They Didn't Want Peace

They Didn’t Want Peace

He came with calm and open hands,
To help, to heal, to understand.
He said, “Let’s build, not break apart,”
But they had war inside their heart.
He spoke of love and setting free,
Of kindness, hope, and unity.
But they just laughed and turned away—
They wanted war, not peace that day.
He didn’t shout, He didn’t fight,
He stood for truth, He stood for right.
But when they pushed and raised their voice,
He had to make a braver choice.
He stood up strong, though it hurt deep,
To guard the ones who longed for peace.
He fought not out of pride or hate,
But for the peace they tried to break.
So when the world turns mean or loud,
And storms of anger form a cloud,
Be strong and kind, like Christ would be—
A light when others just can’t see.

Get Busy Believe 2 Poster

Get Busy, Believe 2

It's time to roll up your sleeves and get busy, believe;
That God is still God in a world that's deceived.
He is alive, He is well, He is faithful and true;
If you remain  faithful,  His blessings abide on you.

Though you may feel down, see all the trouble around;
Be joyful  and know our hope, we are heaven bound.
Let us by grace rise above the sorrow we feel;
Because God is our refuge, our strength,  He is real.

God has no joy in sins convoy, it destroys.
God still hates sin and all satan's clever decoys.
When it seems the devil has won the war,  teardrops fall;
Such grief , because Christ himself grieves within us all.

We can still shine for Jesus, in a very dark world;
Casting all our cares, and our fears upon the Lord.
We've already won, when we keep loving  Him.
Rejoicing, praising with hope, and resisting sin.

It's time to roll up your sleeves and get busy, believe;
That God is still God in a world that's deceived.
He is alive, He is well, He is faithful and true;
If you remain  faithful,  His blessings abide on you.

Though this world may harden to the things that are right.
We are bound for a home where there is no more night.
Where springs of joyfulness,  will fill those in pure white;
Where great our rejoicing, in that city of light.

Reading

 Luke 13:3  - I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Reading - John 15

"When we are born again - Jesus comes and abides in our heart.  Then is when we can too be grieved like God over sin and grow a hatred of it.  God hates sin but because of love He calls for repentance."   "Susan Y Nikitenko"
