Get Up! Get Up!

Get Up! Get Up!

We don't praise the Lord for what the devil does.
But we can praise Him always through all things because;
He's our comfort, He's our strength, He's our friend through the trial.
He's the one who has more than gone the extra mile.

Don't let the devil enjoy your bitterness;
Cease from your sin and hold closely to Jesus.
Jesus loves you and forgives you, get up, get up;
Don't let the devil keep a child of God down.

He still forgives, He has not forgotten you;
Please don't be convinced of some awful lie- not true.
Don't live a life of defeat , but worship at His feet.
Let joy entreat your heart today, I humbly plea.

He removes impossible when we believe;
He can free us from any trap the devil  weaves.
Peter cried, save me, save me, in the storms waves;
Praise God, in our little faith, Jesus still saves.

Don't let the devil enjoy your bitterness;
Run to the cross and hold closely to Jesus.
Jesus loves you and forgives you, get up, get up;
Don't let the devil keep a child of God down.

Put on your amour, put  on your shield of faith;
Though we are weak, we are strong in His merciful grace.
Stand at attention, See loving redemption;
Keep your eyes on the one who walks on the waves.

 Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Proverbs 24:16
 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth
up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Lord, You See Each Heart

Lord, You See Each Heart

I praise the Lord, my God, today;
With heart, with joy, with song.
I know there’s sorrows all around;
In you, I can be strong.

The darkness has grown darker now;
With hate, with doubt, with pride.
You seem to be the only friend;
In which I will confide.

Oh, Lord, you see inside each heart;
Just fill mine with much faith.
I know I’m far from perfect, Lord.
I’m grateful for your grace.

I have no other place of strength;
No other place of peace.
In you I’ve put my faith and trust;
It’s you I want to please.

I know at times I’ve felt angry;
Abandoned and unloved.
But forgiveness is part of you;
You are a snow white dove.

I praise the Lord, my God, today;
With heart, with joy, with song.
For though this world
brings grief and tears;
Your presence makes me strong.

 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings:

Psalms 40:3
And he hath put a new song

and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
