Thoughts About Humility And Love

Thoughts About Humility And Love

King Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived.  Yet, he was not a good example everyday of his life, neither was David, or Moses, or Peter.  Not one living soul has not failed God in some way.  Not one single person has got through life without disappointing someone else.  Which means at one time or another we have all been hypocritical.  If someone would say to you they have never sinned they would be a liar, because the Bible says so in I John, as a matter a fact God has called us all liars. For one to point His boney finger at someone else for their failure in a sarcastic  judgmental way - without fearing God for their prideful assessment, may find themselves fallen into the a slop bucket of sin themselves.  That does not mean we should be silent about God's judgment and punishment upon his disobedient children,  but rather, we should ask God to keep us humble in the fear that we too could be overtaken in a fault.  We are all vulnerable in a world falling farther and farther away from sound biblical teaching.  God has told us to have compassion upon the fallen victim to sin, we should warn every man and teach every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus our Lord.  With a heart of compassion and prayer we should attempt to pull them back into right living.  Though if they refuse we are to withdraw, but ready as Christ himself, with open arms, in the case they return to a right relationship with Christ.

I know I'm not the smartest person in the world and sometimes I make mistakes on my spelling, but I'm no dumb head when it comes to some things.  I'm smart enough to know the day I can set back and ridicule other people ... is the day I better watch out for my own feet to be pulled out from under me.

If there is one thing I've learned throughout the years about God.  Sometimes when we wander away, He's simply is so good to us that it shames us back into a right fellowship with Him.  God can love us into getting right too, I know this first hand.  Other times we may need the biggest spanking of our lives.  I think it's very important to remember a little bit of love can make all the difference. Especially with our own children..sometimes love is the only answer, because anything else would drive them farther away.
God knows the heart and He knows the need.

If the wisest man that ever lived could fall into sin so could you or I, we must remember that if we are already crawling close to the ground, we will never fall because we are already down dodging bullets.

 Proverbs 24:16
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
 Galatians 6:1
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
 Colossians 1:28
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
