulness I sing, I pray;
Let your love be what lights my way.

I want my life to shine for you;
In my thoughts and all I do.
I want my life to bless you, Lord;
With my willingness outpoured.

Let Your Love
Let your love light my way.

Your Word

Your Word

Susan Y Nikitenko
August 9th,2012

Your Word has power to save the vilest soul;
Your Word can make the hopeless whole again.
Those blinded by darkness can see the light;
Your Word has the power to turn a heart from sin.

Your Word cuts to the quick, convicts the heart;
It brings a wanderer to repentance.
It reveals our filthiness and our shame;
It gives the broken more than another chance.

Your Word teaches us how to love all men;
Your Word makes known an open door to Him.
It announces your salvation through grace;
And that your blood cleanses us from all sin.

Your Word, so powerful, so real, so great;
Can make everything new in an instance.
That shattered life can stand and sing again;
Brokenness, turns to joy, the heart can dance.

Your Word teaches us to praise in battle;
To  trust, to be courageous, fearless.
For you are more than mighty, YOU ARE GOD;
Yet you are ever loving and near us.

Your Word causes evil to flee in fear;
Your Word proclaims your perfect holiness.
And your anger  towards disobedience;
It extends to the  repentant forgiveness.

Your Word, remains a light unto our path;
Your Word is medicine, your Word is pure.
Your Word is living water for the soul;
Your Word is steadfast and its precepts sure.

Your Word became flesh and dwelt among us;
Mighty God came to earth as holy child.
Because, you are love and you are mercy;
Your light and redemption  saves the defiled.

Thank-You For Your Word

Ps 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

 Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

 Hebrews 12:15
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God;
 lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you,
 and thereby many be defiled;

Don't You Hear Him Calling?

Deep in Thought

Don't You Hear Him Calling?

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
August 25th, 2011

God knows all your failures;
He witnessed all your sin.
But yet He still calls you;
To repent and come to Him.

His hand is reaching now;
Oh, won't you take His hand?
Jesus is the answer;
From sins destructive sands.

He's a merciful God;
Filled with love, life and peace.
For all those that love Him;
His blessings will not cease.

Will you trust in the Lord?
Will you turn from this world?
Give your life to Jesus;
You're so loved and adored.

Don't you hear Him calling?
Come to me! Come to me!
Oh, don't you know He loves you?
He longs to make you free.

He wants to heal your spirit;
That's been broken, my friend.
He will surely forgive;
Every sin you have sinned.

He'll cast it far away;
In the deepest deep sea.
Oh, don't you know He cares;
and loves you graciously?

God knows all your failures;
He witnessed all your sin.
But yet He still calls you;
To repent and come to Him.

His hand is reaching now;
His voice is calling, come!
Forgiveness is offered;
Through Jesus Christ, God's Son.

He wants to heal your spirit;
That's been broken, my friend.
He will surely forgive;
Every sin you have sinned.

Don't you hear Him calling?
Come to me! Come to me!
Oh, don't you know He loves you?
He longs to make you free.

There Is A Place

There Is A Place

There is a place that's wonderful;
Too wonderful to tell.
A place that is so glorious;
Where angels live and dwell.

Where happiness forever reigns;
No death forevermore.
Where Rubies, diamonds, precious stones;
Could decorate the floor.

There is no darkness in the sky;
No tears will fill the eye.
The songs will be sung joyfully;
No one will want to cry.

Amazing things will happen there;
Every single day.
No tongue will ever crush a soul[
Nor steal their life away.

No child will ever hunger there;
No pain will take control.
The crippled there will walk again;
Each broken heart made whole.

A golden street will lead the way;
To homes He has prepared.
Forever we will worship him;
Praise Him because He cares.

In heaven we will see His scars;
And fully comprehend.
The magnitude of what He did;
When He died for our sin.

His precious blood was shed for us;
His hands nailed to the cross.
His temples wounded with great thorns;
 His mother suffered loss .

His feet were pounded with the nail;
His mouth was torn and dry.
But yet with a heart of real love;
"Father forgive them!", was His cry.

In heaven we will see His scars;
And fully understand.
Like we've never understood before;
When we behold those hands.

We will love like we've never loved;
His joy will fill each word.
And when we look upon His face;
True worship will be heard.

In heaven we will see His scars;
And fully comprehend.
exactly what He did for us;
And what it did to Him.

Lord, There Is No One Like You

Treasure Box  ~ Gods Provision

Lord, There Is No One Like You
Song By: Susan Y Nikitenko    September 10th, 2011

Oh, Lord you know......
Ev'ry  thought of our inner part.
And you know all.......
the secrets hidden in our hearts.

You know and see........
But yet you love faithfully.
Still you whisper.........
Come dear child, come now to me.
Chorus:
Like a river......
Your love flows without end.
Like a fountain.....
Your healing  gives life again.
Like a morning......
Your mercies drop down like dew.
You're  our best friend.......
Lord, there is no one like you.
----------
Yes, You understand.........
When our heart's been torn in two.
And know if we........
Want to love and live for you.
All knowing God........
You see the storm that rocks our world.
You see our tears.......
Your comfort  gives grace,  Oh Lord.

Chorus:
Like a river......
Your love flows without end.
Like a fountain.....
Your healing  gives life again.
Like a morning......
Your mercies drop down like dew.
You're  our best friend.......
Lord, there is no one like you.

Jesus Is Our Treasure

Jesus Is Our Treasure

Jesus Is our treasure;
He is our everything.
He's the one that we seek;
And the one that we sing.

We've failed Him many times;
But He still loves us so.
He's still refining us;
For He wants us to grow .

To grow closer to Him;
To love Him oh so more.
To follow in His steps;
He is loves open door.

Jesus is our healer;
He heals the broken heart.
He binds the wounds of life;
When life has come apart.

Oh , Jesus is our strength;
He is our greatest need.
His Word is our refuge;
His example our lead.

Jesus is our best friend;
He listens and provides.
He's our place of comfort;
The place where we abide.

Jesus is our treasure;
A valuable delight.
We are treasured by Him;
And precious in His sight.

Is Jesus your treasure?

Luke12:34
