If I Were A Little Child
If I were a little child, as lost as I could be;
I'd want to know that someone out there, thought about me.
I'd want to know that I was loved, just any ol
where.
And that someone cared enough to say my name in
prayer.
Would anyone really care, if I disappeared?
If I were hiding, just to know, what would be the
show?
Would Mrs. Frank draw a blank, and forget my name?
If I were only hiding, Oh, My, I'd feel ashamed.
If I were a little child, as lost as I could be;
I'd want to know that someone, would come, looking for me.
Would any tear be shed, when they see my empty
bed?
Or will I only be a picture and long lost memory?
If I were a little child, as lost as I could be;
I'd want to know that someone out there, thought about me.
I'd want to know that I was loved, just any ol
where.
And that someone cared enough to say my name in
prayer.
