The
Perfect Gift
I was thinking today about how God sent his Son to us. It was motivated by love, a love willing to
give his most precious gift. God
realized that we were unable to ever live good enough to go to heaven when we
die. He knew that there was only one
way. He sent His Son. Jesus was born and He grew and live a perfect
example so we could learn from His life.
Then He was rejected and crucified maliciously. God knew Jesus would be rejected and that He
would not only be crucified but all the powers of hell would torment him at His
death. He took all the torment that you
and I deserve and He willingly let others beat him and crucify Him. We know it was willingly because the bible
says He would lay down His life for us
. The bible tells us He was God in the
flesh and He could of destroyed all His
enemies if He wanted to but He didn't.
You know Why? Because of
love. He loved us even when we didn't
love him. He served as a perfect example
of love yet, the majority did not want
His love, they wanted something else more than God. Some people thought they were good enough,
that is when someone is too prideful to
see his own sin. Some wanted to follow other Gods that have no love neither
could they hear or see because they were not real. God is real and has real love. He loves you and He wants you to become His
child no matter your age, no matter your race, no matter what you've done. You and I are the reason God gave His
Son. That my dear friends is why
Christmas is so wonderful and that is why He IS, the perfect gift.
