Adopted

Adopted
Something has been on my mind today about the love of our heavenly Father. When we became God's child we were adopted into the family of God.

As soon as we become an adopted child we automatically become blood-related. The blood of Christ shed for us makes us blood-related in the family of God. God will never consider us adopted but His love for us is because when we accept Christ as Saviour we are blood relations. If I had adopted a child I would want to be like my heavenly Father, unconditional love and to love that child just as if that child were my own flesh and blood.
Once you truly become God's child you will always be God's child. When my children were born they were mine and will always be my children, even if they were to do anything wrong, they would still be my children. The same thing with God, when we were born into the family of God we became His child. God never throws His babies away - He doesn't believe in abortion. You will always be His child. He promises never to leave us or forsake us. nothing can separate us from His love. His blood shed for us was and is powerful. Once applied to your heart and life it's permanent. Besides if we could lose our salvation that will mean God lied. If we could lose our salvation that means His Spirit would leave our hearts, God said He would never leave us nor forsake us. If God's spirit was to leave our hearts that would mean God lied. The truth is God never lies. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Some mothers will leave and forsake their children, we hear about children being abandoned sometimes on the news, but it is not something God will do.
Isaiah 49:15
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Ephesians 1:5
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Asking Forgiveness

Asking Forgiveness

When we became born again we do not have to ask God for forgiveness anymore, even if we did something wrong. We confess our sins but no longer have to ask forgiveness.  True Or False

Mathew 6:9 -15 .....vrs 12
After this manner, therefore, pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
(We must get our own hearts right with our brother/sister before God will forgive us.)
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

When we sin we hurt our relationship with the Heavenly Father. We grieve the Holy Spirit. When we have gone on without restoring that relationship by asking forgiveness and the confessing of our sins, we can not live in the peace and joy the Lord has spoken of to us. Our lives will not exemplify the Holy Spirit's attributes in our lives. Sometimes this also happens when our faith has been tried for a very long period of time and we begin to doubt. We have to restore our relationship with our Heavenly Father just like we do with people. God will not bless our prayer if we have ought against our brother/sister The Bible tells us to first go to our brother/sister then God will bless our prayers. Your brother or sister will never be able to say you didn't try. God wants you to forgive your brother/sister from the heart, even if they will not accept your attempts to restore a relationship with them. Then our prayers will be heard for our own forgiveness. If we are truly saved you cannot lose our salvation, but an unforgiving heart means a disobedience has hindered our relationship with God. Therefore, our effectiveness as a Christian is also hindered. God's will is for us to humble ourselves even if we are not the guilty one. If we do this God will bless us for our obedience and give us the grace to love those that do not love us.
