Forgiveness Is a Beautiful Thing

"How shall we escape,
if we neglect so
great salvation; which
at the first began
to be spoken by the
Lord."
Hebrews 2:3

God is the hope for this messed-up world.
Will men cry out to our loving Lord?
He’s the answer to their hearts' dismay.
How long will men linger in delay?

Trapped in the sins of this dark, dark world,
Tossed all about in confused discord;
Troubled daily, lost, no hope, no light,
Tangled in a web and cannot fight.

Jesus gave His life; He gave His all.
Hear His voice, Oh hear His call.
“I conquered hell, sin, and the grave;
“Tell All! I am the power that saves.”

Forgiveness is a beautiful thing.
Forgiveness causes children to cling.
Held in His safety, under His wing;
Speaking His praises and moved to sing.

Glory to God, we’ll worship our King.
We and bright angels will ever sing.
Those who will trust Him, yes, they will bring;
Thanks for His blood and His suffering.

Thank you and praise you, Oh, God above;
For dying for all, and giving your love.
Thank you and praise you our Great Lord;
For giving your Son to die for this world.

The trapped soul, in sin can be made free;
The blinded tossed, be healed and see.
The troubled life can now be whole.
The tangled sinner, a saved new soul.

Thank you and praise you, Oh, God above;
For dying for all, giving your love.
Thank you forever, our Great, Great Lord;
You gave yourself a gift to this world.

Forgiveness is a beautiful thing.
Forgiveness, a gift from our Great King.
Offered to all men who will receive.
Will you hear His call? Will you believe?

Forgiveness is a beautiful thing.
Salvation’s waiting now, will you cling?
Today is the day of Salvation.
Hear now His call, escape damnation.

Forgiveness is waiting for you, friend.
A New Life, A new start will begin.
Forgiveness is a beautiful thing.
Jesus covers you, under His wing.

Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Romans 6
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. whereto ye were delivered}
Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Forgiveness Is a Beautiful Thing

“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord.” — Hebrews 2:3

God is the hope for this weary, lost world; Will men seek the love of our wonderful Lord? He is the answer to every dismay; How long will the heart in its wandering delay?

Chained by the shadows of this darkest night, Tossed in the discord, away from the light; Troubled and lonely, with no hope in sight, Tangled in webs that they simply can't fight.

Jesus gave everything—He gave His all; Listen with heart to His sweet, gentle call. “I conquered the grave and the power of sin; Tell all of the world that I make them new men!”

Forgiveness is truly a beautiful thing, A comfort that causes the children to cling. Safe in His shadow, beneath His great wing, Tuning our voices and moved now to sing.

Glory to God! We will worship our King; With legions of angels, our praises we bring. For all who will trust Him, the bells will now ring, In thanks for His blood and His deep suffering.

Thank You and praise You, our Father above, For dying for all and for giving Your love. Thank You and praise You, our Great, Holy Lord, For sending Your Son to redeem this whole world.

The soul that was trapped can at last be made free; The eyes that were blinded may open and see. The life that was broken can now be made whole; A sinner transformed to a saved, shining soul.

Forgiveness is waiting for you now, my friend; A beautiful life and a start without end. Forgiveness is truly a beautiful thing; Rest in His mercy, safe under His wing.
