How Could We Forget So Soon? Easter

How Could We Forget So Soon?
An Easter Prayer  Poem About God's Provision

How could we forget so soon;
The agony you faced for us that day?
How could we forget so soon;
The sacrifice you were willing to pay?

How could we forget at all;
The miracle of your resurrection?
How could we forget at all;
Your power revealed in all creation?

Not one mountain is too tall;
The greatest ocean is never too wide.
No problem or obstacle;
Is too enormous- you still can provide.

Hells power could not keep you;
Life returned to your lungs that Easter day.
The angels stood by your tomb;
With great force, the tomb's stone was rolled away.

There you stood in the doorway;
Our victorious risen Holy Lord.
Death and Hell could not keep you;
You provided love to this world.

Perhaps the birds were singing;
Maybe Easter lilies lined the pathway.
Did the angels rejoice there;
In celebration of that Holy day?

We serve a  risen Savoir.
You see our hearts and know our faintest cry.
We serve a loving Savior.
Your grace is never lacking in supply.

Not one mountain is too tall;
The greatest ocean is never too wide.
No problem or obstacle;
Is too enormous -  you still can provide.

Because You’re Worthy to Be Praised

Because You Are Worthy to Be Praised

I want to write a new song;
And sing so all can hear.
How you changed my life completely;
Wiped away my flowing tears.

I want to sing a new song;
And with loving words proclaim;
 Your goodness and your mercy;
Praises to your precious name.

Because you are worthy to be praised;
Your hands were wounded for me.
One day I will see your face;
With thanks for setting me free.

This world seems so far from you;
Many have turned aside.
Please, use my serving hands for thee;
And close to you I’ll hide.

You are worthy to be praised;
Your feet were wounded for me.
One day I will walk with you;
Touch your cheek so tenderly.

I will tell you how I love you;
Because you first loved me.
Oh, what a day, great and wonderful day;
To behold your face and say.

You are worthy to be praised;
Your side was wounded for me.
 I will fall down on my face;
Loving, praising you eternally.

I want to sing a new song;
And with loving words proclaim;
Your goodness and your mercy;
Praises to your precious name.

Revelations 5:12
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

 Psalms 18:3
 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
