Amazing Grace Baptist Church May 2026

e🌿 May Days of Prayer and Peac

Heavenly Father, As May unfolds in beauty and light, we lift our hearts to You in prayer. Bless our church family with unity, love, and steadfast faith. Strengthen the weary, comfort the lonely, and heal the sick with Your tender mercy. Let Your peace rest upon every home, every heart, and every burdened soul.

Guide our country, Lord, with wisdom and righteousness. Let truth and compassion lead our leaders and citizens alike. Make our church a beacon of hope — a place where Your Word is honored, Your Spirit is felt, and Your people grow strong in grace.

Help us to succeed not in numbers alone, but in love, service, and devotion. May every prayer we offer this month rise like sunshine before You, warming hearts, renewing faith, and drawing us closer to Your will.

In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

Here is a beautiful, elegant, heart‑stirring poem based on your phrase:

**🌿 May Prayers Bring Daily…

A Poem of Encouragement**

May prayers bring daily strength anew,
For hearts that bend but still push through;
May quiet whispers said in faith
Be met with mercy, love, and grace.

May prayers bring daily peace within,
A calm the world cannot begin;
A stillness only God can give,
A gentle courage just to live.

May prayers bring daily light to see
The path God shapes intentionally;
For every step, though small or slow,
Is guided by the One who knows.

May prayers bring daily hope that stays
Through shadowed nights and weary days;
A hope that blooms like morning sun
And warms the soul of everyone.

And as we lift our hearts each day,
God meets us in a tender way—
For every prayer, both small and great,
He answers and is never late.

🌿 “The Window of Prayer” — A May Devotional Story

The rain had been falling for days.
Anna sat by her kitchen window, watching the gray clouds roll across the sky. Her garden — once bright with tulips and daffodils — now looked weary and drenched. She sighed, feeling the same heaviness in her heart.

Life had been difficult lately. Her husband’s health was failing, her grown children were far away, and the quiet of the house seemed louder than ever. She whispered, “Lord, I don’t even know what to pray anymore.”

Just then, a small bird landed on the windowsill — soaked, trembling, but still singing. Its fragile voice pierced the silence, and Anna smiled through tears.
She realized that even the smallest creature still lifted its song in the storm.

She opened her Bible and her eyes fell on these words:

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
Philippians 4:6 (KJV)

The verse felt like sunlight breaking through the clouds.
Anna bowed her head and began to pray — not with perfect words, but with a heart that trusted. She prayed for her family, for her husband’s strength, for her own courage, and for her church family who carried burdens too.

As she prayed, the rain softened. The bird flew away, leaving behind a melody that lingered in her spirit.
Anna realized that prayer doesn’t always change the storm — sometimes it changes the heart within it.

Bible Reading

Philippians 4:4–7 (KJV)

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Reflection

When life feels heavy, prayer becomes the window through which God’s light enters.
Even when the rain falls, the heart that prays will find sunshine again.

⚓ Anchored in Faith — Even When Fearsome Trouble Rages

The waves may rise, the winds may roar, and the world may tremble — yet the heart anchored in Christ stands firm.
When fearsome trouble rages, faith becomes the rope that holds us steady, and prayer becomes the sail that catches Heaven’s breath.
He whispers peace into the storm and strength into the soul.
Through every trial, His Word remains our anchor — unbroken, unmovable, and everlasting.
Hebrews 6:19 (KJV)
That we stand together, steadfast in faith, radiant in love, and courageous in service —
anchored in Christ, even when the storm rages on.
Our hope is not in calm seas, but in the Captain who commands them.
“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast.”
Let this be our prayer as a church:

🌟 A Father’s Prayer for His Children

This Picture Is for This prayer only

A Father’s Prayer for His Children

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the precious children You have entrusted to my care.
You know their hearts, their dreams, their struggles, and their future.
I lift each one before You today.

Give me the strength to lead them with courage,
the patience to guide them with gentleness,
and the wisdom to teach them Your ways.
Let my words build them up,
and let my example point them toward You.

Protect them from harm —
from anything that would wound their hearts or pull them away from truth.
Surround them with good friends, godly influences,
and opportunities that shape their character for Your glory.

Help them grow in kindness, integrity, and faith.
Let them know they are loved —
not only by me, but by You with an everlasting love.

When they face challenges, be their strength.
When they feel alone, be their comfort.
When they succeed, be their joy.
And when they wander, draw them back with Your gentle hand.

Lord, make me a father who prays faithfully,
loves deeply,
and leads my children toward the life You have prepared for them.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🌿 Prayer for Our Family

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of family — for the love that begins in marriage and flows through generations. We lift up our home before You today, asking that Your presence dwell richly among us.

For Parents: Grant us wisdom to lead with gentleness, patience, and faith. Let our words build up, not tear down, and our example draw our children closer to You. Teach us to listen with compassion and to love with endurance.

For Our Marriage: Bind our hearts together in unity and grace. Let forgiveness be our daily language and kindness our constant tone. May our love reflect the covenant You made with Your people — steadfast and true.

For Our Children: Protect their hearts and minds from harm. Guide their steps in truth and fill their days with joy and purpose. Let them grow strong in faith, gentle in spirit, and bold in love.

For Our Cousins, Aunts, and Uncles: Bless each household with peace and provision. Heal old wounds, restore relationships, and knit us together in harmony. Let laughter and grace fill our gatherings.

For Our Church Family: Strengthen every pastor, teacher, and servant. Let our fellowship be marked by unity, humility, and joy in Christ. Make us a light in our community — faithful in prayer, generous in love, and steadfast in hope.

Prayer for Our Grandchildren

This Picture Stays with This Post Only

Prayer for Our Grandchildren

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts, lifting our grandchildren into Your loving, powerful, and protective hands.
You knew them before they were born.
You shaped their personalities, their gifts, their futures, and the purpose You placed within them.
We thank You for the joy they bring, the laughter they carry, and the promise they represent.

Lord, place Your hand upon their lives.
Guard their minds in a world filled with noise and confusion.
Let truth be their compass, wisdom their companion, and discernment their shield.
Protect their innocence, strengthen their character, and surround them with friends who lift them toward goodness and not away from it.

We pray for their faith.
Let them know You early, love You deeply, and walk with You faithfully.
When questions come, give them clarity.
When doubts whisper, give them confidence.
When challenges rise, give them courage.
May they learn to hear Your voice above all others and trust Your Word above every opinion.

We pray for their hearts.
Heal any hurt they carry.
Calm any fear that troubles them.
Fill them with compassion, kindness, and a spirit that reflects Christ.
Teach them to forgive quickly, love generously, and stand strong in who You created them to be.

We pray for their future.
Guide their steps, Lord — in school, in friendships, in choices, in calling.
Open the right doors and close the wrong ones.
Lead them to places where their gifts can flourish and their faith can grow.
Prepare them for the people they will one day influence, serve, and love.

We pray for their protection.
Place angels around them wherever they go — in classrooms, on roads, in activities, and in every unseen moment.
Guard them from harm, from deception, from discouragement, and from anything that would pull them away from Your path.

We pray for their identity.
Let them know they are loved, chosen, and created with purpose.
Let them never measure themselves by the world’s standards, but by Your truth.
Give them confidence rooted not in achievement, but in being Your beloved children.

We pray for their joy.
Let laughter fill their days.
Let hope anchor their hearts.
Let peace steady their steps.
Let Your presence be their constant companion.

And Lord, help us as grandparents.
Make our words life‑giving, our example steady, our prayers persistent, and our love unwavering.
Let our faith be a lighthouse they can always find, even in the storms of life.

Father, bless our grandchildren — today, tomorrow, and all the days to come.
Shape them into men and women who walk in truth, shine with grace, and carry Your light into their generation.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Prayer for Our Nation and Those Who Serve

A Prayer for Our Nation and Those Who Serve

Lord God Almighty,
We lift our nation before You with humble and earnest hearts.
We pray for our President, for all who serve in government,
and for every leader entrusted with decisions that shape our future.
Grant them wisdom, integrity, courage, and a deep desire for what is right.

We pray for law enforcement officers who stand watch day and night.
Protect them from harm.
Strengthen them in moments of danger.
Guide them to act with justice, compassion, and clarity.

We pray for our firefighters, EMTs, and all who run toward emergencies
when others must run away.
Cover them with Your safety.
Steady their hands.
Give them peace in the middle of chaos
and rest when the work is done.

We pray for the men and women of our armed forces—
those at home, those deployed, and those preparing to serve.
Surround them with Your shield.
Keep their families in Your care.
Let courage, honor, and protection follow them wherever they go.

And Lord, we pray for the vital issues our country faces today.
Where there is division, bring unity.
Where there is fear, bring peace.
Where there is confusion, bring truth.
Where there is need, bring provision.
Where there is darkness, shine Your light.

We will not fail to pray for these things,
because we trust that You hear, You care, and You are able.
Let Your hand rest upon our nation,
and let Your will be done.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

πŸ™ Prayer of Faith for Our Church

Heavenly Father, We come before You with grateful hearts, trusting in Your unfailing love. Thank You for hearing us in every season—summer’s warmth, autumn’s change, and winter’s chill. Strengthen our faith to pray boldly, believe deeply, and walk confidently in Your promises.

Let our church be a house of prayer, a place where burdens are lifted, miracles are witnessed, and Your presence is felt. Teach us to seek You first, to trust You fully, and to rejoice in Your answers—whether they come swiftly or slowly.

Bless every family, every child, every elder, and every servant in this congregation. Warm our hearts with Your Spirit, guide our steps with Your Word, and fill our lives with Your peace.

We pray in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

πŸŽΆ A Beautiful Story About a Hymn of Prayer

In the late 1800s, a young pastor named Elisha A. Hoffman visited a woman in deep distress. Her husband had died, her children were ill, and her heart was heavy

with sorrow. After listening to her pour out her grief, Hoffman gently said, “You must tell Jesus. He alone can help you.”
The woman paused, wiped her tears, and whispered, “Yes… I must tell Jesus.”
Those four words stayed with Hoffman. That night, he sat at his small desk and wrote the hymn:

“I must tell Jesus all of my trials; I cannot bear these burdens alone.”

The hymn spread across churches like a healing balm. People sang it in revival tents, in small country chapels, and in grand sanctuaries. It became a reminder that prayer is not a ritual—it is a lifeline.
To this day, when believers sing

“I Must Tell Jesus,” they join a long line of saints who discovered that the Lord truly is

“a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1 KJV).

                                   Quote For Today

1.       “Prayer is the doorway through which God’s warmth enters the coldest seasons of our lives.”

2.       “When we pray, heaven bends low, and God’s mercy rises high.”

3.       “No winter is too harsh for the God who spoke the snow into existence.”

4.       “Answered prayer is God’s gentle reminder that He is nearer than breath.”

5.       “Faith lifts our requests; God’s love delivers the miracle.”

6.       “Every prayer sown in tears becomes a testimony harvested in joy.”

7.       “God’s power is not limited by weather, time, or circumstance—only by our willingness to ask.”

❄️ A Winter Answered Prayer: A True Story from Montana

The winter of 1994 settled hard over the small town of Livingston, Montana. Snow piled high against ranch fences, and the wind swept across the plains with a force that rattled windows and tested the resolve of every soul who lived there. Among them was Brother Daniel, a quiet, hardworking man who rarely asked for help and believed deeply in the power of prayer.

Just days before New Year’s, his truck—his only means of getting to work—broke down on a remote stretch of road. The mechanic told him the repair would cost far more than he had. With temperatures dropping below zero, Daniel felt the weight of worry pressing on him. But that night, he opened his Bible and read, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (1 Peter 5:7 KJV).

He knelt beside his woodstove and prayed, “Lord, You know my need. I trust You to make a way.”

The next morning, he heard a knock on the door. Standing there was Pastor Reynolds, bundled in a heavy coat, with two men from the church behind him. They explained that during their prayer meeting the night before, Daniel’s name had come strongly to their hearts. One of the men, a retired mechanic, said he felt the Lord urging him to check on Daniel first thing in the morning.

Within hours, they had towed Daniel’s truck to the church garage, repaired it with parts the mechanic “just happened” to have on hand, and filled the tank with gas.

Daniel stood there in the cold Montana air, tears warming his eyes. “God heard me,” he whispered. “He really heard me.”

That Sunday, he testified, “Even in the harshest winters, God’s mercy finds us.”

And the congregation felt the truth of it settle over them like a warm blanket.

Amazing Grace Baptist Church Bulletin November 30th, 2025

Susan Nikitenko Owner

 A Prayer for Our Church

Lord God, We thank You for the gift of our church—a place of refuge, worship, and fellowship. You have planted us here with purpose, and we ask for Your Spirit to dwell richly among us.

Strengthen our leaders with wisdom and grace. Renew our hearts with compassion and courage. Let our worship be sincere, our teaching be true, and our outreach be bold.

Where there is weariness, bring rest. Where there is division, sow peace. Where there is doubt, shine Your light.

Make us a people who love deeply, serve joyfully, and walk humbly with You. Let our church be a beacon of hope, a sanctuary of healing, and a testimony of Your goodness.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

πŸ™ Prayer of Thanksgiving and Comfort

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of this season — for family, for friends, for the blessings seen and unseen. We are grateful for the laughter around the table, the warmth of fellowship, and the daily mercies that remind us of Your love. Even in simple things — a shared meal, a kind word, a quiet moment — we see Your goodness shining.

Yet, Lord, we remember those who cannot join the celebration because of sickness, sorrow, or pain. We lift them before You, asking for Your healing touch, Your peace that passes understanding, and Your presence that comforts in the night. Teach us to be merciful, to weep with those who weep, and to carry one another’s burdens in love. May Your light shine in every heart, and may gratitude and hope rise even in the midst of trials.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thanksgiving Afterglow

The dishes are washed, the pies are crumbs, and the laughter has quieted into memory. But in the hush that follows Thanksgiving, something sacred remains — a glow not from candles or ovens, but from hearts that have remembered what matters. Gratitude doesn’t end with the meal; it begins there. It stretches into the ordinary days, lighting them with the warmth of shared stories, humble prayers, and the quiet joy of enough.

In this afterglow, we see more clearly: the miracle of breath, the gift of family, the grace of second chances. Thanksgiving is not a holiday — it’s a posture. And when we carry it forward, we become living echoes of the goodness we celebrated. The table may be cleared, but the spirit of thanks lingers, glowing softly in every act of kindness, every whispered prayer, every moment we choose to see beauty instead of lack.

Blessed Are the Merciful – Weep with Those Who Weep

Mercy is more than a kind act; it is the heart of Christ beating within us. When we choose compassion, we reflect the Savior who forgave freely and loved deeply. “Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy” (Matthew 5:7, KJV). Mercy is not weakness but strength — the strength to forgive, to embrace, and to lift others when they cannot stand alone.

And mercy is never silent. It listens, it feels, it weeps. Paul reminds us to “weep with them that weep” (Romans 12:15, KJV). To share another’s sorrow is to honor their humanity and to echo Christ’s own tears at Lazarus’ tomb. In this holiday season, when joy and pain often mingle, let us be merciful enough to laugh with those who rejoice and tender enough to weep with those who grieve. In doing so, we become living witnesses of Emmanuel — God with us.

🌟 ✝ πŸ’§ ✝ 🌟   Blessed Are the Merciful   πŸŒŸ ✝ πŸ’§ ✝ 🌟

Encouragement for the Sick at Thanksgiving

Even when illness keeps you from the table or the celebration, the spirit of Thanksgiving can still fill your heart. Gratitude is not limited to feasts or gatherings — it is found in the quiet moments when you feel God’s nearness, in the kindness of those who care for you, and in the hope that tomorrow can be brighter. Your presence, even in weakness, is a gift to those who love you.

The holidays remind us that joy is not measured by strength or circumstance, but by faith. Just as the shepherds came weary yet rejoicing to the manger, you too carry a testimony of courage and belief. Even in sickness, you shine with the light of Christ, showing that gratitude and hope are stronger than pain. May this season bring you peace, comfort, and the assurance that you are deeply loved and never alone.

Christmas Bulletin Story

One snowy Christmas Eve in 1914, during the First World War, weary soldiers on both sides of the trenches laid down their weapons and began to sing “Silent Night.” The haunting hymn carried across the battlefield, and soon voices joined together in harmony. Men who had been enemies only hours before stepped out into the cold night, shook hands, exchanged small gifts, and even played a game of football. In that moment, the power of believing in peace and hope overcame fear and division. It was a glimpse of heaven breaking into earth — a reminder that the birth of Christ brings light even into the darkest places.

Christmas teaches us that believing is not naΓ―ve, but courageous. The shepherds believed the angel’s message and ran to the manger. Mary believed the impossible promise and carried the Savior of the world. And those soldiers believed, if only for one night, that love was stronger than war. The true story of Christmas is that faith transforms chaos into harmony, despair into joy, and enemies into brothers. When we choose to believe, we open our hearts to miracles — and we see Christ born anew in us.

Why We Should Pray for Our President and His Wife

Use This Picture With This Speech Only

Why We Should Pray for Our President and His Wife

A Message of Faith, Unity, and Responsibility

Ladies and gentlemen,

In times of celebration and in seasons of challenge, prayer remains one of the most powerful gifts we can offer. Today, I want to speak about why we should pray for our President and his wife — not out of politics, but out of principle, compassion, and faith.

We pray because leadership is a burden. The President carries the weight of a nation — decisions that affect millions, responsibilities that stretch across borders, and pressures that few can truly understand. Behind every headline and policy is a human being, striving to serve, lead, and protect. Prayer lifts that burden. It offers strength where stress resides, wisdom where uncertainty lingers, and peace where conflict threatens.

We pray for his wife because she, too, bears a unique role — often unseen, yet deeply felt. She is a partner in leadership, a voice of grace, and a symbol of dignity. Her influence reaches homes, schools, and hearts across the country. She deserves our prayers for courage, clarity, and comfort.

We pray not because we always agree, but because we always care. Prayer is not about politics — it’s about people. It’s about asking God to guide, protect, and bless those who serve, regardless of party or position. It’s about humility, hope, and healing.

When we pray for our leaders, we honor the values that built this nation: faith, unity, and respect. We become part of the solution, part of the light, part of the legacy.

So let us pray — for wisdom in decisions, for strength in trials, for compassion in leadership, and for peace in their hearts. Let us pray that they lead with integrity, love with sincerity, and serve with humility.

Because when we lift our leaders in prayer, we lift our nation in hope.

Thank you, and may God bless our President, his wife, and the United States of America.

"Sunflowers in Your Sancuary"

“Sunflowers in Your Sanctuary”

Lord God Ou Father, of Light and Life,

This morning we gather in Your house,

Like a field of sunflowers turning toward the dawn—

Unified, expectant, and full of praise.

Bless this church, O God,

Let Your Spirit shine upon every person,

Warming cold places, healing broken hearts,

And drawing each soul toward Your radiant truth.

May our worship rise like golden blooms,

Our prayers stretch upward in faith,

And our fellowship reflect Your beauty—

Bright, bold, and rooted in love.

Strengthen our leaders, refresh our weary,

And sow new seeds of hope among us.

Let this sanctuary be a garden of grace,

Where joy blossoms and Your Word takes root.

We thank You for the light of this day,

And the light of Your presence.

May we grow together, always turning toward You.
May our lives and choices bless you and honor You
.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.

πŸ’– Too Busy Praying to Put Others Down: A Call to Holy Humility

πŸ’– Too Busy Praying to Put Others Down: A Call to Holy Humility

"Pray without ceasing."1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV) "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."Philippians 2:3 (KJV)

🌿 A Prayerful Posture, Not a Pedestal In a world quick to critique, swift to judge, and eager to elevate self, Scripture beckons us toward a different rhythm. A rhythm shaped by grace, humility, and prayer. A life where we’re too engaged in heaven’s conversation to engage in earthly condemnation. The deeper our prayer life, the less room there is to puff ourselves up—because prayer levels the ground and reminds us who we truly are without God’s mercy.

🌀️ Prayer Washes Away Pride Those who walk with the Lord in constant communion find that ego is gently eroded. Not because we’ve forgotten who we are—but because we’ve remembered who He is. In His presence, we can’t help but regard others with compassion. We’re too busy carrying burdens in prayer to pile stones of judgment.

When your heart is whispering intercession and your soul is tuned to heaven’s frequency, criticism loses its sting and comparison loses its grip.

⚖️ The Measure of Grace God’s Word commands us to “esteem others better than ourselves.” That’s not weakness—it’s divine strength. It’s the posture of Christ, who knelt to wash feet and wore a crown of thorns so we could wear a robe of righteousness.

To esteem others is to say:

  • “I see the image of God in you.”

  • “I’m not here to outshine—I’m here to uplift.”

  • “Your worth isn’t measured by my opinion but by His sacrifice.”

πŸ“Ώ Prayer Redirects the Heart Every time we bow our heads or lift our eyes in prayer, we’re surrendering the right to be right. We’re surrendering pride, envy, gossip, and bitterness. We’re saying, “Lord, change me first before I try to change others.” It’s in that sacred surrender that lives are transformed.

Prayer doesn’t just change circumstances—it changes character.

🌼 A Spirit of Grace in a World of Grievances Let’s be known not by the weight of our arguments but by the weight of our prayers. Let our legacy be written in love, not in debates won. Let our hearts be altars, not platforms.

πŸ™ Too Busy Praying to Put You Down Because prayer is not a weapon to wield against one another—it’s the balm of heaven for wounded hearts. Because grace is too beautiful not to share—and humility too holy to ignore. Because if Christ humbled Himself for our sake, we can kneel in spirit for others.

And if our days are marked by unceasing prayer, our lives will be marked by unshakable love.

πŸ™Œ Living a Life of Unceasing Prayer:

A Call to Heartfelt Communion with God

πŸ™Œ Living a Life of Unceasing Prayer: A Call to Heartfelt Communion with God

"Pray without ceasing."1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)

πŸ’§ A Whisper in the Soul Prayer isn’t a ritual—it’s a heartbeat. Scripture invites us not merely into moments of devotion but into a lifestyle steeped in continual communion with the Lord. It’s not that we must spend every waking second with folded hands and bowed heads. It’s about cultivating an inner posture of prayer, a spirit that listens, speaks, and walks in step with the Holy Ghost no matter the hour or season.

πŸŒ… Waking to Worship What does it mean to pray without ceasing? It means our first breath in the morning is a “Thank You,” and our last sigh at night is a whisper of trust. It means the mundane becomes majestic—a morning commute turns into intercession, a quiet lunch becomes a moment of thanksgiving, and tears at bedtime become sacred supplication.

πŸ› ️ Prayer in Action When we live in a spirit of prayer, it changes the way we respond:

  • A harsh word becomes an opportunity to seek grace.

  • A setback becomes a reason to trust.

  • A joyful moment becomes a spark of praise.

Prayer doesn’t remove hardship—it reshapes our hearts to face it. It reminds us that we are not alone. The God who parted seas and raised the dead walks beside us in grocery aisles, hospital rooms, and the quiet corners of our homes.

πŸ’¬ Prayer Is Conversation, Not Performance God isn’t waiting for polished speeches. He delights in honesty. Groanings too deep for words are precious to Him (Romans 8:26). Whether you’re praying with joy, confusion, anger, or desperation—He hears. Prayer is less about eloquence and more about presence. It’s showing up and being open.

🌱 A Transforming Spirit A life of continual prayer cultivates:

  • Spiritual Awareness – We begin to notice His presence even in silence.

  • Bold Faith – Prayer fuels trust, even when answers tarry.

  • Deep Peace – In constant communion, anxieties lose their grip.

  • Overflowing Grace – We start responding more like Christ because we’ve spent time with Him.

🏞️ Let Every Moment Be Sacred Let your life become a sanctuary, a tapestry woven with whispered thanks and quiet pleas. Pray while you're cooking. Pray while you're parenting. Pray while you’re creating. Let your spirit be constantly turned toward heaven, like a flower bending to the sun. This is the rhythm of the redeemed.

πŸ™ So, Pray Without Ceasing, Not because it's duty—but because it’s delight. Not because it's expected—but because it’s empowering. Not just because He commands—but because He listens.

And in that unbroken conversation, lives are changed. Hearts are healed. Heaven touches earth.

How God Thinks of Us and Cares for Our Sorrows

How God Thinks of Us and Cares for Our Sorrows

"I am wonderfully made and deeply loved, for it is written, 'I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.' (Psalm 139:14). I walk in faith and strength, trusting in God's plan for me, for His word says, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' (Jeremiah 29:11).

A Devotional: There are several people we love and care about who are going through sickness, difficulties, loss, discouragement and recovery. We are praying for you, our thoughts are with you. May God comfort you and heal you in mind, and body. May he comfort your heart.

How God Thinks of Us and Cares for Our Sorrows

The heart of God toward His children is one of profound love, tender compassion, and unshakable faithfulness. In a world that often leaves us feeling unseen or burdened, the Bible is a constant reminder of how deeply God knows us, thinks of us, and cares for us.

In Psalm 139:17-18, it says, *"How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand."* This verse reveals that God’s thoughts toward us are not fleeting or casual—they are vast, intentional, and filled with love. The Creator of the universe is intimately aware of every detail of our lives, and His thoughts toward us are precious. Can you imagine that? The One who formed the stars in the heavens thinks of you constantly. You are not a forgotten face in a crowd; you are cherished and valued beyond measure.

God not only thinks of us; He is also deeply aware of our sorrows. In Psalm 56:8, the psalmist declares, *"Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?"* This poetic imagery shows us how God values and acknowledges every tear we shed. He does not dismiss our pain or overlook our struggles. Instead, He tenderly collects our tears as if they were treasures, a testament to His compassion. He knows the depths of our heartaches, and He walks with us through every storm. What a comfort it is to know that no pain goes unnoticed by the One who loves us most.

God’s desire for us is beautifully summarized in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."* His plans for us are filled with hope and purpose. Even when life feels chaotic or uncertain, we can trust that God’s intentions for us are always good. He desires for us to walk in His peace, to grow in His grace, and to experience the abundant life that comes from knowing Him.

As we meditate on these truths, let us remember that we are never alone. God’s thoughts toward us are countless, His care for our sorrows is tender, and His plans for our lives are filled with hope. Today, take a moment to rest in His presence, bring your cares before Him, and trust in His unfailing love. He sees you. He knows you. And He holds every tear, every joy, and every moment of your life in His hands.

*Prayer: Lord, thank You for thinking of me with love and for caring deeply about my joys and sorrows. Remind me that You see me, know me, and walk with me through every season. Help me to trust in Your plans and to find peace in Your presence.

In Jesus Name Amen.
