Your Easter Celebration

Your Easter Celebration

May your Easter celebration;
Be more than fun and food.
May the thoughts  of Christ our Savior;
Bring you joy renewed.

Remembering His faithfulness;
His love, and price He paid.
That  Easter  Day -Resurrection;
Salvation's way was paved.

May it be a day of laughter;
A day of gratefulness.
For the Springtime within the heart.
Because of His forgiveness.

May your Easter celebration;
Point your child to the cross.
For if it is all vanity;
Your child will suffer loss.

May your Easter be a memory;
Your child will hold onto.
A memory of dedication;
For  Christ who died for me and you.

A Glorious Gift Was Given - Easter

A Glorious Gift Was Given
Easter

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
2009 revised  and renamed April 2nd, 2012
Formerly was called - The most glorious Truth

A glorious gift was given;
 When Christ died for my sin.
He arose and I'm justified;
I’m found perfect in Him.

He intercedes both day and night;
He prays for me each day.
He’s praying for my conformity,
To live the living way.

So faithfully, He prays for me;
To overcome the world.
His hand of grace is on my life.
He is an awsome Lord.

I’m in His hand forever.
He holds me there to stay.
Until that great, exciting day;
He carries me away.

One day I will be glorified;
A perfect glowing soul.
Praising in His kingdom;
While, His glory I behold.

Songs of love and admiration;
Will chime both day and night.
A great and wondrous jubilee;
Will fill the heavens bright.

With all my brothers by my side;
My sisters there as well.
We will sing and praise the One;
Who saved our souls from hell.

His resurrection power lives;
Within the heart of those.
Who trust in what He did for them.
He died and He arose.

A glorious gift was given;
When Christ died for mankind.
It is available to all;
For those who seek - will find.

1Peter 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

John 17:9 -24

 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

How Could We Forget So Soon? Easter

How Could We Forget So Soon?
An Easter Prayer  Poem About God's Provision

How could we forget so soon;
The agony you faced for us that day?
How could we forget so soon;
The sacrifice you were willing to pay?

How could we forget at all;
The miracle of your resurrection?
How could we forget at all;
Your power revealed in all creation?

Not one mountain is too tall;
The greatest ocean is never too wide.
No problem or obstacle;
Is too enormous- you still can provide.

Hells power could not keep you;
Life returned to your lungs that Easter day.
The angels stood by your tomb;
With great force, the tomb's stone was rolled away.

There you stood in the doorway;
Our victorious risen Holy Lord.
Death and Hell could not keep you;
You provided love to this world.

Perhaps the birds were singing;
Maybe Easter lilies lined the pathway.
Did the angels rejoice there;
In celebration of that Holy day?

We serve a  risen Savoir.
You see our hearts and know our faintest cry.
We serve a loving Savior.
Your grace is never lacking in supply.

Not one mountain is too tall;
The greatest ocean is never too wide.
No problem or obstacle;
Is too enormous -  you still can provide.

An Easter Prayer

An Easter Prayer

 Oh, Lord you give a song in the night.
While my head is on my pillow;
Your Holy Word brings me comfort and light;
Such a gentle peaceful  billow.

Knowing your love is unchangable -

and knowing you are merciful.
Brings me to tears  of gratitude;
For a fountain so beautiful.

A fountain of love, a fountain of grace;

Your pardon  flowing from Calvary.
For wretched  poor sinners just like me;
A fountain flowing abundantly.

A fountain of life paid for in blood;

Holy blood, perfect  blood, Your blood.
You died a torturous death that day;
 Yet your lips still cried out in love.

A victorious fountain of hope;

Eternal life offered to mankind.
To the lowest of lowest  sinner;
A breaking of fetters that bind.

A resurrection to a new life;

A new hope, a new name, a new day.
And as you arose from deaths grave;
So is the soul for which you save.

A fountain, Easter's story unfolds;

Living water so pure and free;
The purpose for which you were born.
To die, to live and to redeem.

As I close my eyes in whispered prayer;

Oh, may I praise you the night long.
In both my heart and all my dreams;
May you be the theme of my song.

Easter

Easter

By: Susan Y Nikitenko
2011 ©

Easter is a time of remembering;
All that Jesus Christ has done.
Loving, honoring, and celebrating;
The vic'try that day, that was won.
Eternal Life was provided by Him;
"Rejoice! One and all, in God's Son."

Easter Is a time of remembering;
A risen Christ victorious.
Our Savior won over death and hell;
The thought of it is glorious.
Eternal love has conquered the curse;
"Rejoice!  For what he's done for us.

Easter Is...

Easter Is...
By: Susan Y. Nikitenko

More than just bunnies and Easter eggs;
More than the flowers of spring.
More than our gathering families;
More than the cheer that it brings.

Jesus arose victorious;
Over sin, hell and the grave.
He opened the door of life to all;
And longs for all to be saved.

Tulips and daffodils stand bright;
The birds build nests while they sing.
Children laughing with lighted smiles;
All these, are gifts from our King.

But Easter is a new beginning;
New hope for a hungry soul.
It stands for something amazing;
A broken life can be made whole.

\
John 6:35
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life:
he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
