Weeping Willow

Weeping Willow

Like a lovely  weeping willow;
That sings within the wind.
Let us sing rejoicing in Truth;
Pointing lost souls to Him.

Like a lovely weeping willow;
Bearing much precious seed.
Let our branches reach out;
To hungry souls in need.

Like the willow after the rain;
Bowing low to the ground.
Let our hearts and souls bow to pray;
Weeping until they be found.

And as the willow rejoices;
When the sun warms its limbs.
Let us rejoice like the angels;
When one soul comes to Him.

How Can One Question ?

How Can One Question ?

A Poem About the Existence Of God
By: Susan Y Nikitenko
February 19th ,2011

Gods celestial creations beautifully shine.
How awe-inspiring the earth's grand design.
So remarkable it causes, tears to fall.
How can one question the maker of all?

He spoke and the worlds existed with grace;
He brought life to the world and a form to each
face.
So awesome our God, our creator and King
How can one question God's creation of things?

ln order we see all the seasonal wonders;
Spring tulips in bloom and the hot summer
thunders.
Fall's colorful array and winter's fresh snow;
How can one question? I really don't know.

Great mountains and forests scented with pine;
The sound of mountain waters flowing divine.
These peaceful retreats of splendorous shade;
Can one not see that these gifts are God made?

The waves of the ocean come crashing in time;
While all of the seagulls sing along in a chime.
The sands of enjoyment and the fresh ocean
breeze;
How can one question with blessings like
these?

The sun rises each morning with a new day;
It sets in the evening , while star glitter plays.
Morning and evening both start with a song;
To question our maker is just simply wrong.
