World Within

 World Within

Oh, The beauty of the forest streams;
Where high above the eagle screams,
And from the mountains echoes call;
I hear a distant waterfall.

I walk the rocks along the stream;
I ponder this a wondrous scene.
Natures smells and sights and sounds;
God’s blessings everywhere abound.

Pink Rhododendron in full bloom;
I bow to smell it’s sweet perfume,
And As my eyes lift up I see;
There stands a deer, he looks at me.

He stands just by the waters edge;
To watch him drink a privilege.
Then off he runs through yonder trees;
And disappears through forest leaves.

I feel so very blessed today;
To see His wonders on display.
For through them He calls out to man;
“I have a purpose, I have a plan.”

For by design He made us all.
The fields, the trees, and mountains tall.
The deer beside the flowing stream;
Speaks of our God who can Redeem.

When the thunderbolts bring rain;
When whipping winds swirl cross the plains.
It's in the harshness of rolling storms;
Our God rebuilds, remolds, transforms.

For in this world of natures thrills;
Like flowers spread across the hills.
There is a world that’s set a apart;
It is the world within your heart.

What world does now abide in you?
A place of peace and morning dew?
Or thirsting desert wasting ‘way.
That lives in night, while it is day?

Or troubled, drowning in a sea;
Crying out, Oh God, Save Me?
Or in a tear filled day of grief;
Does Your heart beg for God's relief?

Content are you, within His care?
Or find that now your heart is bare?
Remember friend, He's always there.
Let not your bitter heart ensnare.

And as He touched this world with all;
It’s blessing, like the waterfall.
He’ll touch the heart that trust in Him;
With His sweet peace and rest within.

Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Don't You Hear Him Calling?

Deep in Thought

Don't You Hear Him Calling?

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
August 25th, 2011

God knows all your failures;
He witnessed all your sin.
But yet He still calls you;
To repent and come to Him.

His hand is reaching now;
Oh, won't you take His hand?
Jesus is the answer;
From sins destructive sands.

He's a merciful God;
Filled with love, life and peace.
For all those that love Him;
His blessings will not cease.

Will you trust in the Lord?
Will you turn from this world?
Give your life to Jesus;
You're so loved and adored.

Don't you hear Him calling?
Come to me! Come to me!
Oh, don't you know He loves you?
He longs to make you free.

He wants to heal your spirit;
That's been broken, my friend.
He will surely forgive;
Every sin you have sinned.

He'll cast it far away;
In the deepest deep sea.
Oh, don't you know He cares;
and loves you graciously?

God knows all your failures;
He witnessed all your sin.
But yet He still calls you;
To repent and come to Him.

His hand is reaching now;
His voice is calling, come!
Forgiveness is offered;
Through Jesus Christ, God's Son.

He wants to heal your spirit;
That's been broken, my friend.
He will surely forgive;
Every sin you have sinned.

Don't you hear Him calling?
Come to me! Come to me!
Oh, don't you know He loves you?
He longs to make you free.

Just A Prayer Away

Just a Prayer Away (Song)
By: Susan Nikitenko
2009

Does your heart feel burdened;
With a load of care?
Are you slowly fading;
Down in life’s despair?

Do you feel like quitting;
Throwin’ in the towel?
Just remember my friend;
Stop and pray right now.

(Chorus)
Peace ... is just a prayer away
Hope ...you can have it today
Love...it will lighten your way
Call upon the Lord and pray

Safe.... into His loving arms
Help...Through all of life’s alarms
Strength...to stand from day to day
Call upon the Lord and pray

Are you filled with worry?
Do you feel afraid?
Are all your problems;
Leaving you dismayed?

Are you crying my friend?
Are you hurting today?
Just remember my friend;
Don’t forget to pray.

(Chorus)
Peace ... is just a prayer away
Hope ...you can have it today
Love...it will lighten your way
Call upon the Lord and pray

Safe.... into His loving arms
Help...through all of life’s alarms
Strength...to stand from day to day
Call upon the Lord and pray

Call upon the Lord and Pray

New Addition

If Life Were A Pumpkin Patch

 If life were a pumpkin patch;
And fruit our good deeds.
I pray my fruit would shine forth;
God's love in every seed.

Love and grace, peace, endurance;
Let this fruit grow big and round:
So when you inspect my fruit;
Let God's  glory be what's found.

Temperance and self control;
Let this fruit grow big and strong.
I'll fertilize them with care;
Keep them from the blight of wrong.

God's  gentleness and kindness;
Let others see them in me;
So when my life is over;
My  fruit would sprout fourth seed.

In my pumpkin patch of life;
Let God's  goodness be a light.
Let my largest fruit be faith;
 With a heart that is upright .

 A meek and humble spirit;
Make this fruit bloom and grow.
So others all around me;
Won't see me,  but God's love know.

Lord as I pick my pumpkins;
From my patch with pumpkins filled.
Let your joy be present Lord:
As I see the fruit it yields.

When bringing in the Harvest;
I'll set my pumpkins here and there.
That they would be a blessing
To observers everywhere.

Galatians 5:22 - 23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Ephesians 5:8 - 9
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:   (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

 Galatians  5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. {ye...: or, fulfil not}
 Galatians  5:25
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Beddow Farms

Just A Down Home Kind Of Place

This farm has been around for 45 years.
 After 45 years Ralph Beddow and his family are still picking pumpkins.

Ralph Beddow said, "I'm proud of the fact that our prices are still some of the best around."

His two sons and daughter inlaws along with his eleven grandchildren,  help him and his wife gather the harvest of pumpkins.

The Beddow family also grows and sells flowers starting in the Spring.

Then again, they gather a harvest of Christmas trees.

Stop in and say hello to Ralph and buy some pumpkins.  I'm sure it will make his day.

Dear Jesus

Treasure Box ~ Jesus Our Friend

Dear Jesus
By: Susan Y Nikitenko
September 20th, 2011
********
Dear Jesus,  You're my best friend;
You're the song in my heart.
You're the reason I'm forgiven;
You won't let me fall apart.

Dear Jesus,  You're my captain;
You're the boat that I sail.
You're the reason that I'm living;
You've snatched my soul from hell.

Dear Jesus, You're my mountain;
You're faithfulness  endures.
I know I can trust your love;
I know I'm safe and secure.

Dear Jesus,  You're my blue sky;
You shine in my heart today.
Because when I worship you;
All the dark clouds roll away.

Dear Jesus,  You're the fountain;
That flows eternally.
All that drink of your  water.
Will  find faith and hope in thee.
 CHORUS:
You're my ocean,  that flows strong;
You're grace rides on the waves.
You're serene,  gives us a peace;
You are the power that saves.

Dear Jesus,  You're my best friend;
And the friend of all who trust you.
You are the reason for life;
I pray, I will always please you.
We can feel secure in knowing He has a greater plan even through suffering and difficulties.  God has a reason for the problems we face.  We can feel secure in that He said, " I will never leave thee."
We can feel secure in knowing that God never lies and that we can count on His promises.  We can feel secure in that nothing can pluck us out of His hand and that we have a home prepared for us.
He will not leave His children comfortless.   ~ Susan Nikitenko

Sometimes - By: S Nikitenko

Treasure Box ~ Trusting God Through Hardship

Sometimes

Sometimes joy’s river ceases to flow.
Sometimes dark clouds, loom down long and low.
Sometimes great storms, hold back the sun.
Sometimes you just want to hide or run.

Look onward to our heavenly home.
Remember His promise, you’re not alone.
Fly like a bird, on the winds of His grace.
Find sweet assurance in His embrace.

Sometimes life’s pains are hard to bare.
Sometimes our heart, groans deep in despair.
Sometimes shadows of death pass by.
Sometimes alone, we cry out, Why?

Take the hand of God’s merciful love;
Who calms the sea and sent His Dove.
The God of all that lives and breaths;
Who made the rocks, the winds, the seas,

Will lead you through your darkest night,
Will help you through the terrible fight.
He’ll hold you up and you will stand.
He’ll lead you through, hold tight His hand.

And as the rains and storm winds blow;
The peace of God will ease pains flow.
Hold fast to faith, the shield of power;
And know your God wants you to flower.

Sometimes, the greatest fruitful child;
Has suffered through the greatest test.
And though the pain takes time to heal;
Remember Child, God’s love is real.

All night will shine like a new day;
When storm clouds lift and drift away.
Through parting clouds light will appear;
Our God will ease our ev'ry fear.

His loving touch will brush our tears;
And heal all pain, from worldly years.
Forevermore sweet smiles will shine;
And all our cares be left behind.

The Butterfly
A man found a cocoon for a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through the little hole.
Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and could go no farther. Then the man decided to help the butterfly.
He took a pair of scissors and snipped the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily.
Something was strange. The butterfly had a swollen body and shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened. In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and deformed wings. It was never able to fly.
What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand, was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the small opening of the cocoon are God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life.
If God allowed us to go through all our life without any obstacles, that would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been.
Not only that, we could never fly.

Victory Victory

Victory, Victory

(Song)  By: Susan Nikitenko  2009©

Victory, Victory We Shall Cry;

Upon that glorious day.

All fighting inward, outward gone;

Sins world, at last, Will fade.

No need for sword, no need for bow;

No tears again will flow.

No need for shelter from the blasts;

For peace is all we’ll know.

No foe will hurt, will kill, ill steal.

No child left 'lone to die

No begging bread upon the streets;

No mother's desperate cry.

(Chorus)

Thank-you precious Jesus;

For giving all you gave.

The shedding of your perfect blood;

In love, you came to save.

Thank-you precious Jesus;

For all, you’ve done and do.

One day we’ll cry out victory;

And cast our crowns to you.

-------

The pain of death will cease to be;

The chains of bondage free.

Always with our loving Lord;

We’ll sing there happily.

Oh, what day when war shall cease;

Sweet Jesus ends all strife.

Painful memories of this world;

Will end of our past life.

Victory, Victory, we shall cry;

In praises to our King.

For on the day, time flies away;

He ends all suffering.

In that bright and shining city;

Where angel's praises ring.

We shall adore Him evermore;

In rest beneath His wing.

(Chorus)

Thank-you precious Jesus;

For giving all you gave.

The shedding of your perfect blood;

In love, you came to save.

Thank-you precious Jesus;

For all, you’ve done and do.

One day we’ll cry out victory;

And cast our crowns to you.

Jesus already Has won the victory over the curse of sin, through His death and resurrection, however, we will not experience the full reality of that victory until we have our sinless bodies in a sinless heaven.  Then is when praise will be perfected as well.  We are always struggling with our flesh here, but that day,  the struggle will be over.  Praise God!
