Little Note - About My Life
A lady from our church had a husband that was
dying of cancer. I called her, to check
on her and listened to her for a very long time. Before we got of f the phone, I asked her if I could pray for her and her
husband. I prayed and we said
goodnight. As soon as we hung up the
phone she immediately called back with news that her husband had died. I believe God wanted me to talk to her the
hour or so before her husband died. God knows
our needs before we know we need them.
God allowed me to be the person to help prepare her for what was about
to happen. I was stunned by the fact He
died as soon as we hung up the phone. I
know it will be a memory in my friends heart for a long time and mine too. Things like that do not happen by accident.
I'm reminded in my heart what a great responsibility
we have dealing with the hearts of people.
I pray the Lord will help me be the person I need to be...for her and
all those God puts in my path.
Father God, Please be with my friend through all
the coming days she has to face. Give
her grace to face each day, hold her in your arms of your comfort. Provide her needs for help and support during
this time of grieving.
