Knowing God Can

Knowing God Can

 When Israel stood before their enemies;
When it looked like they didn't have a chance.
Just like the historic David and Goliath;
When standing by faith there are no I can'ts.

I can do all things through Christ Jesus our Lord;
When I've sought to please Him and keep my heart right;
I  can live in confidence, knowing God  can;
When I am walking in His power and His might.

When Daniel obeyed, trusted God and He prayed;
He was thrown in a den of hungry lions.
But God heard his plea, most defiantly;
 And each of His enemies were silenced.

When tempted and tried, facing the enemy;
The enemy that all Christians face some way.
When standing by faith there are no I can'ts;
To the dutiful Christian who trusts and prays.

I can do all things through Christ Jesus our Lord;
When I've sought to please Him and keep my heart right;
I  can live in confidence, knowing God  can;
When I am walking in His power and His might.

 Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

God will bless us whether now or in heaven when we choose to live the biblical way.  Following righteousness, following truth, maybe even willing to die just as many Bible people of the scriptures, who died for righteousness sake.  God will not bless the choosing of sin  as acceptable even if it seems it has prospered.
