Poem: Pray For Our Leaders

🙏 Pray for Our Leaders — 

When burdens rise like mountains
And choices press like stone,
We lift our leaders heavenward
Before the Father’s throne.

For God is still the Keeper,
The Guide of every heart;
And prayer becomes the pathway
Where wisdom’s mercies start.

We ask the Lord to strengthen them,
To guard their steps each day;
To steady them with courage
And light their righteous way.

And so we bow in reverence,
Obedient to His call —
To pray for those in leadership,
For God is Lord of all.

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority…”
— 1 Timothy 2:1–2 (KJV)

May our prayers rise like sunshine,
A shield on every side;
For when God’s people intercede,
His faithfulness abides
