What Kind Of Apples ~ New Additions February 28th - Restored August 25th, 2014

What Kind Of Apples
(Childrens Poem)
By: Susan Y Nikitenko
May 14th, 2011

If you were a tree;
of apples so bold;
What kind of apples;
would your tree limbs hold?

Would they be bitter;
Or would they be sweet?
Would your apples provide;
A nutritious treat?

Apples of goodness;
Filled with God's mercy?
Apples of pardon;
Grace for the thirsty?

In Jesus our tree;
Can bare joy divine.
Through trouble and trial;
Our Jesus would shine.

Apples of patience;
Longsuffering too.
What kind of apples;
Are falling from you?

Crab apples are green;
And bitter to eat.
Some apples are rotten;
and lay at ones feet.

A fruit bearing tree;
In Jesus I'm told.
Will bare sweet apples;
Sweet apples of gold.

Like honey they yield;
Providing the world.
With apples of goodness;
Produced by our Lord.

If you were a tree;
of apples so bold;
What kind of apples;
would your tree limbs hold?

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

(To the tune of dingdong merrily on high)

1. Welcome to our luncheon
for mothers, daughters, sisters
Hope you enjoy and have fun
The programs just begun

A-p-p-l-e    A-p-p-l-e   (have one singer sing this part throughout verses)

2.The Apple doesn't fall far
not far from the tree
we all learn something from someone
and someone learns something from we

A-p-p-l-e  A-p-p-l-e  (Continue through verse)

3. This year we'll eat and have games
speakers and prizes too
but listen up for a message
a message for me and you

A-p-p-l-e A-p-p-l-e

Then A Sweet Song Played (A Christmas Song)

Then A Sweet Song Played

I was thinking today;
With a grateful tear.
What gift I should give;
To Jesus this year.

Then a sweet song played;
Like a gentle kiss.
A Christmas carol;
And it went like this.

I could hear my heart;
I could hear it sing.
A Christmas carol;
Ring a ling a ling.

Ring a ling a ling,... a ling...., a ling....
Ring a ling a ling,... a ling,.... a ling....

Just give him your heart;
Wrap it with a bow.
Just give Him your song;
                                For He loves you so.    (yes He does)

Just give Him your time;
Sprinkle it with faith.
Just give Him your life;
Trusting in His grace.

Just give Him glory;
On His special day.
A merry Christmas;
                                     A happy birthday.  (Happy Birthday)

Ring a ling a ling,... a ling...., a ling....
Ring a ling a ling,... a ling,.... a ling....

Just give Him tomorrow;
Lay your burdens there.
Just trust in His promise;
                                     Remember He cares.   (He always will)

Just give Him your love;
Walking in His way.
Not just on Christmas ;
But every day.

Praising, Praising Him So Merrily

Praising, Praising Him So Merrily

Beautiful ,Beautiful Sunlight of You Saviour;
Beautiful ,Beautiful stars of your delight.
Beautiful, Beautiful rainbows of your promise;
Beautiful, Beautiful guidance through the night.

Wonderful, Wonderful grace that keeps us going;.
Wonderful, Wonderful peace that fills our soul.
Wonderful, Wonderful life that you've provided;
Wonderful, Wonderful love, that’s made us whole.

Chorus:

 Praising now, because I ‘m happy;
 Praising Him, The one who set me free.
Praising, Praising now, my bless-ed Jesus;
Praising, Praising Him so merrily.

Heavenly thoughts and dreams avail us;
Heavenly home, a place of rest.
Heavenly hope, we’re now awaiting;
Heavenly day, we’ll be so blessed.

Praising your name, In sweet amazement.
Praising your name, through fire and test;
Praising because, you are so worthy.
Praising you now, we cease to rest.

Chorus:

Praising now, because I’m happy;
 Praising Him, The one who set me free.
Praising, Praising now, my bless-ed Jesus;
Praising, Praising Him so merrily.

Singing to you, we lift our voices;
Singing of your, redemption plan.
Singing of your, glowing glory;
Singing of your, love for sinful man.

Lifting our voices, with the angels;
Lifting our praises, Let them ring.
Lifting our prayers, of adoration;
Lifting them up, to honor our King.

Chorus:

Praising now, because I’m happy
 Praising Him, The one who set me free
Praising, Praising now, my bless-ed Jesus
Praising, Praising Him so merrily.

Praising, Praising Him so merrily.

Dear Jesus

Treasure Box ~ Jesus Our Friend

Dear Jesus
By: Susan Y Nikitenko
September 20th, 2011
********
Dear Jesus,  You're my best friend;
You're the song in my heart.
You're the reason I'm forgiven;
You won't let me fall apart.

Dear Jesus,  You're my captain;
You're the boat that I sail.
You're the reason that I'm living;
You've snatched my soul from hell.

Dear Jesus, You're my mountain;
You're faithfulness  endures.
I know I can trust your love;
I know I'm safe and secure.

Dear Jesus,  You're my blue sky;
You shine in my heart today.
Because when I worship you;
All the dark clouds roll away.

Dear Jesus,  You're the fountain;
That flows eternally.
All that drink of your  water.
Will  find faith and hope in thee.
 CHORUS:
You're my ocean,  that flows strong;
You're grace rides on the waves.
You're serene,  gives us a peace;
You are the power that saves.

Dear Jesus,  You're my best friend;
And the friend of all who trust you.
You are the reason for life;
I pray, I will always please you.
We can feel secure in knowing He has a greater plan even through suffering and difficulties.  God has a reason for the problems we face.  We can feel secure in that He said, " I will never leave thee."
We can feel secure in knowing that God never lies and that we can count on His promises.  We can feel secure in that nothing can pluck us out of His hand and that we have a home prepared for us.
He will not leave His children comfortless.   ~ Susan Nikitenko

Oh Beautiful Heaven, I'm Waiting - By: S Nikitenko

Treasure Box ~ Heaven

Oh Beautiful Heaven I’m Waiting

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
2009 Revised August 16th, 2011

Beautiful heaven waiting for me;
Oh home, prepared by my Jesus.
He awaits that great day, with much love ;
This sinful body to free us.

No more lame legs, deaf ears or blind eyes,
No war injured men or women.
All sickness, handicap, pain, disease;
We’ll find none, no, not in heaven.

No more memory of past mistakes;
Happiness, forever lasting.
Such perfect praising, on Him gazing;
Humbly bowing, crowns forth casting.

Hallelujahs, anthems, songs we’ll raise;
Poetry of praise we’ll recite.
To magnify our Awesome Lord;
All day long, but there’s no more night.

All the days or nights of suffering ;
That bring discouragement and grief,
Within our Saviors comforting arms;
We’ll find great peace, and such relief.

All the Memories of this painful world;
Will not be remembered anymore.
When we go to live with our Jesus;
In our new home forevermore.

Yes, there may be pain and hurting here;
But Remember, there's a better day.
When Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
Will gently wipe all tears away

Oh Beautiful heaven, I’m waiting;
While I serve our God faithfully,
And praising each day our Jesus;
God’s sweet Son, Who died for me.
