Kindness

A kind act lifts the fallen;
And shelters with loves wings.
It looks to the things of others;
It's actions humbly sing.
Kindness in a selfish world;
Brings hope to dwindling dreams.
And encourages the downhearted;
When all is lost it seems.
Kindness lives selflessly;
Putting others needs ahead.
Kindness will control it's tongue;
And leaves some things left unsaid.
Kindness sometimes looks unkind;
And causes tears and pain.
But grows into a blessing;
That brings forth a needed change.
Kindness is the heart of God;
Beating in a world unkind.
God's love exemplified;
And is extended to all mankind.
(Lifting the fallen in this poem is speaking of a child of
God who has drifted from the Christian life because of discouragement or sin.)

Ephesians 4:30-32
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
