Greater Than A Friend
I know that I'm nothing without you;
All life would be a bitter end.
You are the answer from heaven;
And your love greater than a friend.
You have held me close through heartaches;
And led me in your righteousness.
I trusted in your promises;
You taught me through
my wilderness;
You are healing my hurts day by day;
You have dried my tears with your grace.
As I go on in this life's journey;
I'll long to see you
face to face.
I know I have a home you've prepared;
A place along the golden streets.
This life is just a passing vapor;
Content in you, I am complete.
