I Found Love

I walked into the little church;
Not knowin' what to expect.
I didn't  know what  I would find;
A place of love or neglect.

Would Bible bullets be shot out?
Would I feel like I should die?
Because I failed to  be the man;
But I humbly came to try.

I heard the message loud and clear:
I found love, I found love there.
Forgiveness  and hope for my soul;
I knew God still lives  and cares.

I  brought my children and my wife:
Hoping  for a better start.
I found the Lord was calling me;
And I gave to Him my heart.

I heard the message loud and clear:
I found love, I found love there.
Forgiveness  and hope for my soul;
I knew God still lives  and cares.

I Found Jesus, I Found Jesus There.

God Has Blessed Me With You

You were just a little child;
I taught in our Sunday School.
You were only five years old;
When you learned the golden rule.

You learned about forgiveness;
Though you were very young.
You understood the gospel;
And learned ev'ry song we sung.

You grew to be a strong man;
One who loves, who gives, and prays.
One who stands up for Jesus:
And it shows in many ways.

In the way you love others;
Your wife and your family.
And how you give of yourself;
By grace, sacrificially.

I look up to you, with smile;
For I'm very blessed, it's true.
I'm overjoyed at the thought;
That God has blessed me with you.
