🌿 Prayer for Elder Parents
Gracious Father,
We lift our elder parents into Your loving and faithful hands.
Thank You for the years You have given them —
for the wisdom they’ve shared, the sacrifices they’ve made,
and the love that has shaped our lives.
Lord, as their steps slow and their strength changes,
surround them with Your peace.
Give them comfort in their bodies, clarity in their minds,
and calm in their hearts.
Let them feel valued, honored, and deeply loved.
Bless their days with gentle joy —
a kind word, a warm memory, a quiet moment of rest.
Protect them from loneliness, fear, and discouragement.
Let Your presence be their steady companion.
Help us, their children, to care for them with patience,
respect, and compassion.
Teach us to listen well, to serve with humility,
and to cherish the time we have together.
Lord, hold our elder parents close.
Renew their spirits, strengthen their faith,
and let Your grace be the light of every day they are given.
