🙏  Prayer for a Very Sick Friend with Cancer)

Merciful Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting our dear friend into Your loving and powerful hands.
You see what doctors cannot see.
You know what we cannot know.
And You love him with a depth we cannot measure.

Lord, his life is in the balance.
The sickness in his body is great, the pain is real, and the road has been long.
But You are the God who walks into hospital rooms, who sits beside the suffering, who holds the hand of the weak, and who whispers peace into the deepest fear.

We ask for Your healing touch.
If it is Your will, drive out every cancer cell.
Strengthen his body where it is failing.
Calm his breathing, ease his pain, and steady his heart.
Let Your presence fill the room like warm light breaking through the darkest night.

We pray for his spirit.
When fear rises, speak peace.
When discouragement presses in, lift him up.
When he feels alone, surround him with Your nearness.
Let him sense You holding him, carrying him, and watching over him moment by moment.

We pray for his family.
Comfort them in their worry.
Give them strength for each day, rest for each night, and hope that does not collapse under the weight of uncertainty.
Let their hearts feel Your arms around them.

Lord, give wisdom to every doctor, nurse, and caregiver.
Guide their decisions.
Steady their hands.
Let compassion fill their words and clarity fill their minds.

And Father, we place his future in Your hands.
You are the God who heals.
You are the God who sustains.
You are the God who receives Your children with everlasting mercy.
Whether You raise him up in this life or carry him gently into the next, let Your peace rule over every moment.

Hold him close.
Speak Your love over him.
Let Your presence be stronger than the sickness, stronger than the fear, stronger than the darkness.

We trust You, Lord — fully, humbly, and with all our hearts.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day is Soon Approaching

Day is Soon Approaching

Sing joyfully, dear friends;
Be happy in the Lord.
Stay faithful in His work;
Our end is great reward.

Soon upon that golden street
In gratefulness complete
We’ll cast gold crowns of love
At our Savior’s Holy feet

There’s a purpose and a plan
God has for us to do
Be a light, for those in night
The job for me and you

Walking rightly in the way
Our Lord will one day say
Well done, my faithful child
You listened, you obeyed

Live your life in His love
Be generous and kind
Always praying, always praising
Give hope to poor and blind

What you do and don’t do
Is important and it matters
Live to build others up
Rebelling only scatters

Yearning eyes are watching you
In hopes of something true
Please, good Christian friend
Be careful what you do

Walking daily in His light
Follow in the Way
Joyful heart, shining bright
Watchful, please don’t stray

 Day is soon approaching
The Son is soon to come
Live your life completely
To glorify the Holy One
