I'll See You Then

I'll See You Then

Where is my son, my precious son, where are you now?
My arms are empty, my heart in such deep despair.
Comfort has not rested in my soul somehow.
But alas, as I cry, I know that Jesus holds you there.

He is holding you in His arms, in that bright city.
Where the heavenly host sing, Where there are no tears.
Where there is no pain, Where joy ever resides.
You are healed, you are whole, you are happy there.

One day, in God's time, my soul will fly then, to you.
It is never goodbye, but I'll see you then.
I'm holding your picture and kissing you goodnight.
One day, I will see you and hold you again.

 Revelations 21:4
 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain: for the former
things are passed away.

Just a Little Note -

Just a Little Note

My 75-year-old mother is very sick, she's been sick for a very long time.  She has lung disease from smoking, but no longer smokes. She also has c.o.p.d.and she coughs all the time.  Recently, she dropped her dentures on the ground while she was in the Walmart parking lot.  I'm not sure why she didn't have them in her mouth, but my stepfather, who is also been very sick, accidentally ran them over with their car.  She told me the cost for new dentures would be $1,100.00 dollars, but they have no insurance.  Please pray that they'll be able to get the dentures she needs as soon as possible.

Thank you for the prayers for our older daughter who broke her leg while we were on vacation.
She has been a real trooper.  She broke both her tibia and her fibula, and she had to get 10 screws put into her leg.  During the time she was healing, I consistently brought meals to her and her husband's home and helped with the house chores.  My other daughter and my son-in-law's mother also helped with the food and chores. The only things that didn't survive were her garden flowers.  I could not be there enough to keep them watered and they died. She is nearly recovered now, praise God.  The cast has been removed and she no longer is wearing the boot.  She's been able to walk, but still has a limp.  She is going through therapy until she is fully healed.

My daughter had her annual garage sale, which was made up of about 15 families.  She and my other daughter worked very hard with the organizing and pricing.  This kept my wounded daughter busy during her recovery from her broken leg.  By God's grace, they were able to have another successful year, even though the location of the sale was moved from my home to their home this year.  I helped on the inside of the home, preparing lunch and helping keep the house presentable, which is very hard to do when having a very large garage sale.  I also helped with the refolding of the clothes to keep them organized.  I didn't put very much in the sale.  I made about $100.00.  I'm thankful for our three men who helped lift and move things.  Both my daughters and myself were not to do excessive heavy lifting this year.

One good thing about having the garage sale every year is that the tithes go up at our church. Our people are faithful tithers thank the Lord   We have been blessed and have been able to support three missionary families on a regular basis.  Pray that God will continue to supply that need.

My younger daughter and her husband are pregnant with our first grandchild.  The baby had the hiccups last night.  It is the first movement that she has felt since the baby was conceived. I cried when I saw the baby's ultrasound, just feeling grateful for another little one in our lives.  We are calling the baby "Baby Bean" at this time, which is humorous because the baby actually jumped when getting his first ultrasound.  We are not sure if the baby is a girl or a boy, I hope we will know before the garage sales are over for this year.

Christmas Happens

Christmas Happens

It may be hard for us to comprehend, but we can't earn our way to heaven by how good we are.  Salvation cannot be earned but rather is a gift given to us.  We do not deserve salvation, nor can we find it on our own.  God saves us because He wants to, because He loves people and because it brings glory to His name.

He has offered a gift.  This gift was delivered through our Saviour...who was born on Christmas day.  Then when He grew He died on a cruel cross.  He took our sins upon himself and became sin for us.  Emmanuel died for us.

Christmas Is - Christ born giving hope to a hopeless world. The peace of God born in the heart of every believer.  Believe upon he Lord Jesus Christ and salvation will be born in you.  This is the gift of Christmas.

Jesus is the light of the world and the light in our hearts when we trust him and accept the gift He offers to all that will receive.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, believing, will receive the gift of salvation that comes through Christ alone.

Christmas happened when Jesus was born and Christmas happens when Jesus is born in your heart.
Christmas happens because He lives evermore.

God Chooses Who He Uses

GOD CHOOSES WHO HE USES

Many times God will choose the little things;
Like a boy with a  lunch who was willing to give.
Like a boy watching over his flock by night;
Like a leper praying, a new life to live.

Like a man crying in the wilderness;
Like a small baby found hidden in the reeds;
Like a blind beggar at the kingdoms gate;
Like the widow woman who was in great need.

We are not to choose, Who God decides to use;
God knows the beginning. God knows the end.
He has a purpose, a plan, He understands.
God sees the heart, He knows who is His friend.

God has used the least of all Israel;
God uses the sparrow, though small it may be;
If God in His mercy, his pardon, decides:
He could even use someone like you or me.

Sweet Little Boy

Sweet Little Boy

 How sweet your smile;
And little nose.
Your little hands;
Your little toes.

Each word you say;
Each thing you do.
Each time you learn;
Something  new.

I love to hear;
I love to know.
Your love to me;
Is like pure gold.

Each little laugh;
Each little noise.
You touch my heart;
Sweet little boy.

Live Again

Live Again

 Mommy, I'm in heaven with Jesus;
He wanted me to tell you I'm okay.
It's happy here, and it's beautiful ;
I met more children here today.
Jesus was holding them in His arms;
He was welcoming them into heaven.
He  was wiping the tears from their eyes;
No one will ever hurt them again.
Mommy, I'm doing a special job;
I have a special delivery.
Jesus says he'll take good care of them;
He will love them just as He has loved me.
Mommy, be sure not to be angry;
Remember to love Jesus because-
One day I will see you again;
Because I know - you are so loved.
Mommy, don't let your heart stay troubled;
It is time to love other children.
Merry Christmas Mommy, I love you;
Live again, Mommy, live again.

I'll Keep You In My Prayers

I'll Keep You In My Prayers

When you were a baby;

I held you all so close.

I kissed your little cheeks;

I kissed your little nose.

I taught you how to sing.

I held you on the swing.

I taught you how to pray.

I taught you many things.

When you were a toddler;

As cute as you could be.

I taught you the bible;

You sang Jesus loves me.

On your first day of school;

I hugged you, oh so tight.

A tear ran down my cheek;

I prayed you'd be alright.

When it was time to sleep;

I would  lay beside you.

I'd talk about Jesus;

Until our time was through.

When you became a tween;

Sometimes I felt afraid.

I'd lay in bed at night;

I prayed and prayed and prayed.

"Lord please protect my child;

Help her make the right choice."

The Lord heard my prayers;

I would sing and rejoice.

Then there were your teen years;

You made some choices then;

That were not very wise;

But soon you turned from them.

I never ceased to pray;

That the Lord would shield you.

I prayed from day to day;

That He would strengthen you.

 Now you are a woman;

You're living for the Lord.

You are heavens blessing;

I pray you'll touch the World.

With God's love and kindness;

With gentle hands that give.

But yet standing strong;

And willing to forgive.

Thank-you for the blessings;

Throughout these many years.

You are full of sunshine;

I'll keep you in my prayers.
