If I Were A Little Child

No attribution required

I wrote this song around 2:00 this morning
February 6, 2019

If I Were A Little Child

If I were a little child, as lost as I could be;
I'd want to know that  someone out there, thought about me.
I'd want to know that I was loved, just any ol where.
And that someone cared enough to say my name in prayer.

Would anyone really care, if I disappeared?
If I were hiding, just to know, what would be the show?
Would Mrs. Frank draw a blank, and forget my name?
If I were only hiding, Oh, My, I'd feel ashamed.

If I were a little child, as lost as I could be;
I'd want to know that  someone, would come, looking for me.
Would any tear be shed, when they see my empty bed?
Or will I only be a picture and long lost memory?

If I were a little child, as lost as I could be;
I'd want to know that  someone out there, thought about me.
I'd want to know that I was loved, just any ol where.
And that someone cared enough to say my name in prayer.

There Is No One Else To Blame

There Is No One Else To Blame

In hell you will open up your eyes;
and you will soon realize.
That there is no turning back again;
You chose to stay in your sin.

You can't say nobody ever cared;
Of God's wrath, you had no fear.
You chose to  live your life without Christ;
You chose alcohol and dice.

You had a chance to turn from your sin;
But you wouldn't turn to Him.
To you, He offered His Salvation.
You hardened your heart again.

You can't say nobody ever prayed;
You were taught but you played.
You believed a lie and not the truth;
You were trapped in your drug use.

Your mother shed tears  and grew older;
Wanting a Son to uphold her.
You were taught with a bible in hand;
But you chose life's sinking sands.

With tears, distraught,  a mother still cries;
because her wayward Son died.
Oh, what pain you left behind and grief;
Death was sudden like a thief.

God gave you many chances, but then-
You still died within your sin.
Now you beg from hells torment and flame;
There is no one else to blame.

It Really Doesn't Have
To Be This Way.  It Is Your
Decision.

 1John 2:19
They went out from us, but they were not of us;
for if they had been of us, they would no doubt
have continued with us: but they went out, that they
 might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Run, Run, Run to the Lord - S Nikitenko

Run, Run, Run to the Lord
(Song) By: Susan Y Nikitenko

Lost in the darkness of night;
Tired of the toil and fight.
Walking along in self’s night;
Longing for a life that is right.

I’ve traveled this world all alone;
Self destruction my stepping stone.
I want something different and new.
Today I’m trusting, today I’m trusting,
today I’m trusting in you.

Run, run, run to the Lord.
Turn, turn, turn from the world.
I've, raised, raised up my voice.
Today- I make Jesus my choice.

Sing, sing, sing out His praise
Walk, walk, walk in His ways.
Today I'm saved, I'm saved from my shame.
Washed now I’m never, washed now I’m never,
Washed now I’m never the same.

The Battle Rages - By: Susan Y Nikitenko

The Battle Rages
By: Susan Y Nikitenko
2009

The battle rages, day to day,
The fiery darts fly nigh.
The enemy is relentless.
He traps the passerby.

Dodge those flaming arrows of doubt;
Duck the lies of demise.
Run from the trickery of lust;
Cover your wandering eyes.

Our weapon is the Word of God;
With shield, by faith we stand.
We guard our heart in righteousness;
And keep our Sword in hand.

Our dear Lord, He leads the battle.
He cries out, “Move ahead!
Keep faith, I’ll guide you through the fire;
Let’s go, lift up the dead."

"Let’s rescue all our wounded troops,
Lead them back into the camp.
I’ll be there to bring you through;
Remember, I’m your lamp."

"The enemy, desires souls;
He wants them all to burn;
Go out and fight, with heavens might
Convince the lost to turn."

"Keep your hand held tight to mine;
Please never slip away.
The enemy, wants to bind you;
And take you as his prey."

"Yes, the enemy, seems so strong,
He’s winning everywhere;
But listen men, let’s fight the fight;
The Truth will soon appear.”

Soon the shining clouds will open;
Rays of radiance will gleam.
The Lord of glory shall come forth;
As though it were a dream.

Peaceful bliss, like a new morning;
Will reign forevermore.
Comforted in the arms of God;
In rest from fight and war.

It's Simply by Mercy Alone - Corrected

It's Simply by Mercy Alone

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
August 8, 2010

It's simply by mercy alone;
God offers love from His throne;
To a world that's lost and blind.
He seeks to save, and yearns to find.

It's not of works, that one may boast;
Nor when one out gives the most.
He's calling now, come now to Him;
For ye must be born again.

Just like a new born butterfly;
Can see the world from the sky;
Your blinded eyes are opened wide;
When Jesus comes and lives inside.

It's simply by mercy alone;
He offered His Son to atone.
His blood was shed for humankind;
To break the curse of sin that binds.

It's not by Mary, nor by might;
Not baptism, not by sight.
He's calling now, come now to Him;
For ye must be born again.

Just like a new born butterfly;
Can see the world from the sky.
Your blinded eyes are opened wide;
When Jesus comes and lives inside.

It's simply by mercy alone;
Hellish pulls are overthrown.
For when you trust in Christ alone;
Salvation will become your own.

It's not by penance that one pays;
That keeps one safe on that great day.
He's calling now, come now to Him;
For ye must be born again.

Just like a new born butterfly;
Can see the world from the sky.
Your blinded eyes are opened wide;
When Jesus comes and lives inside.

It' s simply by mercy alone;
God blesses those who obey;.
Who make Him, their Lord and King;
And seeks His will for each day..

No need for some priestly father;
To forgive your deep dark sins.
for Jesus is the great high priest;
And lives within forgiven men.

Just like a new born butterfly;
Can see the world from the sky.
Your blinded eyes are opened wide;
When Jesus comes and lives inside.

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God

Eph 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Hebrews 4:14
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Mt 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Ps 13:5
But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
