 A Father’s Prayer for His Children

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the precious children You have entrusted to my care.
You know their hearts, their dreams, their struggles, and their future.
I lift each one before You today.

Give me the strength to lead them with courage,
the patience to guide them with gentleness,
and the wisdom to teach them Your ways.
Let my words build them up,
and let my example point them toward You.

Protect them from harm —
from anything that would wound their hearts or pull them away from truth.
Surround them with good friends, godly influences,
and opportunities that shape their character for Your glory.

Help them grow in kindness, integrity, and faith.
Let them know they are loved —
not only by me, but by You with an everlasting love.

When they face challenges, be their strength.
When they feel alone, be their comfort.
When they succeed, be their joy.
And when they wander, draw them back with Your gentle hand.

Lord, make me a father who prays faithfully,
loves deeply,
and leads my children toward the life You have prepared for them.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
