Church Prayer Bulletin March

Remembering You

A Unified Prayer for Our Military, Our Country, Our Leaders, Our Armed Forces, and Our Churches

O Lord God Almighty, our Shield and our Strong Tower,

We come before Thee with humble hearts, seeking Thy blessing upon our nation and all who serve it. Thou art the God “from everlasting to everlasting” and in Thee alone do we find safety, wisdom, and peace.

For Our Military and Armed Forces

Heavenly Father, bless the brave men and women who stand in defense of our freedom.
Strengthen their hands, steady their minds, and guard their lives.
Let Thy Word be their courage, for it is written:

“The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.”
Psalm 121:5

Protect their families who wait at home.
Give comfort to the grieving, hope to the anxious, and peace to the weary.
Let every soldier feel the nearness of Thy presence.

For Our Country

Lord, have mercy upon our land.
Heal our divisions, cleanse our sins, and turn our hearts back to Thee.
Let righteousness rise like the dawn, and truth stand firm in every corner of our nation.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.”
Psalm 33:12

May our people walk in humility, gratitude, and reverence before Thee.

For Our Leaders

Father, grant wisdom to those who hold authority—
our President, our Congress, our judges, and all who govern.
Guide them with understanding from above.
Let integrity rule their decisions and justice shape their actions.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God… and it shall be given him.”
James 1:5

Turn their hearts toward truth, compassion, and righteousness.

For Our Churches

Bless every church that lifts high the name of Jesus Christ.
Strengthen pastors, teachers, and servants of the gospel.
Revive the weary, restore the broken, and renew the fainthearted.

Let the fire of prayer burn bright again.
Let the Word of God be preached with power.
Let love abound among the brethren.

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Zechariah 4:6

For the Grieving and the Weary

Lord, comfort those who mourn.
Lift those bowed down by sorrow.
Give rest to those who are tired in body and soul.

“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”
Psalm 147:3

Let Thy presence be their peace,
Thy promises their anchor,
Thy love their healing.

Closing Prayer

O God of all grace,
Bless our military, our country, our leaders, our armed forces, and our churches.
Keep us faithful.
Keep us humble.
Keep us strong.
And may Jesus Christ be honored in all we do.

In His holy name we pray, Amen.

Faithful Quotes From the Heart

  • “Strength is born when the heart kneels before God.”
  • “A praying nation is never without hope.”
  • “The weary find rest when they lean on the everlasting arms.”
  • “Faith stands firm when the world trembles.”
  • “God’s peace is the soldier’s greatest armor.”
  • “Grace carries what grief cannot.”
  • “The church shines brightest when it prays the most.”

A Lighthearted Moment: Melvina the Lone Donkey

Melvina the Lone Donkey heard the farmer praying for the military and puffed out her chest as if she were ready to enlist.
The farmer chuckled, “Melvina, you can’t join the armed forces.”

Melvina brayed proudly—until a tiny barn mouse scurried by.
She leaped straight into a feed bucket and refused to come out.

The farmer shook his head and said,
“Melvina, you’re brave until bravery is required.”

The children in church still say:
“Lord, help us not to have Melvina courage—loud until the mouse shows up.”

And the Scripture reminds us:

“Be strong and of a good courage… for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

Joshua 1:9

Our prayers are with you consistently; May God be with you. We love you always.
